    A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF STUDENT SATISFACTION LEVELS ON ONLINE LEARNING USING K-NN AND NAIVE BAYES

    Merebaknya pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia menyebabkan pembatasan aktivitas sosial manusia untuk meminimalisir penularan. Kegiatan belajar-mengajar juga terdampak ketika siswa harus tinggal di rumah dan mengikuti pembelajaran jarak jauh berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 21 Tahun 2020, kebijakan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB), yang dikeluarkan pada tanggal 31 Maret 2020. Hal ini mendorong munculnya aplikasi-aplikasi pendukung pembelajaran seperti Zoom, Google Classroom, Google Meet, E-Learning, dan masih banyak lagi. Namun, budaya belajar yang baru ini membutuhkan adaptasi agar dapat diimplementasikan secara efektif. Dalam proses adaptasi tersebut, peneliti ingin mengukur tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa dan mencari tahu algoritma terbaik untuk mengklasifikasikan tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa. Pengukuran ini menggunakan dua algoritma data mining yaitu K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) dan NaĂŻve Bayes, dengan mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau sebagai objek penelitian. Algoritme yang berbeda memiliki kekuatan dan kelemahan yang berbeda-beda dalam menangani jenis data dan tugas klasifikasi tertentu. Dengan membandingkan kedua algoritma tersebut, kita dapat menilai kemampuan generalisasinya. Sebuah model yang berkinerja baik pada data pelatihan tetapi gagal menggeneralisasi ke data yang tidak terlihat mungkin tidak seefektif algoritme yang lebih kuat yang menunjukkan kinerja generalisasi yang lebih baik. Klasifikasi K-NN dengan nilai k = 3 mendapatkan hasil yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa K-NN lebih optimal dalam mengklasifikasikan tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa dibandingkan dengan NaĂŻve Bayes dengan perbandingan akurasi sebesar 85% : 80%, precision sebesar 85% : 84%, dan recall sebesar 99% : 93%

    Self Esteem atau harga diri merupakan salah satu unsur kepribadian yang penting. Individu yang memiliki self esteem rendah akan kesulitan dalam mencapai tujuan hidupnya karena memiliki perasaan pesimis, tidak percaya diri, serta sulit menghadapi kegagalan. Sedangkan individu yang memiliki self esteem tinggi akan lebih percaya diri dalam melakukan sesuatu, optimis, dan tidak mudah menyerah. Oleh karena itu penting bagi individu memiliki self esteem yang tinggi, apalagi pada usia remaja. Karena usia remaja adalah masa peralihan, baik secara fisik maupun emosional sehingga tingginya harga diri dapat membantu individu tersebut dalam berjuang menghadapi fase perkembangan berikutnya. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui tingkat self esteem Santri Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Nurul Alami; (2) mengetahui perubahan tingkat self esteem sesudah diberi layanan informasi, dan (3) mengetahui efektivitas layanan informasi dengan dalam meningkatkan self esteem santri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan Coopersmith Self Esteem Inventory (CSEI). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 20 Maret 2022 sampai 25 April 2022, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 19 orang santriwati. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan: (1) kondisi self esteem santriwati di Ponpes Nurul Alami berada dikategori rendah dengan mean skor 32.5263 dan standar deviasinya 5.93828; (2) self esteem santriwati di Ponpes Nurul alami mengalami peningkatan berdasarkan hasil analisis data post test sebesar 37.0526 dan standar deviasinya 4.02042; (3) layanan infromasi efektif dalam meningkatkan self esteem santriwati di Ponpes Nurul, dengan hasil uji-t dengan signifikansi 0,004

    Analysis of Conflict in “ParaNorman” Movie

    This research aimed to explore and describe the types of conflict that occurred in the ParaNorman Movie. This research object was the ParaNorman movie, specifically its main character Norman Babcock. The instruments consisted of observation protocol and documentation. Data collection was through eight necessary steps, namely, 1) watch the movie, 2) download the script, 3) make sure the script and the movie were in line, 4) observe the conflicts, 5) identify the conflict, 6) note the conflict resolution, 7) summarize into the table of analysis and 7) analyze and describe the data in details. This research result showed that, in the ParaNorman movie, four conflict types existed such as 1) character-vs-self, 2) character-vs-character, 3) character-vs-supernatural, 4) character-vs-society. Consequently, it could be concluded that there were 4 types of conflict in ParaNorman movie

    A Comparative Study of Student Satisfaction Levels on Online Learning Using K-NN and NaĂŻve Bayes

    The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia led to restrictions on human social activities to minimize transmission. Teaching-learning is also affected when students must stay home and follow distance learning based on Government Regulation Number 21 of 2020, the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) policy, issued on March 31, 2020. This has led to the emergence of learning support applications such as Zoom, Google Classroom, Google Meet, E-Learning, and many more. However, this new learning culture requires adaptation for effective implementation. During the adaptation process, researchers want to measure the level of student satisfaction and find out the best algorithm for classifying the level of student satisfaction. This measurement uses two data mining algorithms, K-Nearest Neighbour (K-NN) and NaĂŻve Bayes, and the Islamic State University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau students as the research object. Different algorithms have varying strengths and weaknesses in handling specific data types and classification tasks. By comparing both algorithms, we can assess their generalization capabilities. A model that performs well on training data but fails to generalize to unseen data may not be as effective as a more robust algorithm that exhibits better generalization performance. K-NN classification with a value of k = 3 gets good results. Based on the study results, the conclusion is that K-NN is more optimal in classifying student satisfaction levels than NaĂŻve Bayes with an accuracy ratio of 85% : 80%, precision of 85% : 84%, and recall of 99% : 93%

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menstimulasi perkembangan anak usia dini pada Kegiatan mewarnai. Ruang lingkup yang diambil adalah menstimulasi perkembangan anak usia dini dengan Kegiatan mewarnai. Kegiatan mewarnai yang merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang disukai anak usia dini. Kegiatan mewarnai yang menyenangkan dan sederhana ini dapat membantu perkembangan anak usia dini karena Kegiatan mewarnai dapat dijadikan sebagai kegiatan mengekspresikan diri anak, mengenalkan perbedaan warna pada anak, meningkatkan konsentrasi anak, mengembangkan kemampuan motorik anak, melatih kesabaran anak, dan merangsang kreativitas anak sejak dini. Dengan melakukan aktivitas seperti Kegiatan mewarnai yang dapat menstimulasi perkembangan anak usia dini. Pada pengabdian ini akan dilaksanakan kegiatan mewarnai yang digelar dalam bentuk perlombaan. Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan di TK/SDIT Mutiara Azzahra di Desa Bintang Meriah, Dusun. V, Deli Serdang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik TK/SD IT Mutiara Azzahra. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan analisis data Penelitian dan Pembahasan maka diperoleh hasil bahwa menstimulasi perkembangan anak usia dini dengan Kegiatan mewarnai sangatlah berdampak bagi perkembangan anak termasuk pada setiap aspek perkembangan seperti kognitif, motorik, sosial emosional dan seni. Pada proses pelaksanaan kegiatan mewarnai melalui perlombaan terdapat beberapa pengalaman untuk peserta didik seperti melatih kesabaran, meningkatkan konsentrasi, fisik motorik, dan meningkatkan kreativitas anak. Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan perlombaan mewarnai meliputi kertas bergambar untuk diwarnai anak dan krayon untuk masing-masing anak. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian ini adalah bahwa orang tua Memahami pentingnya perkembangan anak pada setiap aspek perkembangan dan manfaatnya dari kegiatan mewarnai.     Studi Respon Imun Humoral Mencit, Tikus, dan Ayam terhadap Infeksi Toxoplasma Gondii

    Toxoplasmosis is a disease caused by the protozoan Toxoplasma gondii. T. gondii is an obligate intracellular parasite that is transmitted by congenital and acquisition. T. gondii can infect all warm-blooded animals and are zoonotic. It is estimated that more than a third of the world’s population is infected by T. gondii. Chicken is one of the animals that can be infected with T. gondii and plays an important role in the spread of this disease to humans because it is one of the animals used as a source of animal feed. Mice and rats are also play an important role in the spread of toxoplasmosis in the definitive host, especially in cats. T. gondii infection is usually asymptomatic, but in certain circumstances, such as when the host’s immune system is weakened, this parasite can cause serious illness. This study were aimed to determine the humoral immune response against T. gondii infection in mice, rats and chickens by serological Latex Agglutination Test (LAT) using Pastorex-Toxo® kit. Two weeks old broiler chickens were 8 heads, Wistar strain rats aged 8 weeks as many as 18 heads and strain Balb C mice aged 8 weeks as many as 13 cows used in this study. Animals were grouped into two groups, namely the control and infection groups. Mice, rats, and chickens were infected each with 103, 107 and 105 takizoit by intra-peritoneal injection. Blood samples were taken from the animals and infection control from day to-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 for mice, the to-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 for rats, and day - 2, 4, 14 for chicken by intracardia 3 ml, then put in a non-EDTA tubes and centrifuged at a speed of 10,000 rpm for 5 minutes to collect serum. The results showed a humoral immune response against T. gondii in rats began to appear on day 5 post-infection, chickens began to emerge the 2nd day post infection, whereas mice do not indicate a humoral immune response against T. gondii post infection

    Demonstrasi Eco Enzyme melalui Media Sosial dan Modul dalam Pemanfaatan Sampah Organik di Desa Kuok

    Kuok is one of the villages in Kampar Regency that has yet to utilize its household waste, both organic and inorganic waste. This activity aims to educate on processing and utilizing household organic waste into a multi-purpose eco-enzyme solution through social media demonstrations and modules in Kuok Village. The method of this activity is based on the YouTube channel of KKN-T IPB June-August 2021 Kamparkab02. The target training participants are the community, community organizations and leaders of Kuok Village, 100 participants with cell phone devices and YouTube, Instagram and WhatsApp applications. The theory part of the video is 12 minutes long, and the practical part of making eco enzymes is 3 minutes long. During seven days, there were 158 views out of the target of 100 views, with 23 likes out of the target of 50 likes, and the number of comments was 15 out of 30 comments. As many as 50% of the viewers are homemakers, 10% are village officials, and the rest are youth from Kuok Village. As many as 62.5% of people stated that the eco enzyme processing video was more effective than the module.     STUDENTS’ METACOGNITIVE STRATEGIES IN LEARNING ENGLISH (A Descriptive Study at Second Year Students of SMAN 5 Kota Bengkulu)

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan strategi metakognitif yang paling dominan dalam mempelajari bahasa Inggris dan aspek-aspek dari setiap strategi metakognitif yang paling banyak dilakukan yang digunakan oleh siswa tingkat dua SMAN 5 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 203 siswa dengan 50 orang dari para siswa digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan dua cara: mendistribusikan seperangkat item kuisioner dan mewawancarai 10% dari sampel. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa proporsi strategi metakognitif yang digunakan siswa adalah: 34.74% pada strategi dalam merencanakan aktivitas dan kebiasaan dalam belajar; 32.10% pada strategi dalam mengawasi proses belajar; dan 33.16% pada strategy dalam mengevaluasi pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil. Semua strategi metakognitif mendapatkan predikat “sedang”. Skor rata-rata dari setiap strategi adalah: perencanaan 3.32 dengan aspek yang paling sering digunakan adalah analisa kemampuan; pengawasan 3.07 dengan aspek yang paling sering digunakan adalah melihat aktivitas yang dilakukan teman dan menentukan apa yang harus dilakukan; dan evaluasi 3.17 dengan aspek yang paling sering digunakan adalah penilaian. Dari hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa-siswa menggunakan strategi metakognitif secara merata. Namun, strategi metakognitif yang paling dominan digunakan oleh siswa adalah strategi dalam merencanakan kegiatan dan kebiasaan dalam belajar
