El Puente Nuevo de Ronda es uno de esos monumentos que, a través de los siglos, se han convertido en verdaderos iconos; imágenes representativas de las ciudades en las que se alzan. Un monumento que ha traspasado fronteras, identificando no solo a una población, sino a todo un conjunto. Un conjunto que podemos identificar con el de la Andalucía romántica. Circunstancia que ha llegado a ser posible gracias a la multitud de representaciones gráficas y plásticas que lo han tenido como protagonista. Till now, to speak about Joaquín Peinado was Spanish School of Paris to do it of one of the most representative painters of one badly understood, and badly named; of a follower of the cubism who used the geometric forms and estilemas of the famous ismo to realize works of great epidermal figurative and conceptual abstract sense; of a “pro-form” art. But there was, before this one, another Peinado. A painter that, in the shade of the decorative cubism of Picasso, I take to his linens a “new” cubism; a neo-cubism who, mixed with blasts of return to the order and adorned with drops of surrealism, it led, together with Bores, Viñes, Cossío, González de la Serna, Gischia, Estevé, Beaudin or Menkes, to the lyric figuration called.Hasta ahora, hablar de Joaquín Peinado era hacerlo de uno de los pintores más representativos de una mal entendida, y mal denominada, Escuela Española de París; de un seguidor del Cubismo que utilizó las fórmulas geometrizantes y estilemas del célebre ismo para realizar obras de gran figuratividad epidérmica y sentido conceptual abstracto; de un arte “pro-forma”. The international responsibility of the Mexican state regarding maltreatment to children and adolescents

Se trata de un artículo de investigación científica publicado por la Revista sobre la Infancia y la Adolescencia (Reinad), en su numero 17.En este documento se realiza un análisis sobre la responsabilidad internacional del Estado mexicano producto del incumplimiento de sus obligaciones constitucionales y convencionales ante el maltrato de las niñas, niños y adolescentes por parte de quienes ejercen la patria potestad o se encuentran al cuidado directo de los mismos; asimismo, se analizan los órganos encargados de sancionar esas conductas. También se efectúa un estudio sobre la legislación internacional y nacional aplicable. Como todo abordaje académico y científico que permite investigar, analizar y comprender la realidad para intentar cambiarlo, utilizamos la teoría “optimista” de los derechos humanos, también conocida como teoría “ideal”, que tiene su origen en el derecho natural, pero, confrontándola con la teoría “pesimista “crítica”,” o “controvertida”, que históricamente se ha derivado de ese mismo modelo. Sin omitir la parte de antecedentes, este estudio lo abordamos a partir de la reforma constitucional del 10 de junio de 2011, la cual establece la obligación del propio Estado para promover, respetar, proteger y garantizar los derechos humanos, así como prevenir, investigar, sancionar y reparar sus violaciones

Gingival hyperplasia as an early manifestation of acute myeloid leukemia. A retrospective review

We study the prevalence of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) among patients with severe gingival enlargement. We retrospective reviewed the clinical records of patients with severe gingival enlargement, between 2011 and 2018. The Saxer and Mühlemann index were used to measure inflammation and gingival bleeding. The degree of dental mobility was measured by the Nyman and Lindhe technique. A correlation analysis was carried out to test whether there were any associations among the different variables. In the sample of 117 patients the mean gingival bleeding index was ?3 and the degree of dental mobility ?2.3. 1.7% of patients, with severe gingival hyperplasia were diagnosed with AML. We found a significant association between gingival bleeding and aging (p<0.001) and a trend (0.54) between bleeding and suffering from AML. Severe gingival enlargement, abundant gingival bleeding, and dental mobility could be early manifestations of a blood dyscrasia

Methodological aspects of measuring injuries from traffic accidents at the site of occurrence

Traffic accidents are a well-known public health problem worldwide. In Mexico research into risk factors for motor involving vehicles accidents and their consequences has recentlly been taken into account. The relevant literature does not normally describe the methodological aspects involved in the collection of primary data, since most studies have used secondary data the good quality and validity of wich are assumed. The paper presented seeks to discuss and share with researchers in this field, some of the methodological aspects to be considered in the attempt to recreate the scene of the accident and obtain information approximating to reality. The measurements in situ of, such traffic accident variables as injury, use of seat belt, speed and alcohol intake are discussed.Los accidentes de tráfico de vehículos de motor, representan un problema de Salud Pública a nivel mundial. En México la investigación en este campo es limitada y la metodología para su estudio está poco desarrollada. Por otro lado, son relativamente escasos los artículos publicados en revistas científicas internacionales que abunden, en la discusión sobre aspectos metodológicos de la investigación. El objetivo del trabajo es el presentar algunas consideraciones metodológicas que pueden ser de utilidad para los investigadores interesados en el tema de las lesiones por accidentes de tráfico. Se discuten aspectos que deben tenerse en cuenta cuando se miden en el sitio de ocurrencia algunas variables fundamentales para el estudio de las lesiones, como son: Si el conductor está o no lesionado, uso de cinturón de seguridad, velocidad y consumo de alcohol.Os acidentes de trânsito de veículos a motor representam problema de saúde pública, em nível mundial. No México, a pesquisa, nesse campo, é limitada e a metodologia para seu estudo é pouco desenvolvida. Na literatura científica internacional são escassos os artigos que discutem os aspectos metodológicos de pesquisa nesse campo. Assim, realizou-se estudo com o objetivo de apresentar alguns aspectos metodológicos úteis para os interessados em pesquisar lesões por acidentes de trânsito. Foram discutidos aspectos sobre como medir, no local de ocorrência, as variáveis básicas para o estudo dessas lesões, tais como: se o motorista sofreu ou não lesões, uso de cinto de segurança, velocidade e consumo de álcool

DIGITAL DIVIDE IN PERUVIAN HIGHER EDUCATION: A POST-PANDEMIC REVIEW

By early 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic paralyzed the world, with the origin being the Chinese city of Wuhan. By March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a pandemic.  The dire consequences of this disease were reflected in a historic global recession, and in the health field, SARS-CoV-2 had wreaked havoc, especially in the elderly, due to worse manifestations and higher mortality rates. As a result, most countries were able to curb the spread of the virus by imposing mandatory measures such as not leaving their homes and very strict timetables. Among the measures considered was the closure of educational institutions, including universities. At that time, there was a paradigm shift in the way educators had to change the way they taught classes by making use of various online platforms. Online, distance and continuing education learning became a panacea for this unprecedented global pandemic for both educators and students. In this review, a passage is made through the different scenarios experienced by the COVID-19 pandemic, taking into account several objectives such as: the COVID-19, and the case of universities, the educational transition: from face-to-face to virtuality, challenges and opportunities after the pandemic, and last but not least, how the Peruvian State, was able to cope with the pandemic of Covid-19, and the challenges that should continue to be considered after the pandemic

LA GUARIDA DE LOS PIRATAS - UN JUEGO SERIO BASADO EN RETOS DE MATEMÁTICAS BÁSICAS (THE PIRATES’ LAIR – A SERIOUS GAME BASED ON BASIC MATH CHALLENGES)

Resumen Los resultados de la prueba PLANEA, aplicada a los estudiantes de sexto grado, muestran que el 59% tienen un nivel insuficiente en matemáticas. En este artículo, se presenta el desarrollo de un juego serio, que tiene como objetivo ser una herramienta de apoyo para que los estudiantes refuercen sus conocimientos en matemáticas. El juego utiliza el aprendizaje basado en retos y sumerge al estudiante en un mundo en el que debe aplicar su experiencia y conocimientos matemáticos para conceptualizar un problema y buscar objetos y herramientas que le ayuden a resolverlo. En el desarrollo se utilizó una metodología ágil de prototipado rápido. El juego fue validado mediante una encuesta de satisfacción que muestra que al 95% de los encuestados les gustó el juego y que podría ser utilizado por estudiantes y profesores. Este tipo de juegos se convierten en una herramienta alternativa para aprender, principalmente, en estos tiempos de pandemia. Abstract The results of the PLANEA test, applied to sixth grade students, show that 59% have an insufficient level in mathematics. In this paper, the development of a serious game is presented, which aims to be a support tool for students to reinforce their knowledge in mathematics. The game uses challenge-based learning and immerses the student in a world in which they must apply their mathematical experience and knowledge to conceptualize a problem and search for objects and tools that help them solve it. In development, an agile rapid prototyping methodology was used. The game was validated through a satisfaction survey that shows that 95% of the respondents liked the game and that it could be used by students and teachers. This type of games become an alternative tool to learn, mainly, in times of pandemic. Keywords: Challenge-based learning, educational computing, serious games
