Generation of the Baryon Asymmetry of the Universe within the Left--Right Symmetric Model

Fermions scattering off first-order phase transition bubbles, in the framework of $SU(2)_L\otimes SU(2)_R\otimes U(1)$ models, may generate the Baryon Asymmetry of the Universe (BAU), either at the $LR$-symmetry-breaking scale, or at the weak scale. Search for B → μ μ And B0 → μ+ μ- Decays

A search for the rare decays B → μ μ and B → μ μ is performed in pp collisions at ps = 7TeV, with a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5 fb collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC. In both decays, the number of events observed after all selection requirements is consistent with the expectation from background plus standard model signal predictions. The resulting upper limits on the branching fractions are B(B → μ μ-) < 7:7 × 10 and B(B → μ μ ) < 1:8 × 10 at 95% confidence level

In this paper, we present the principal components of an economic scenario generator (ESG), both for the theoretical design and for practical implementation. The choice of these components should be linked to the ultimate vocation of the economic scenario generator, which can be either a tool for pricing financial products or a tool for projection and risk management. We then develop a study on some performance measure indicators of the ESG as an input for the decision-making process, namely the indicators of stability and bias absence. Finally, a numerical application illustrates the main ideas of the paper.
