Literatura y teatro: una experiencia de formación y de elaboración de materiales para el estudio

It is summarized an experience of teaching improvement belonging to the initiative of the University of Córdoba and carried out between 1999-2002, paying special attention to the last year, in which the resulting materials were computerized. As well as the initiation of a work group into the documentation skills. The project was focused on the creation of images to assist the teaching and learning of Spanish literature, and particulary the 17th-18th drama. The materials have been useful as a support in class, and after being printed and computerized they are thought for the individual use of students in their learning process.Se extracta una mejora docente acogida de la iniciativa de la Universidad de Córdoba y desarrollada entre 1999 y 2002, con especial atención al último año, con la adaptación a soportes electrónicos y virtuales de los materiales resultantes. Además de la iniciación de un grupo de trabajo en las técnicas de documentación, el proyecto se orientó a la elaboración de imágenes para el apoyo de la enseñanza y apendizaje de la Literatura española, y en particular del Teatro de los siglos XVII y XVIII. Los materiales de carácter instrumental han servido para el apoyo de las clases y su tratamiento y plasmación en soportes impresos e informáticos se han pensado para el uso individual del estudiante en su proceso de aprendizaje

Simulador de mapas autoorganizados de Kohonen

En este proyecto, se ha desarrollado una aplicación que permite trabajar con los mapas autoorganizados de Kohonen, uno de los modelos de redes de neuronas más utilizados en aprendizaje no supervisado. Aunque el funcionamiento de este tipo de redes está perfectamente descrito mediante ecuaciones matemáticas, no siempre es fácil entenderlo desde un punto de vista intuitivo. Una importante motivación para la elaboración de este proyecto era la de proporcionar información visual que permitiese entender intuitivamente el funcionamiento de este tipo de redes. La forma de hacerlo es mostrar gráficamente cómo se realiza el entrenamiento en situaciones muy sencillas: cuando los datos tienen solamente dos dimensiones. Esta es una forma efectiva de ayudar a comprender el comportamiento de estas redes y cómo influyen en el mismo los diferentes parámetros. Además, el usuario puede crear el conjunto de datos de entrenamiento fácilmente con clics de ratón, regular la velocidad a la que transcurre el entrenamiento y pausarlo si lo desea, configurar los parámetros, etc. Sin embargo, aunque didácticamente es algo muy útil, el entrenamiento con datos bidimensionales no sirve para resolver problemas reales, ya que en éstos los datos tienen más dimensiones. La aplicación desarrollada también es capaz de trabajar con más dimensiones, aunque sin proporcionar información visual sobre los datos. De esta forma, también es apta para resolver problemas reales e, incluso, realizar aprendizaje supervisado. Para esto último, la aplicación cuenta con la capacidad de realizar una calibración sobre el mapa una vez finalizado el entrenamiento. Esto consiste en tener en cuenta las clases de los datos para saber cómo de bien los clasifica el mapa, entrenado de forma no supervisada. En todo tipo de casos, el usuario podrá ver en una gráfica la evolución del error cometido por la red durante el entrenamiento, una vez que el mismo ha finalizado. Además, la aplicación puede utilizarse en diferentes sistemas operativos, siempre y cuando tengan instalada la máquina virtual de Java o JVM (Java Virtual Machine).In this project, an application has been developed to work with Kohonen Self-Organizing Maps (SOM), one of the most commonly used neural network models for unsupervised machine learning. Although this kind of neural network model is defined perfectly by mathematical equations, it is not always easy to understand from an intuitive point of view. An important motivation for the development of this project was to provide visual information to understand intuitively how this kind of network works. The way to do it is to show graphically how training is done in very simple situations: when input patterns are two-dimensional. This is an effective way to help understand the behavior of these networks and how the parameters influence. In addition, the user can create a training dataset easily with mouse clicks, adjust the training speed and pause it if he wants, configure parameters, etc. However, although didactically is very useful, training with two-dimensional data does not solve real problems because in those cases patterns are in a space with more dimensions. The developed application is also able to work with more dimensions, even though without providing visual information about data. Thus, it is also possible to solve real problems and even perform supervised learning. For the latter, the application has the ability to perform a calibration on the map after the training ended. Calibration is to take into account the classes of the patterns to check if map is classifying rightly. But map training is always unsupervised. In any case, the user can see a graph with the evolution of the error made by the network during training, once it has finished. In addition, the application can be used in many operative systems, if they have the JVM (Java Virtual Machine) installed.Ingeniería Informátic

¿Naturalizar la conciencia? Husserl y la tesis de la excepción humana

One of the key aspects in the development of the social sciences and humanities today is the adaptation of naturalistic approaches. Naturalists programs reject the status of the human that had traditionally defended philosophy holding that consciousness is reducible to a contingent fact and, therefore, can be understood from a purely objectivist approach. The French philosopher Jean-Marie Schaeffer calls this approach the “thesis of human exception” and argues that the phenomenology of Edmund Husserl is the latest example of this approach. Try to show that the anti-naturalism so characteristic of Husserlian phenomenology is sustainable despite criticism of Schaeffer. Here, looking briefly to explore the possibility and way of a naturalized phenomenology. Uno de los aspectos dominantes en los desarrollos de las ciencias sociales y las humanidades en la actualidad es la adaptación de enfoques naturalistas. Los programas naturalistas rechazan el estatuto de lo humano que había defendido tradicionalmente la filosofía al sostener que la conciencia es reducible a un hecho contingente y, por lo tanto, puede comprenderse desde un criterio meramente objetivista. El filósofo francés Jean-Marie Schaeffer llama a esta postura la “tesis de la excepción humana” y sostiene que la fenomenología de Edmund Husserl es el último ejemplo de esta postura. Trataremos de mostrar que el antinaturalismo tan característico de la fenomenología husserliana es sostenible pese a la crítica de Schaeffer. A través de la crítica que realizan Levinas y Henry a la visión intelectualista de la fenomenología desarrollada por Husserl, se plantea la posibilidad de una reformulación de la fenomenología clásica por medio de un regreso a una alteridad preteórica presente en la afectividad y la relación con los otros. Subvirtiendo el principio de la intencionalidad teórica se sugiere una post-fenomenología como denominación para esta no-intencionalidad

Aprendizaje-servicio en los grados universitarios de educación física: ejercicio físico con personas mayores

La sociedad actual demanda cada vez más una participación ciudadana con carácter social hacia colectivos en riesgo de exclusión social. La universidad, apelando a su responsabilidad social en el ámbito docente, debería facilitar dicha participación y fomentar en el alumnado la transmisión de valores tanto éticos como de concienciación hacia los demás. Un método pedagógico útil para cristalizar este compromiso firme con determinados colectivos que realmente lo necesitan es el «aprendizaje-servicio» (en adelante ApS). En este contexto, el presente estudio justifica la idoneidad y viabilidad de desarrollar proyectos de ApS con el colectivo de personas mayores dentro de los grados universitarios del campo de la Educación Física y el Deporte. En particular, se defiende la posibilidad de ayudar eficazmente al sector poblacional de las personas mayores en el ámbito de la salud, favoreciendo la formación en valores del alumnado desde un enfoque pedagógico práctico, competencial y motivador. En particular, se defiende que el diseño y desarrollo de proyectos en torno al ejercicio físico y la salud dirigidos a grupos de personas mayores constituye una estrategia motivante, innovadora y práctica para sensibilizar y concienciar al alumnado ante estos problemas y promover valores educativos

Oxyfertigation and Transplanting Conditions of Strawberries

Soilless growing systems can improve water-use efficiency, especially in closed soilless growing systems. The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of different transplanting conditions, and determine how supplying H2O2 as an oxygen source to the rhizosphere of strawberry plants in a soilless growing system affects plant growth, fruit yield and fruit quality. Strawberry plants (Fragaria x ananassa Duch.) cv. ‘Fortuna’ were cultivated in 12 L pots filled with peat substrate, and maintained under conditions of natural light and temperature. Treated plants were supplied with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) (H1) and control plants did not receive H2O2 (H0). In terms of the transplanting conditions, the plants were transplanted in October (T1), and either maintained in a culture chamber (T2), or refrigerated (T3), for one month, before being transplanted. A completely randomized block design with two treatment factors (transplanting conditions, and H2O2 treatment) and five replications was established. Then, we determined the fruit per plant, yield per plant (g plant−1), fruit weight (g fruit−1), fruit size (mm), SPAD values, crown number, crown diameter (mm), flower number, firmness (g cm−1), pH, total soluble solid (TSS), titratable acidity (TA) and TSS/TA. During the early crop cycle, there were not significant differences between treatment and the transplanting conditions that significantly affected the fruit weight and fruit size, although T3 produced the highest values. During the late crop cycle, the H2O2 treatment affected fruit per plant, yield per plant (g plant−1), and crown diameter, with H1 producing the highest values.
