In this work were studied the effects of shoulder geometry of tool on microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of friction stir welded
joints of AA1100 aluminum alloy using a milling machine. Three designs of shoulder geometry were evaluated with the aim to induce different
distributions of thermal cycles in welding regions. Thermal cycles were measured using thermocouples and a data system acquisition. A
microstructural characterization and crystallographic analysis of the welded regions were carried out using optical, scanning electron microscopy,
and electron backscattering diffraction. The mechanical properties were measured by transverse tension, guided bend and hardness tests. The
weldability behavior was established based on the experimental data. Results showed that the features shoulder tools produced an important
effect on the thermal cycles, generating a plasticized wide region and biggest grain size in stir zone when compared with flat shoulder tool.

As of seventeen (17) Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations General Assembly (2015) in New York [1], in Objective No. 2 corresponding to Zero Hunger, considerations on how to administer The supply chain for agricultural products has taken on such relevance, that at present there is talk of CSA - Agrifood Supply Chains [2].
The CSAs, for their analysis, involve the activities carried out in sequence, from the productive centers - farms - to the consumer's table, going through all the stages of activities of the typical supply chains
This work was carried out through the Food Design strategy, as a tool for the innovation of a food product, which is develpped from a consumer needs. With this research and strategy we seek to innovate in the market with a free- lactose Yogurt, its focused on people who is lactose intolerant in order to improve their quality of life and not affect their health; on the other hand, with this it would be possible that the requests of new products benefit the economy of the region, due to the generation of employment and the growth in the income of the agricultural and food sector
Annual Conference on Formative Research on EFL. Practices thar inspire change.
The conference papers of the Annual Conference on Formative
Research on EFL. Practices thar inspire change collect pedagogical
experiences, research reports, and reflections about social issues,
language teaching, teaching training, interculturality under the
panorama of the Covid-19 pandemic. Each paper invites the reader
to implement changes in their teaching practice through
disruptive pedagogies, reflect on the social and emotional
consequences of the lockdown, new paths for teacher training and
different approaches for teaching interculturality. We expect to
inspire new ways to train pre-service teachers and teach
languages in this changing times
Disease: A Hitherto Unexplored Constraint on the Spread of Dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) in Pre-Columbian South America
Although debate continues, there is agreement that dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) were first domesticated in Eurasia, spreading from there to other parts of the world. However, while that expansion already extended as far as Europe, China, and North America by the early Holocene, dogs spread into (and south of) the tropics only much later. In South America, for example, the earliest well attested instances of their presence do not reach back much beyond 3000 cal. BC, and dogs were still absent from large parts of the continent – Amazonia, the Gran Chaco, and much of the Southern Cone – at European contact. Previous explanations for these patterns have focused on cultural choice, the unsuitability of dogs for hunting certain kinds of tropical forest prey, and otherwise unspecified environmental hazards, while acknowledging that Neotropical lowland forests witness high rates of canine mortality. Building on previous work in Sub-Saharan Africa (Mitchell 2015) and noting that the dog’s closest relatives, the grey wolf (C. lupus) and the coyote (C. latrans), were likewise absent from South and most of Central America in Pre- Columbian times, this paper explores instead the possibility that infectious disease constrained the spread of dogs into Neotropical environments. Four diseases are considered, all likely to be native and/or endemic to South America: canine distemper, canine trypanosomiasis, canine rangeliosis, and canine visceral leishmaniasis caused by infection with Leishmania amazonensis and L. colombiensis. The paper concludes by suggesting ways in which the hypothesis that disease constrained the expansion of dogs into South America can be developed further
