Communication and internationalization plan for Pinhal da Torre

A presente tese de mestrado é um projeto associado a uma empresa do sector vitivinícola, com o nome de Pinhal da Torre. Localizada em Alpiarça, na região do Tejo (aproximadamente a 90 km de Lisboa), esta empresa tem vindo a apostar desde o seu início na atividade vinícola, na expansão para mercados internacionais, deixando o Mercado português para trás devido à sua saturação. O seu sucesso tem vindo a crescer e a constante aposta em mercados internacionais e reconhecimento granjeado por parte de destacadas personalidades e organizações importantes desta indústria tem vindo a demonstrá-lo. Este projeto destina-se à elaboração e preparação de mais uma iniciativa de internacionalização em conjunto com ações de comunicação, desta vez para o mercado russo, uma vez que é um dos mercados com bastante potencial e cada vez mais procurado por empresas portuguesas. É um projeto baseado na realidade da empresa, com o objectivo de fomentar a sua imagem internacional e fornecer à empresa informações e conhecimentos não só a nível do mercado mas também a nível de estratégias de marketing, uma vez que é uma das lacunas. Todas as ações e estratégias desenvolvidas foram adequadas ao objetivo da empresa Pinhal da Torre, de forma a poderem ser postas em prática num futuro próximo.The present master’s thesis is a project associated with a company in vine sector, which name is Pinhal da Torre, and is located in Alpiarça in Tejo region (approximately 90 km from Lisbon). Since the beginning of vine activity, the company bet on expansion to international markets, leaving the Portuguese market behind due to his saturation. The success has been increasing and the constant bet on international markets and the recognition by important personalities and organizations in this area has shown it. This project is intended to development and preparation of one more internationalization initiative coupled with a set of communication actions, this time to Russian market, once is one of the potential and each time more requested markets by Portuguese companies. Is a company reality-based project, with the objective of projecting his international image and supply information’s and knowledge’s to the company not only at Russian market level, but also at the level of marketing strategies, which is a level that company has some barriers. In this way all actions and strategies developed were thought according to the objective of the company, in order to be applicable in a near future

Implementação de Processos RH em SAP

Nowadays, HR management is a vital element for any business area in the world. For large scale companies, having a central tool to execute and approve all personnel data changes (including hiring and transferring employees) allows them to easily keep data up to date and reduce costs; all of this by using a global standard process. The purpose of this dissertation is to prove how SAP HCM Processes & Forms (HCM P&F) can be used to create an interactive web application to manage all HR processes within a company (supporting any technology in the front-end) and how it compares to legacy applications that hold their own business logic instead of leveraging SAP ERP rules and functionalities. Consequently, this document will describe in detail an implementation of HCM P&F developed by Konkconsulting, to show how it stands out in comparison to other application models. This implementation is currently used by a multinational corporation and supports over 10 types of HR processes with 200 fields.Hoje em dia, a gestão de Recursos Humanos é um elemento fundamental para qualquer negócio no mundo. Empresas de média-grande magnitude necessitam de ferramentas centrais para gerir inúmeros processos (por exemplo: contratações, transferências e promoções), bem como facilitar as alterações de dados aos seus colaboradores. O facto de ter estes processos bem definidos permite comunicação rápida entre colaboradores, redução de burocracia e consequentemente, redução de custos. Este documento descreve um modelo de desenvolvimento, orientado a SAP, para a criação de uma aplicação MSS/ESS que permita atingir os objectivos enunciados acima. Para isto, será apresentada a framework SAP HCM Processes & Forms (HCM P&F) e demonstrado como esta pode ser utilizada para criar uma aplicação interactiva, que tire partido de todas as regras de negócio do ERP SAP – uma vantagem evidente sobre outros modelos de desenvolvimento. A solução apresentada está também preparada para suportar qualquer tecnologia de apresentação. A implementação deste modelo foi levada a cabo pela Konkconsulting para uma multinacional com um modelo de Recursos Humanos complexo. A aplicação é neste momento utilizada por milhares de utilizadores e suporta mais de 10 tipos de processos

Retention system for implant-supported dentures used by brazilian dentists who work in implant dentistry

Objective: To provide the dentists with support in the choice of the cement or screw type of retention for implant-supported dentures, according to the patient’s problem. Methods: An opinion questionnaire was applied to a sample of 468 participants, all dentists working in the field of Implant Dentistry, of whom 272 (58.1%) participated in the 4th International Congress of Osseointegration of APCD, held in São Paulo (SP) from 6 to 9 May 2004, 119 (25.4%) participated in the 2nd International Congress of Implant Dentistry of Minas Gerais, between 10 and 12 June 2004 and 77 (16.5%) were professors and specialization and master students from São Leopoldo Mandic. Results: The results showed that 254 participants opted for the screw-retained system while 214 opted for the cement-retained system. Conclusion: There was a preference for the use of the screw-retained system, and that both cemented and screw-retained systems have advantages and disadvantages, so that the dentist is left to decide and evaluate them in order to indicate and use them with confidence in different clinical cases

O clichê como artifício nas artes e na cultura midiática contemporânea

Neste artigo, propomos encaminhar uma discussão sobre o clichê que se afasta das leituras que o associam unicamente a uma perda de potência das imagens. Para tanto, buscamos recuperar as distinções entre os clichês e as imagens, a fim de demarcar as interseções e a própria permeabilidade entre tais conceitos. Nosso argumento é o de que os clichês podem operar como uma das formas possíveis do artifício nas artes e na cultura midiática, constituindo um importante recurso para o engajamento afetivo do espectador com as imagens. Ao longo da argumentação, as obras de Andy Warhol e Chantal Akerman emergem como dois pontos possíveis de intensificação do clichê como recurso estético

Carta de uma criança queer para outra criança queer: percursos espectatoriais desviantes na infância

Neste texto, tomando como premissa o consumo e a apropriação de repertórios audiovisuais que permeiam memórias pessoais e culturais, propomos produzir algumas articulações entre nossas infâncias queer, ambas vividas em territórios distintos e análogos (o interior cearense e o interior gaúcho) e clivadas em diferentes temporalidades que atravessam os anos 1980, 1990 e início dos anos 2000. Recorremos à forma das cartas como proposta de escrita dialógica e à teorização como dispositivo de memória, a fim de elaborarmos uma reflexão conjunta a respeito de experiências de formação marcadas por diferentes contingências, invenções e precariedades. Com isso, buscamos construir um senso de coexistência a partir dos engajamentos afetivos com as imagens e os sons, bem como traçar linhas que conectam crianças queer ao longo do tempo e do espaço

Tribological Behavior of Doped DLC Coatings in the Presence of Ionic Liquid Additive under Different Lubrication Regimes

Diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings are widely used in industries that require high durability and wear resistance, and low friction. The unique characteristics of DLC coatings allow for the possibility of creating adsorption sites for lubricant additives through the doping process. In this study, the combined use of europium-doped diamond-like carbon (Eu-DLC), gadolinium-doped diamond-like carbon (Gd-DLC), and pure DLC coatings and an ionic liquid (IL) additive, namely, trihexyltetradecylphosphonium bis (2-ethylhexyl) phosphate [P66614] [DEHP], with a 1 wt.% concentration in polyalphaolefin (PAO) 8 as a base lubricant was investigated. Higher hardness, higher thin-film adhesion, a higher ratio of hardness to elastic modulus, and a higher plastic deformation resistance factor were achieved with the Gd-DLC coating. The CoF of the Gd-DLC coating paired with the IL was superior compared to the other pairs in all lubrication regimes, and the pure DLC coating had a better performance than the Eu-DLC coating. The wear could not be quantified due to the low wear on the surface of the DLC coatings. The friction reduction demonstrates that tribological systems combining Gd-DLC thin films with an IL can be a potential candidate for future research and development efforts to reduce friction and increase the efficiency of moving parts in internal combustion engines, for instance.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

“Um bombeiro pede socorro!”: socialização, treinamento e sofrimento na formação bombeiro militar

Objetivamos neste artigo compreender a relação que se estabelece entre a cultura militarista e processos de socialização baseados no sofrimento na formação bombeiro militar. Para tanto, analisamos o caso da morte de um aluno soldado bombeiro militar ocorrido em 2016 na cidade de Cuiabá, Mato Grosso. Por meio de uma pesquisa qualitativa e documental, analisamos o relatório final do Inquérito Policial Civil (IPC)realizado, o qual apontou a prática de tortura por parte de uma instrutora (uma Tenente) de salvamento aquático. Concluímos que uma pedagogia baseada no sofrimento físico e psíquico encontrada nas Forças Armadas e Polícias Militares também faz parte da formação bombeiro militar, a qual não deve ter por objetivo os ideais da guerra.

Overexpression of water-responsive genes promoted by elevated CO2 reduces ROS and enhances drought tolerance in Coffea species

Drought is a major constraint to plant growth and productivity worldwide and will aggravate as water availability becomes scarcer. Although elevated air [CO2] might mitigate some of these effects in plants, the mechanisms underlying the involved responses are poorly understood in woody economically important crops such as Coffea. This study analyzed transcriptome changes in Coffea canephora cv. CL153 and C. arabica cv. Icatu exposed to moderate (MWD) or severe water deficits (SWD) and grown under ambient (aCO2) or elevated (eCO2) air [CO2]. We found that changes in expression levels and regulatory pathways were barely affected by MWD, while the SWD condition led to a down-regulation of most differentially expressed genes (DEGs). eCO2 attenuated the impacts of drought in the transcripts of both genotypes but mostly in Icatu, in agreement with physiological and metabolic studies. A predominance of protective and reactive oxygen species (ROS)-scavenging-related genes, directly or indirectly associated with ABA signaling pathways, was found in Coffea responses, including genes involved in water deprivation and desiccation, such as protein phosphatases in Icatu, and aspartic proteases and dehydrins in CL153, whose expression was validated by qRT-PCR. The existence of a complex post-transcriptional regulatory mechanism appears to occur in Coffea explaining some apparent discrepancies between transcriptomic, proteomic, and physiological data in these genotypes.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
