Dienstorientierte Architektur von Unweltinformationssystemen

Im vorliegenden Papier wird ein Vorschlag fuer ein Umweltinformationssystem vorgestellt, der darauf beruht, dass die Funktionalitaeten von Umweltinformationssystemen in Form von Diensten oder Aktivitaeten gebracht werden, die entweder in die taegliche Vorgangsbearbeitung eingebunden oder unter einer eigenen Benutzeroberflaeche zu einem Informationssystem klassischer Art zusammengebunden werden koennen. Dadurch erlangen wir neben der datenorientierten auch eine prozessorientierte Sicht auf Umweltinformationssysteme. Der so moeglich werdende Umgang mit Informationen und Daten entspricht dem von verteilten, heterogenen, aufgabenorientierten Anwendungssystemen mit einer starken Komponente zur Unterstuetzung kooperativen Arbeitens. (orig./SR)The paper presents a proposal for an environmental information system based on the following: the functionalities of environmental information systems are cast into the form of services or activities that either form part of daily operations or can be combined under a separate user surface into an information system of the classic type. This affords users not only a data-oriented view but also a process-oriented view of environmental information systems. Accordingly, items of information and data can be handled in a manner similar to that of distributed, heterogeneous, task-oriented application systems with a strong element of support for cooperative working.
