This study is done with the purpose of investigation the level of burnout and influencing factors on it. The method used is measuring or filed-finding, descriptive studies type and the statistic society is made of the entire official and non-official workers in the petrochemical industries national company in the year (2009) including 6901people in the main office and 12 subsidiary companies who are working. The estimation of the sample volume is made using the cochran formula by the volume of 1742 people and the accidental class and the domesticated form of the Maslach Burn Out Inventory has been used for gathering the dependant variant data of the study. In this study the relevance or effect of 20 independent variables on the burnout and its constituents was investigated. In the two variable tests, the emotional commitment had a reverse relation with burnout. So that with the increase of the interest and bind of the workers to the organization, the level of burnout decreased. In analyzing the step by step regression of the burnout according to the expected variables, 41percent of the explained burnout (R 2 =41%), and ranking the amount of the standard coefficient, the main elements like the nature of the job, emotional commitment, work environment, job security, coworkers, education, job type, salary and the premium and job independence in the remaining regression equation and on the burnout variable have been influencing.burnout, emotional commitment, job satisfaction, job motivation, job content.

Janus: An Uncertain Cache Architecture to Cope with Side Channel Attacks

Side channel attacks are a major class of attacks to crypto-systems. Attackers collect and analyze timing behavior, I/O data, or power consumption in these systems to undermine their effectiveness in protecting sensitive information. In this work, we propose a new cache architecture, called Janus, to enable crypto-systems to introduce randomization and uncertainty in their runtime timing behavior and power utilization profile. In the proposed cache architecture, each data block is equipped with an on-off flag to enable/disable the data block. The Janus architecture has two special instructions in its instruction set to support the on-off flag. Beside the analytical evaluation of the proposed cache architecture, we deploy it in an ARM-7 processor core to study its feasibility and practicality. Results show a significant variation in the timing behavior across all the benchmarks. The new secure processor architecture has minimal hardware overhead and significant improvement in protecting against power analysis and timing behavior attacks.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure

Foreign Trade and Economic Growth: Evidence of Thirlwall’s Law in Iran

    Get PDF
Thirlwall’s law establishes a relation between the long-run growth rate, the growth of exports and the long-run income elasticity of imports. This paper applies Thirlwall’s basic balance-of-payments constraint growth model to Iranian economic growth for the period of 1971-2007 by using Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) Bounds Testing approach. The empirical results reveal that import is cointegrated with relative price and income, and the equilibrium growth rates coincide with actual growth rates. However, our estimated findings reveal that the Thirlwall’s law has been rejected in Iran. In other words, balance of payment doesn’t hinder economic growth in this country. The reason may be due to the fact that Iran is a member of OPEC and its oil export plays a significance role in the country’s foreign trade

Abstract. Coincided with the advent of modernity in Iran, humanism-based realism was associated with the formation of a new wave of cinema in Iran. The works of Asghar Farhadi as the third-generation of the intellectual cinema in Iran, which is the pride of world-renowned festivals, includes the components that can be called humanistic realism. Human-centeredness as the nodal point of individualism, moralism, and minus God, is an exaggerated epresentation of the contradictory problems and ethics of the middle class of society, which is at the heart of the transition from tradition to modernity, and has raised the western utopia of modernism as an ideal community. Negatively representing the religion and the religious group in society, he seeks to promote freedom, individualism, common ethics minus religion, tolerance, relativism and feminist thinking in society. Emphasizing the problems of Iranian society in a realistic space, he seeks social critique on the axis of humanism. The present article deals with disourse analysis of the works of Asghar Farhadi as the most prominent intellectual filmmaker after the Revolution. Keywords: Humanistic Realism, Salesman, Separation, Intellectual cinema, Asghar Farhadi

The Six Sigma methodology has been established as a process oriented methodology with emphasis on outcome and effectiveness and seeks to improve the quality of the products, services, and processes. In our country, along with other countries, the industrial facilities and services have acted rapidly to exchange information with other organizations and industrial centers of the world with the high capability and implement it. This methodology has been used for one of the manufacturing companies “Shetabkar Co.” that supplies the car parts for Irankhodro Co. This study is a case study on the implementation of Six Sigma projects in Shetabkar Co., which includes introduction, history, and definition of Six Sigma from experts’ viewpoints about the Six Sigma quality and the role of the teams in the implementation of Six Sigma strategy and also a series of the research works that are relevant to this topic. Finally, 5 factors are selected as the effective factors in the implementation of Six Sigma and the relationship between these factors with the successful implementation of Six Sigma has consistency and validity due to the questionnaire and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test is applied and proven for the normality and the impact of each factor is individually analyzed and then a series of recommendations have been proposed for the successful implementation of Six Sigma projects

Geochemistry and statistical analyses of porphyry system and epithermal veins at Hizehjan in northwestern Iran

Situated about 130 km northeast of Tabriz (northwest Iran), the Mazra’eh Shadi deposit is in the Arasbaran metallogenic belt (AAB). Intrusion of subvolcanic rocks, such as quartz monzodiorite-diorite porphyry, into Eocene volcanic and volcano-sedimentary units led to mineralisation and alteration. Mineralisation can be subdivided into a porphyry system and Au-bearing quartz veins within andesite and trachyandesite which is controlled by fault distribution. Rock samples from quartz veins show maximum values of Au (17100 ppb), Pb (21100 ppm), Ag (9.43ppm), Cu (611ppm) and Zn (333 ppm). Au is strongly correlated with Ag, Zn and Pb. In the Au-bearing quartz veins, factor group 1 indicates a strong correlation between Au, Pb, Ag, Zn and W. Factor group 2 indicates a correlation between Cu, Te, Sb and Zn, while factor group 3 comprises Mo and As. Based on Spearman correlation coefficients, Sb and Te can be very good indicator minerals for Au, Ag and Pb epithermal mineralisation in the study area. The zoning pattern shows clearly that base metals, such as Cu, Pb, Zn and Mo, occur at the deepest levels, whereas Au and Ag are found at higher elevations than base metals in boreholes in northern Mazra’eh Shadi. This observation contrasts with the typical zoning pattern caused by boiling in epithermal veins. At Mazra’eh Shadi, quartz veins containing co-existing liquid-rich and vapour-rich inclusions, as strong evidence of boiling during hydrothermal evolution, have relatively high Au grades (up to 813 ppb). In the quartz veins, Au is strongly correlated with Ag, and these elements are in the same group with Fe and S. Mineralisation of Au and Ag is a result of pyrite precipitation, boiling of hydrothermal fluids and a pH decrease

Background: Cross-contamination between cells is a usual mistake at cell culture laboratories and cell banks worldwide. MRC5 diploid cell and Rk-13, Vero and Hela continuous cell lines are used in different stages of human viral vaccines propagation at Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute of Iran. However diploid and continuous cells are propagated at separated cell culture laboratory and continuous cells can contaminate MRC5 diploid cells. Therefore, a sensitive test is needed. World Health Organization recommends few molecular and cellular techniques to cell characterization. Materials and Methods: The present study was therefore designed to set up an indirect immunofluorescence (IIF) test as follows: Polyclonal anti-MRC5 cell and anti-rabbit antibodies were prepared in rabbit and goat, respectability. Anti-rabbit IgG was purified using protein G affinity chromatography, conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and then further purified to remove unbound FITC using Sephadex G 25 chromatography. Using double immunodiffusion assay, purification of homemade anti-rabbit IgG was asssayed by observation of a single arch. Results: The titer of homemade FITC conjugated goat anti rabbit IgG was measured 1/16 vs 1/8 of commercial type. Fluorescein/protein molar ratio of local made fluorescein goat anti-rabbit IgG was measured 3.44 and its protein concentration and FITC concentration were determined 1.198 mg/ml and 0.01 mg/ml, respectively. Conclusion: Moreover, homemade IIF test showed 100% intra-laboratory reproducibility. Purity of three batches of MRC5 working seed cell was verified using in- house IIF test and no contamination to continuous cell lines was found
