This law article is written in order to determine the implication of abrogated law number 7 year 2004 on water resource into government\u27s water management company and private\u27s water management company, in this case is PDAM Kota Surakarta and PT Tirta Investama Klaten. The writer using empirical research which tries to identify law that live in society based on fact that happen in the location, and the writer got the answer by interviewing the head of legal unit PDAM Kota Surakarta and HRD manager PT Tirta Investama Klaten. Implication of abrogated law number 7 year 2004 on the Government is the legislation as rules of law implementation water management does not apply, so as a legal umbrella reintroduced Irrigation and molded Government Law No. 121 and 122 in 2015 as an implementing regulation of the law on water resources. Both the Government Law is to restore the priority right to control and exploit the water resources to the country\u27s state and public enterprises. Regulation No. 121 Year 2015 on Exploitation of Water Resources regulates the private company that will run the business in the field of water resources must cooperate with State or local government in the region, while private companies are already doing business in the field of water resources before Law of water resources canceled still run the business until the contract expires, and if it will be extended to refer to the latest rules on water resources. Many important things are not regulated by the Water Act, therefore the government should immediately prepare a draft water resource management was good and ideally suited to the concept of domination and exploitation of water resources by the State

Lexical processing of ambiguous words: dominance or associative strength?

Four experiments examined the role of meaning frequency (dominance) and associative strength (measured by associative norms) in the processing of ambiguous words in isolation. Participants made lexical decisions to targets words that were associates of the more frequent (dominant) or less frequent (subordinate) meaning of a homograph prime. The first two experiments investigated the role of associative strength at long SOAs (Stimulus Onset Asynchrony) (750 ms.), showing that meaning is facilitated by the targets’ associative strength and not by their dominance. The last two experiments traced the role associativestrength at short SOAs (250 ms), showing that the manipulation of the associative strength has no effect in the semantic priming. The conclusions are: on the one hand, semantic priming for homographs is due to associative strength manipulations at long SOAs. On the other hand, the manipulation of the associative strength has no effect when automatic processes (short SOAs) are engaged for homographs.

Introduction: Although clinical trials have shown the efficacy and safety of allergen-specific immunotherapy (AIT) in the treatment of allergic asthma, there is a need for real-life studies. We aimed to assess the effectiveness and safety of a microcrystalline tyrosine-adjuvanted Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus allergoid (Acarovac Plus (R)) in patients with house dust mite (HDM)-induced allergic asthma in a real-life study. Methods: A subanalysis of a multicenter, prospective, observational, real-life study. Patients with rhinitis and allergic asthma caused by HDMs were assessed before AIT with Acarovac Plus (R) and at 6 and 12 months after this treatment. Assessment parameters were percentage of days with asthma symptoms, percentage of days on asthma medication, classification of asthma according to Spanish guidelines for the management of asthma, asthma-related quality of life (quality of life in adults with asthma questionnaire [QLAAQ]), perception of symptoms (visual analog scale [VAS]), and treatment satisfaction (treatment satisfaction questionnaire for medication [TSQM]). Safety was assessed by the number and severity of adverse reactions. Results: This subanalysis included 55 patients. Treatment with Acarovac Plus (R) showed significant differences in the analyzed variables when the baseline visit was compared with the 12-month visit: reduction of the mean (SD) percentage of days with asthma symptoms (23.9 [9.2] vs. 5.1 [12.8]; p = .002), of the mean [SD] percentage of days on asthma medication (67.6 [42.9] vs. 45.1 [46.8]; p = .002), and of the percentage of patients with persistent asthma (78.2% vs. 38.9%; p = .009). Acarovac Plus (R) significantly improved asthma-related quality of life, as shown by a decrease of 1.39 points in QLAAQ score at 12 months (p < .001), and in the subjective perception of symptoms on the VAS (-3.50, p < .0001). Patients showed high treatment satisfaction according to the TSQM, and it was well tolerated. No serious adverse events were reported. Conclusions: Acarovac Plus (R) was effective and safe for the treatment of patients with HDM-induced allergic asthma in a real-life study

The First aid service of the C.H.G.U.V. Nurse is provided with a staff of 84, a considerable part of them is new staff, and therefore there is a priority of making of performance protocols. The administration of intravenous medication is undoubtedly one of the most used techniques in patients who come to the emergency room, which in our Hospital ranges between 550-600 daily attentions. For this reason, we considered that carrying out group meetings in order to elaborate the present essay. Our main objective is to prepare an informative guidebook about the most common used medicines in our first aid service: indications, contraindications, dilutions, care, and recommendations on the use. In this sense it will contribute to see the practice in our work and the service quality that we give to our patients. Despite the effectiveness of allergen immunotherapy (AIT), some patients are unresponsive for reasons still unknown; yet validated response biomarkers remain unavailable. To analyze immunological parameters as biomarkers to monitor and predict clinical response to a MicroCrystalline Tyrosine-adjuvanted house dust mite (HDM) AIT in patients with allergic rhinitis (AR). Observational, prospective, multicenter study including adult patients (aged 18-65 years) with AR, with and without asthma, sensitized to the HDM Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (DP) and prescribed Acarovac Plus® DP 100% in the routine practice. Serum concentrations of total IgE, specific IgE, specific IgG4, IL-4, IL-5, IL-10, IL-13, and IFN-γ were compared between baseline and 12 months after AIT. The relationship between patients' baseline immunological profiles and classification as low, high, and non-responders and between their sensitization profile to DP allergens and effectiveness were analyzed. Of 141 patients recruited, 118 (mean [SD] age of 33.6 [9.5] years) were evaluable. One year after treatment, Der p 1-specific IgE, DP-specific IgG4, and IL-10 increased by a mean (SD) of 3.4 (13.6) kU/L (p = 0.016), 0.43 (0.55) mg/L (p < 0.0001), and 1.35 (7.56) pg/mL (p = 0.033), respectively. Non-responders showed increased baseline levels of IL-13 compared to high responders (p = 0.037). Changes in effectiveness variables between baseline and after AIT were similar regardless of the sensitization profile. Non-responsive patients to AIT showed increased baseline IL-13 concentrations, suggesting its value as prognostic biomarker. DP-specific AIT increased Der p 1-specific IgE, DP-specific IgG4, and IL-10 concentrations in patients with AR. All patients benefited from treatment regardless of their sensitization profile to major DP allergens

Rapid serial naming: Developmental trajectory and relationship with the Bangor Dyslexia Test in Spanish students

This study aimed to analyse the developmental trajectory of the accuracy and speed of naming among dyslexics and developing readers from 1st to 6th grade of primary education. It examined how familiarity with the stimulus influences the performance of different naming tasks in both groups and evaluated the link between naming speed and the Bangor Dyslexia Test. With a descriptive and correlational design, eight naming tasks and the Bangor Dyslexia Test (Miles, 1982; Outón & Suárez, 2010) were administered to a sample of 198 dyslexics and 245 developing readers. The results showed that the dyslexics were slower and more inaccurate in all the naming tasks, compared with the developing readers of the same age. Greater difficulty was observed with the less familiar stimuli. It became evident that naming performance improved with age among both groups of subjects. Finally, a greater number of significant and positive correlations were found between the naming tasks and the Bangor Dyslexia Test in the dyslexic group; the strongest relationship was obtained by naming lettersS

Salivary epidermal growth factor correlates with hospitalization length in rotavirus infection

The IFI27 interferon gene expression has been found to be largely increased in rotavirus (RV)-infected patients. IFI27 gene encodes for a protein of unknown function, very recently linked to epidermal proliferation and related to the epidermal growth factor (EGF) protein. The EGF is a low-molecular-weight polypeptide that is mainly produced by submandibular and parotid glands, and it plays an important physiological role in the maintenance of oro-esophageal and gastric tissue integrity. Our aim was to determine salivary EGF levels in RV-infected patients in order to establish its potential relationship with IFI27 increased expression and EGF-mediated mucosal protection in RV infection. We conducted a prospective comparative study using saliva samples from 27 infants infected with RV (sampled at recruitment during hospital admission and at convalescence, i.e. at least 3 months after recovery) and from 36 healthy control children. Median (SD) EGF salivary concentration was 777 (529) pg/ml in RV-infected group at acute phase and 356 (242) pg/m at convalescence, while it was 337 (119) pg/ml in the healthy control group. A significant association was found between EGF levels and hospitalization length of stay (P-value = 0.022; r(2) = -0.63). The salivary levels of EGF are significantly increased during the acute phase of natural RV infection, and relate to length of hospitalization. Further assessment of this non-invasive biomarker in RV disease is warranted.Instituto de Salud Carlos IIIXunta de Galicia. Consellería de Sanidad
