The article deals with the actual issue of the specificity and algorithm of the introduction of innovative AR technologies in the process of psychological and pedagogical support of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). An innovative element of theoretical and methodological analysis of the problem and empirical research is the detection of vectors of a constructive combination of traditional psycho-correctional and psycho-diagnostic approaches with modern AR technologies. The analysis of publications on the role and possibilities of using AR technologies in the process of support children with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and inclusive environment was generally conducted by surfing on the Internet platforms containing the theoretical bases for data publications of scientific journals and patents. The article also analyzes the priorities and potential outcomes of using AR technologies in psycho-correction and educational work with autistic children. According to the results of the analysis of scientific researches, Unified clinical protocol of primary, secondary (specialized), tertiary (highly specialized) medical care and medical rehabilitation “Autism spectrum disorders (disorders of general development)”, approaches for correction, development and education of children with ASD, AR technologies were selected for further implementation in a comprehensive program of psychological and pedagogical support for children with ASD. The purpose of the empirical study is the search, analysis and implementation of multifunctional AR technologies in the psycho-correctional construct of psychological and pedagogical support of children with ASD. According to the results of the pilot study, the priorities and effectiveness of using AR technologies in the development of communicative, cognitive, emotional-volitional, mnemonic abilities of children and actualization of adaptive potential and adaptive, socially accepted behaviors are made. The possibilities and perspectives of using AR technologies as an element of inclusive environment, with regard to nosology and phenomenology, need further investigation

The article presents a pooled experience of the use of eribulin in the real clinical practice of treatment of metastatic breast cancer in Russian oncological institutions. The effectiveness of the drug in monotherapy with HER2‑negative breast cancer was analyzed, groups of patients with most effective use of eribulin were identified depending on the localization of metastases, the most effective lines of therapy. The effectiveness of the drug in combination with trastuzumab in HER2‑positive breast cancer is described, as well as toxic reactions.

BACKGROUND: We examined the associations between germline variants and breast cancer mortality using a large meta-analysis of women of European ancestry. METHODS: Meta-analyses included summary estimates based on Cox models of twelve datasets using ~10

Band gap engineering of Si-Ge alloys for mid-temperature thermoelectric applications

    Get PDF
The viability of Si-Ge alloys in thermoelectric applications lies in its high figure-of-merit, non-toxicity and earth-abundance. However, what restricts its wider acceptance is its operation temperature (above 1000 K) which is primarily due to its electronic band gap. By means of density functional theory calculations, we propose that iso-electronic Sn substitutions in Si-Ge can not only lower its operation to mid-temperature range but also deliver a high thermoelectric performance. While calculations find a near invariance in the magnitude of thermopower, empirical models indicate that the materials thermal conductivity would also reduce, thereby substantiating that Si-Ge-Sn alloys are promising mid-temperature thermoelectrics

Association of 5-HTTLPR Polymorphism with the Nursing Diagnoses and the Achievement of Nursing Outcomes in Patients with Major Depression

    No full text
The aim of this study is to investigate whether a 44-base-pair insertion/deletion polymorphism in the upstream regulatory region of the serotonin transporter gene (5-HTTLPR) is associated with the nursing diagnoses and the achievement of the desired nursing outcomes in inpatients with major depression. Thirty five patients were evaluated. The nursing diagnoses of risk for suicide and imbalanced nutrition are reported less often in homozygotes of the high-expressing gene (LA). Carriers of the low-expressing genes (LG or S) have a worse response to interventions which aim to increase low self-esteem, indicating that they may need more intensive care in order to achieve the desired outcome. Genetics in psychiatric nursing could help refine personalized care, however further studies with large sample sizes and multiple gene evaluations are needed. © 2017 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC

The effect of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease on the level of homocysteinemia and the condition of coronary vessels in patients with myocardial infarction

Objective: to study and compare the level of homocysteine with the results of coronary angiography in patients with myocardial infarction (MI) and concurrent chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).Subjects and methods. 246 patients with MI were examined. In 137 (55.7%) people, MI developed on the background of COPD, while in 109 (44.3%) patients MI was a single condition. Comparison groups consisted of 55 somatically healthy individuals and 50 patients with COPD. Enzyme immunoassay was used for testing homocysteine levels in plasma samples.Results. Stenoses of only one coronary artery (CA) with hyperhomocysteinemia were rare in patients in both groups (3.5% in patients with myocardial infarction and 3% in patients with myocardial infarction and concurrent COPD), multivessel diseases of CA statistically significantly prevailed. Lesions of 3 vessels or more were detected statistically significantly more often in patients with hyperhomocysteinemia with myocardial infarction and concurrent COPD. Among patients with myocardial infarction with hyperhomocysteinemia, patients with CA narrowing by 50-75% prevailed, and among patients with myocardial infarction with COPD and hyperhomocysteinemia, patients with CA narrowing by 75-99% and complete occlusion were statistically significantly more frequent. That is, in patients with myocardial infarction, concurrent COPD and hyperhomocysteinemia, more pronounced lesion of CA was observed, which was manifested by multivascular lesions, greater severity of occlusion and higher frequency of complete stenosis of CA
