Quantum Mechanics and Thermodynamics of Particles with Distance Dependent Statistics
The general notion of distance dependent statistics in anyon-like systems is
discussed. The two-body problem for such statistics is considered, the general
formula for the second virial coefficient is derived and it is shown that in
the limiting cases it reproduces the known results for ideal anyons.Comment: 9 pages, LATEX Kiev Institute for Theoretical Physics preprint

Fock Representations of Quantum Fields with Generalized Statistic
We develop a rigorous framework for constructing Fock representations of
quantum fields obeying generalized statistics associated with certain solutions
of the spectral quantum Yang-Baxter equation. The main features of these
representations are investigated. Various aspects of the underlying
mathematical structure are illustrated by means of explicit examples.Comment: 26 pages, Te
Noncommutative Fluids
We review the connection between noncommutative gauge theory, matrix models
and fluid mechanical systems. The noncommutative Chern-Simons description of
the quantum Hall effect and bosonization of collective fermion states are used
as specific examples.Comment: To appear in "Seminaire Poincare X", Institut Henri Poincare, Paris;

Coherent Ï0 photoproduction on the deuteron up to 4 GeV
The differential cross section for 2H(Îł,d)Ï0 has been measured at deuteron center-of-mass angles of 90° and 136°. This work reports the first data for this reaction above a photon energy of 1 GeV, and permits a test of the apparent constituent counting rule and reduced nuclear amplitude behavior as observed in elastic ed scattering. Measurements were performed up to a photon energy of 4.0 GeV, and are in good agreement with previous lower energy measurements. Overall, the data are inconsistent with both constituent-counting rule and reduced nuclear amplitude predictions
Search for jet extinction in the inclusive jet-pT spectrum from proton-proton collisions at s=8 TeV

The extinction model studied in this analysis is motivated by the search for signatures of strong gravity at the TeV scale (terascale gravity) and assumes the existence of string couplings in the strong-coupling limit. In this limit, the string model predicts the suppression of all high-transverse-momentum standard model processes, including jet production, beyond a certain energy scale. To test this prediction, the measured transverse-momentum spectrum is compared to the theoretical prediction of the standard model. No significant deficit of events is found at high transverse momentum. A 95% confidence level lower limit of 3.3 TeV is set on the extinction mass scale
