Regulation of the press in Santiago de Cuba: Sierra Maestra´s newspaper and CMKC´s radio station

This research is an approach to the press regulation´s system in Santiago de Cuba. Through this study the regulation´s manifestations are identified in the journalistic production´s process of two Mass Media of the province: Sierra Maestra Journal and the Radio station CMKC. The conceptualizations of reality and journalism professional practices serve as theoretical guide for this study, besides of the conceptions on the regulatory mark of the mass media. The methodological design identifies this investigation as descriptive and convergent in the quantitative-qualitative. Modelado matemático, simulación y control de una mini motocicleta autónoma con rueda de reacción

Se presenta el modelado, la simulación y el control de una mini motocicleta autónoma, estabilizada mediante rueda de reacción, que se utilizará para la enseñanza del diseño de sistemas de control. El modelo se construye a partir de un diseño CAD para posteriormente ser integrado en Simulink, junto con los módulos de control. Se realiza la modelización del sistema completo, incluyendo elementos mecánicos, sensores, actuadores, así como la dinámica de contacto de las ruedas con el suelo, consiguiéndose un comportamiento muy similar al de la motocicleta física. A partir del modelo matemático (ecuaciones diferenciales, funciones de transferencia y ecuación de estado), se diseñan un controlador PI para la velocidad, y varios controladores para la inclinación (PID, LQR y LQI). Los controladores han sido probados también en la motocicleta física.In this paper, the modelling and subsequent control of an autonomous mini motorcycle, which will be used to teach about control systems, is presented. The model is initially built from a CAD design and then integrated into Simulink, together with the control modules. The modelling of the complete system, including the mechanical parts, sensors, actuators and wheels behaviour with the ground is carried out, to achieve the same behaviour as the physical motorcycle. From the mathematical model (differential equations, transfer functions and state equation), a PI controller is designed for speed, and several controllers for inclination (PID, LQR and LQI). Comunicación intrafamiliar y conducta agresiva en estudiantes de secundaria de una institución educativa nacional de Piura

Esta investigación buscó: Determinar la relación entre la comunicación intrafamiliar y la conducta agresiva en estudiantes de secundaria de una Institución Educativa Nacional de Piura, el estudio de estudio fue de naturaleza cuantitativa, de nivel básica, de diseño transaccional no experimental, descriptiva – correlacional, la población la conformaron 120 estudiantes de tercero y cuarto de secundaria, la muestra fue igual que la población, para evaluar la variable comunicación intrafamiliar se utilizó la escala ECI de Arévalo, et. al (2013) y para evaluar la agresión se usó el cuestionario de agresión de Buss y Perry (1992) adaptada por Camacho (2018). Como resultados se obtuvo que existe correlación inversa estadísticamente significativa (p< .05) entre la comunicación intrafamiliar y la conducta agresiva, asimismo, se encontró correlación inversa estadísticamente significativa entre la dimensión comunicación afectiva, comunicación no verbal y la conducta agresiva (p< .01). Se concluye que la comunicación intrafamiliar afectiva y no verbal pueden ser considerados como factores de riesgo para la presencia conducta agresiva en los estudiantes evaluados

The perception of Engineering students toward teaching performance on online learning during COVID-19 pandemic

This study analyzed the perception of Mechanical Engineering and Systems Engineering students in the process of evaluating teacher performance in online teaching due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was descriptive-correlational research. The results showed that the Systems Engineering students performed a better perception with the class session management factor and low qualification to the didactic strategies factor. Likewise, the Pearson correlation test indicated a significant relationship (0.000) between the specific factors on the overall performance factor. The topic factor has the greatest strength on the qualification of the overall performance factor, with a constant Pearson's correlation of 0.964. The Mechanical Engineering students showed a better perception with the class session planning factor and low qualification to the didactic strategies factor. Likewise, the Pearson correlation test indicated a significant relationship (0.000) between the specific factors on the overall performance factor. The didactic strategies factor being the one that has the greatest strength on the qualification of the overall performance factor, with a correlation constant Pearson's of 0.983

Contribution of the HIV-1 Envelope Glycoprotein to AIDS Pathogenesis and Clinical Progression

In the absence of antiviral therapy, HIV-1 infection progresses to a wide spectrum of clinical manifestations that are the result of an entangled contribution of host, immune and viral factors. The contribution of these factors is not completely established. Several investigations have described the involvement of the immune system in the viral control. In addition, distinct HLA-B alleles, HLA-B27, -B57-58, were associated with infection control. The combination of these elements and antiviral host restriction factors results in different clinical outcomes. The role of the viral proteins in HIV-1 infection has been, however, less investigated. We will review contributions dedicated to the pathogenesis of HIV-1 infection focusing on studies identifying the function of the viral envelope glycoprotein (Env) in the clinical progression because of its essential role in the initial events of the virus life-cycle. Some analysis showed that inefficient viral Envs were dominant in non-progressor individuals. These poorly-functional viral proteins resulted in lower cellular activation, viral replication and minor viral loads. This limited viral antigenic production allows a better immune response and a lower immune exhaustion. Formative Assessment in Virtual Education: Systematic review

La evaluación formativa en la educación virtual juega un papel fundamental en el proceso educativo actual, siendo necesario conocer su desarrollo y aplicación debido a los cambios de modalidad educativa imprevistos. Este es el caso en el que el problema encontrado es que no existe. una forma única de realizar evaluaciones que permitan mejorar la calidad educativa. Siendo el objetivo de este encontrar las diferentes formas de llevar a cabo la formación de la evaluación académica a través de las investigaciones publicadas por otros investigadores. El método utilizado es PRISMA, que consiste en la búsqueda de artículos relevantes para dar respuesta al problema y dar respuesta a los objetivos, a través del análisis de los resúmenes de cada investigación. Como resultado se cuenta con 29 artículos pertenecientes a Dialnet, Scielo, Redalyc y Scopus, lo que permite tener mayor información sobre la evaluación formativa, encontrando coincidencias e ideas centrales que ahondan en el tema, así mismo, la discusión entre autores o investigadores llega a tener algo en común, es necesario decir que las evaluaciones formativas son necesarias a través de un proceso que permita a los estudiantes desarrollar conocimientos y habilidades. Se concluye que la evaluación formativa permite no solo valorar lo aprendido sino todo el proceso seguido; genera motivación en los estudiantes porque fortalece su autoestima y los hace perseverar en el desarrollo de sus actividades propuestas

En el presente trabajo, se busca formular un modelo de negocio para su implementación. Dicho modelo de negocio debe lograr cubrir una necesidad insatisfecha del público objetivo. Una vez encontrada la necesidad, se propone una alternativa de solución para la que hemos realizado múltiples experimentos con el objetivo de validar que la propuesta genera valor en el mercado. Por lo cual, hemos entrevistado a diversos usuarios y ejecutados experimentos de validación, obteniendo información necesaria para ir mejorando nuestra propuesta en función de los gustos y preferencias de nuestros potenciales clientes. Como resultado, hemos obtenido un aplicativo que logra brindar información relevante a partir de experiencias de otros usuarios, y de esta forma brindar al cliente un buen lugar gastronómico evitando malas experiencias y ahorro. También, se realizó un plan del concierge y simulación de las ventas, mediante el cual se validó la intención de compra del usuario. Esto llevado a cabo mediante 4 experimentos de marketing en redes sociales donde se pudo determinar el alcance de nuestra idea de negocio, la interacción del público con el contenido y el porcentaje de clientes que están dispuestos a acceder a una suscripción premium de nuestro proyecto. Finalmente se hizo un plan financiero, donde se hizo la proyección de las ventas para 3 años y se estableció el financiamiento adecuado para la idea de negocio. Lo que resulto que ADONDE COMER.PE es un negocio innovador y viable porque significara mayores ganancias que perdidas en un futuro.In the present work, we seek to formulate a business model for its implementation. Said business model must manage to cover an unsatisfied need of the public objective. Once the need is found, a solution is proposed for which we have carried out multiple experiments with the aim of validating that the proposal generates value in the market. For this reason, we have interviewed various users and carried out validation experiments, obtaining the necessary information to improve our proposal based on the tastes and preferences of our potential clients. As a result, we have obtained an application that manages to provide relevant information based on the experiences of other users, and thus provide the customer with a good gastronomic place, avoiding bad experiences and saving. Also, a concierge plan and sales simulation were carried out, through which the user's purchase intention was validated. This was carried out through 4 social media marketing experiments where it was possible to determine the scope of our business idea, the interaction of the public with the content and the percentage of clients who are willing to access a premium subscription of our project. Finally, a financial plan was made, where the sales projection was made for 3 years and the adequate financing for the business idea was established. Infestation assessment with Haematobia irritans in grazing cattle and stress behaviors in tropical regions

The objective was to evaluate the infestation with flies in grazing cattle, and its relationship with some behaviors (tail butting, head butting, kicking and rubbing) that alter animal welfare, through direct observation and use of photographs. At two times (7:00 and 14:00 h) the variables were measured on thirty naturally infested cows and randomly distributed in two treatments: TS: control without deworming and TD: chemically dewormed. The fly infestation were higher (P&lt;0.001) in TS cows (483.7 flies/animal), they also, expressed with greater intensity (P&lt;0.001) and frequency of upset behaviors: tail-tapping (10.84 movements/min), head-butting (1.66), kicking (0.51) and rubbing (0.33) in order to drive away the annoying contact and aggression of the ectoparasite. It is concluded that the greater the fly infestation, the movements that alter the welfare of the animals increase; however, more research is required to know the physiological welfare consequences that the infestation of this parasite implies.Objective: To evaluate the infestation with flies in grazing cattle, and its relationship with some behaviors (tail butting, head butting, kicking and rubbing) that alter animal welfare, through direct observation and use of photographs.
