    The research problem was the low critical thinking skills in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning among fifth-grade elementary school students due to the teacher’s suboptimal use of learning models. This study aimed to examine the effect of an audiovisual-based guided inquiry learning model on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in IPAS. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 21 students from class VB and 22 students from class VA. Data were collected through tests and non-test techniques, including observation, interviews, and documentation.     This research aims to prove the effect of classical guidance to prevent cyberbullying in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 04 Bengkulu City. This research method uses an experimental method with one group pre-test-post-test design. The population in this study was all class VIII of SMP Negeri 04 Bengkulu City, totaling ten classes. The sample for this research was class VIII.4, totaling 33 students, taken using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique used was a cyberbullying questionnaire with a Likert scale model. The research data analysis technique uses the t-test (paired sample test). The pre-test and post-test results decreased with an average value of 92.48 to 79.15. This means that there is a difference in the level of cyberbullying before and after being given classical guidance services. This can be seen from the results of the hypothesis tester with a t test result = 8.951 and a significant value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This means that the influence of classical guidance services is very effective in preventing cyberbullying of class VIII.4 students at SMP Negeri 04 Bengkulu City. This research suggests that guidance and counseling teachers use classical guidance services to prevent student cyberbullying.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh bimbingan klasikal untuk mencegah cyberbullying pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 04 Kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan one group pre-test-post-test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 04 Kota Bengkulu yang berjumlah sepuluh kelas. Sampel penelitian ini kelas VIII.4 yang berjumlah 33 siswa diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket cyberbullying denga model skala likert. Teknik analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji-t (paired sample test). Hasil pre-test dan post-test mengalami penurunan dengan nilai rata-rata 92,48 menjadi 79,15 ini berarti terdapat perbedaan tingkat cyberbullying sebelum dan setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan klasikal. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari hasil penguji hipotesis dengan hasil uji t = 8,951 dan nilai signifikan 0,000 (p < 0,05). Artinya terdapat pengaruh layanan bimbingan klasikal sangat efektif untuk mencegah cyberbullying siswa kelas VIII.4 SMP Negeri 04 Kota Bengkulu.     This research aims to describe the effect of group counseling services using behavioral rehearsal techniques on speaking anxiety of class VII B students at SMPN 17 Bengkulu City. This research method uses an experimental one group pretest posttest design method. The population in this study was class VII B students, totaling 29 students. The research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 5 students with high levels of speaking anxiety. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale with research data analysis techniques using a paired sample t-test. The results obtained in the research showed that before being given behavioral rehearsal technique group counseling services, students' speaking anxiety levels were in the high category and after being given behavioral rehearsal technique group counseling services, students' speaking anxiety levels were in the low category. There is a difference in speaking anxiety between before and after being given group counseling services using behavioral rehearsal techniques, which means that there is an influence of group counseling services using behavioral rehearsal techniques on speaking anxiety of class VII B students at SMP N 17 Bengkulu City. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian menunjukkan sebelum diberikan layanan konseling kelompok teknik behavioral rehearsal tingkat kecemasan berbicara siswa berada pada kategori tinggi dan setelah diberikan layanan konseling kelompok teknik behavioral rehearsal tingkat kecemasan berbicara siswa berada pada kategori rendah. Terdapat perbedaan kecemasan berbicara antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik behavioral rehearsal. Sehingga terdapat pengaruh layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik behavioral rehearsal terhadap kecemasan berbicara peserta didik kelas VII B SMP N 17 Kota Bengkulu

    Red chili occupies a strategic position in the Indonesian economic structure because its use applies to almost all Indonesian dishes. Therefore, controlling the price of red chili is a necessity to maintain national economic stability. The purpose of this research is to forecast a red chili weekly price using ARIMA and SSA based on the weekly data of chili prices from January 2016 - December 2019 sourced from Statistics Indonseia (BPS) Branch Office of Bengkulu Province. The data have been analyzed using software R. Based on MAPE, ARIMA K (2,1,2) provides the best forecasting with value 0.49% while SSA 10.64%

    [TERMITE DIVERSITY IN TEAK IN TULUNGAGUNG AND WONOGIRI REGENCIES]. Termites are insects that have a very high potential for damage to various stands such as teak. This study aimed to identify the diversity of termite species in teak stands in Tulungagung and Wonogiri regencies. Sampling using the transect method with a transect area of 10 m x 60 m and feeding with pine wood placed in five sub-districts in Tulungagung Regency (Kalidawir, Pucanglaban, Tanggunggunung, Campur Darat, and Ngunut) and five sub-districts in Wonogiri (Jatiroto, Jatisrono, Sidoharjo, Slogohimo, and Purwantoro). The results showed that at least four termite species were found, Macrotermes gilvus, Odontotermes sp., Microtermes insperatus, and  Nasutitermes havilandi. Termite diversity in Wonogiri was classified as medium with the highest H’ value (1.08), while termite diversity in Tulungagung was low with the lowest H’ (0.59). The dominance value of termite species in both districts was classified as medium and the evenness value in all observation locations showed an average high evenness index value. The results of the non-metric multidimensional scalling analysis showed that Jatiroto Subdistrict and Ngunut Subdistrict have a high level of species similarity (0.90).  [TERMITE DIVERSITY IN TEAK IN TULUNGAGUNG AND WONOGIRI REGENCIES].     The Effect of Shading Conditions and Mowing Frequency on Plant Diversity, Productivity, Soil Nitrogen and Mineral, and Mineral Profiles of Dominant Forages of Grazing Pasture

    The research aimed to study the effect of three different paddock management systems on nitrogen and mineral status of soil, plant diversity, and biomass production and to discuss the potential nutritional effects of macro mineral profiles of dominant forages on grazing cattle. The research was conducted in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) 3x4, consisting of 3 paddocks as treatments and four plots as replicates. The pasture was divided into three paddocks based on shading conditions and mowing frequency: P1: unshaded by trees and rarely mowed; P2: unshaded but regularly mowed; and P3: shaded by numerous trees and never mowed. Each paddock was divided into four plots based on plant density, with plant and soil samples collected at 17 sampling points per plot. Measured parameters included botanical composition, dominant species, dry matter, and macro mineral concentration of calcium, sodium, phosphorus, sulfur, magnesium, and potassium in the soils and dominant forages. The grazing pasture was inhabited by around 110 native plant species, dominated by Imperata cylindrica (19.6%), Axonopus compressus (16.8%), Mimosa pudica (12.1%), Digitaria sanguinalis (10%), Elephantopus mollis (9.0%), and Euphorbia hirta (8.5%). Biomass production ranged from 110–135 kg/ha/day, with a carrying capacity of 2.5–3.0 AU/ha (significant at p<0.05). Different mowing frequency and shading conditions influenced soil nutrient concentrations, forage diversity, and productivity. Considering requirements for growing cattle, the dominant species had a favorable content in Mg, K, and S but was deficient in P, Na, and Ca. In conclusion, the grazing pasture was populated by diverse native forage plants, and the dominant species were poor in several essential minerals of P, Na, and Ca, which are most likely to limit cattle productivity

    Implementation Of Presidential Regulation Number 78 of 2021 At The Institution Of Balitbangtan BPTP Bengkulu

    This study explores the implementation of Presidential Regulation No. 78 of 2021 on the transformation of BALITBANGTAN BPTP Bengkulu into the Center for the Implementation of Agricultural Instrument Standards (BPSIP). The organizational change involves restructuring, position adjustments, employee transfers, and changes in economic rights. The transition triggered mixed reactions among former BPTP researchers 47% chose to stay under the Ministry of Agriculture in BPSIP, losing their researcher status, while 53% moved to BRIN to maintain it. Using a qualitative approach, the study collected data through in-depth interviews with both groups, field observations, and document analysis. Findings reveal that resistance was driven by long-established organizational culture, job stability, and strong relationships at BPTP, while those accepting the change were motivated by career advancement opportunities at BRIN. The study highlights the need for effective change management, transparent communication, and job security to ensure successful institutional transformation and offers strategic insights for managing organizational change in government agencies.Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi Peraturan Presiden Nomor 78 Tahun 2021 tentang transformasi BALITBANGTAN BPTP Bengkulu menjadi Balai Besar Penerapan Standar Instrumen Pertanian (BPSIP). Perubahan organisasi tersebut meliputi restrukturisasi, penyesuaian jabatan, mutasi pegawai, dan perubahan hak ekonomi. Transisi tersebut memicu reaksi beragam di kalangan mantan peneliti BPTP, 47% memilih tetap berada di bawah Kementerian Pertanian di BPSIP, kehilangan status peneliti, sementara 53% pindah ke BRIN untuk mempertahankannya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kedua kelompok, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa resistensi didorong oleh budaya organisasi yang telah lama terbentuk, stabilitas pekerjaan, dan hubungan yang kuat di BPTP, sementara mereka yang menerima perubahan dimotivasi oleh peluang kemajuan karier di BRIN. Penelitian ini menyoroti perlunya manajemen perubahan yang efektif, komunikasi yang transparan, dan keamanan kerja untuk memastikan transformasi kelembagaan yang sukses dan menawarkan wawasan strategis untuk mengelola perubahan organisasi di lembaga pemerintah

    Enhancing Biotechnology Education through BioVate Competition: Increasing Conceptual Understanding and Science Communication in Science Education

    The goal of this study was to explore the effectiveness of implementing competition during a learning process to elevate motivation and science communication skills in a particular biotechnology education course among the third-year science education students at Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa using the BioVate competition, in which incorporates project-based learning (PjBL) within competitions during learning process. It is a unique model for competitive learning. A quasi-experimental model was employed on a sample comprising 67 undergraduate students. Students had no prior biotechnology training and the intervention lasted four weeks. It comprised problem identification and solving, solution development, as well as a culmination competition. In the assessment, significant changes with respect to motivation (mean 2.7 to 4.1, d 0.54) and comprehension (mean 8.7 to 18 out of 20, d 0.92) were noted in pretest-posttest analysis. In the observation, interview and document analysis, participants noted improvement with respect to good communication, articulation of complex ideas, increased self-confidence, and effective use of visual aids. The major premise of the BioVate model, the ability to tackle real problems (for example, the use of CRISPR technology for developing pest-resistant crops), was reported to have fostered intrinsic motivation and closed the theoretical-practical gap. These findings also support constructivist learning theory and self-determination theory by highlighting the impact of competition and collaboration on engagement. This new approach contributes to increasing comprehensive conceptual understanding in biotechnology and builds skills in future educators and science communicators to address societal issues with an interdisciplinary approach.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meninjau efektivitas penerapan kompetisi selama proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan keterampilan komunikasi sains dalam mata kuliah pendidikan bioteknologi tertentu di antara mahasiswa pendidikan sains tahun ketiga di Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa dengan menggunakan kompetisi BioVate, yang menggabungkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PjBL) dalam kompetisi selama proses pembelajaran. Ini adalah model yang unik untuk pembelajaran yang kompetitif. Model kuasi-eksperimental digunakan pada sampel yang terdiri dari 67 mahasiswa. Para mahasiswa tidak memiliki pelatihan bioteknologi sebelumnya dan intervensi berlangsung selama empat minggu. Intervensi ini terdiri dari identifikasi dan pemecahan masalah, pengembangan solusi, serta kompetisi puncak. Dalam penilaian, perubahan signifikan sehubungan dengan motivasi (rata-rata 2,7 menjadi 4,1, d 0,54) dan pemahaman (rata-rata 8,7 menjadi 18 dari 20, d 0,92) dicatat dalam analisis pretest-posttest. Dalam observasi, wawancara dan analisis dokumen, para peserta mencatat peningkatan dalam hal komunikasi yang baik, artikulasi ide yang kompleks, peningkatan kepercayaan diri, dan penggunaan alat bantu visual yang efektif. Premis utama dari model BioVate, yaitu kemampuan untuk mengatasi masalah nyata (misalnya, penggunaan teknologi CRISPR untuk mengembangkan tanaman yang tahan terhadap hama), dilaporkan telah menumbuhkan motivasi intrinsik dan menutup kesenjangan teoritis-praktis. Temuan ini juga mendukung teori pembelajaran konstruktivis dan teori penentuan nasib sendiri dengan menyoroti dampak kompetisi dan kolaborasi terhadap keterlibatan.     STUDI JENIS PAKAN ALAMI IKAN SEBUBUR (Ophiocara porochepala) DI PERAIRAN MUARA SUNGAI JENGGALU KOTA BENGKULU

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis makanan alami yang dominan dikonsumsi oleh ikan Sebubur (Ophiocara porocephala) di perairan Sungai Jenggalu, Kota Bengkulu. Sebanyak 50 ekor ikan Sebubur dikoleksi dan dianalisis melalui pembedahan untuk mengidentifikasi isi lambung serta mengukur panjang saluran pencernaannya. Dari 50 sampel ikan, 33 di antaranya memiliki isi lambung, yang terdiri dari krustasea (34%), kepiting (18%), siput (18%), kerang (6%), belalang (2%), ikan (2%), dan bahan yang tidak teridentifikasi (8%). Rata-rata panjang saluran pencernaan adalah 6,82 cm, sedangkan rata-rata panjang tubuh adalah 10,78 cm. Rasio panjang saluran pencernaan terhadap panjang tubuh sebesar 0,63 menunjukkan bahwa ikan Sebubur termasuk ikan karnivora. Hasil ini memberikan informasi penting terkait kebiasaan makan dan peran ekologi ikan Sebubur di ekosistem Sungai Jenggalu

    AKTIVITAS ANTIBAKTERI EKSTRAK KLOROFIL DAN BEBAS KLOROFIL DAUN SIRSAK (Annona muricata L.) TERHADAP BAKTERI Staphylococcus Aureus

    Pigmen klorofil pada daun memiliki kandungan sebesar 95% sehingga perlu dilakukan pemisahan karena dapat menggangu pergerakan senyawa fenolik dalam menghambat bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Klorofil daun sirsak mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder alkaloid, fenolik, dan tanin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak klorofil dan bebas klorofil pada konsentrasi 15%, 25%, 35%, dan 45% terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dengan metode difusi Kirby-bauer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak klorofil tidak berpotensi sebagai antibakteri sedangkan bebas klorofil daun sirsak mengandung golongan senyawa flavanoid, saponin, terpenoid, dan steroid memiliki aktivitas antibakteri sedang. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan terbentuknya zona hambat di setiap peningkatan konsentrasi 15%, 25%, 35%, dan 45% dengan rata-rata nilai zona hambat berturut-turut sebesar 1,65 mm, 3,75 mm, 4,65 mm, dan 7,7 mm
