Projeto "Data Me" : o design de informação na promoção da criatividade

Relatório da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, Mestrado em Ensino de Artes Visuais, Universidade de Lisboa, Instituto de Educação, 2019O presente relatório, realizado no contexto da prática de ensino supervisionada, do Mestrado em Ensino de Artes Visuais, decorreu na Escola Secundária de Cacilhas-Tejo, com os alunos do Curso Profissional Técnico de Design Gráfico. O projeto proposto aos alunos, intitulado de “Data Me”, foi a conceção de uma visualização de informação, através de dados pessoais dos alunos, em suporte de cartaz A3. Considerando que a criatividade possibilita combinar o pensamento divergente e convergente, contribuindo assim para a realização de produtos criativos, foram implementadas duas estratégias educativas: as aplicações do modelo Creative Problem Solving e da metodologia projetual em design, em concordância com os objetivos propostos da disciplina de Design Gráfico e do Projeto Educativo da Escola. Para além do enquadramento teórico sobre a criatividade e o design de informação, o relatório incluí, também, a descrição de toda a concetualização, fundamentação e concretização do projeto, seguida de uma análise e reflexão sobre os resultados.This report, developed in the supervised teaching practice of the Master in Teaching Visual Arts, took place at Cacilhas-Tejo Secondary School, with the students of Graphic Design Vocational Course. The project proposed to the students, entitled “Data Me”, was the creation of an information visualization, through personal data of the students, in support of a poster A3. Considering that creativity makes it possible to combine divergent and convergent thinking, that contribus to the realization of creative products, two educational strategies have been implemented: the application of Creative Problem Solving model and the design methodology, in accordance with the proposed objectives of the Graphic Design discipline and the School's Educational Project. In addition to the theoretical framework on creativity and information design, the report, also includes, a description of all the project's concetualization, foundation and implementation, followed by an analysis and reflection on the results

Constitutive deficiency of the neurogenic hippocampal modulator AP2γ promotes anxiety-like behavior and cumulative memory deficits in mice from juvenile to adult periods

The transcription factor activating protein two gamma (AP2γ) is an important regulator of neurogenesis both during embryonic development as well as in the postnatal brain, but its role for neurophysiology and behavior at distinct postnatal periods is still unclear. In this work, we explored the neurogenic, behavioral, and functional impact of a constitutive and heterozygous AP2γ deletion in mice from early postnatal development until adulthood. AP2γ deficiency promotes downregulation of hippocampal glutamatergic neurogenesis, altering the ontogeny of emotional and memory behaviors associated with hippocampus formation. The impairments induced by AP2γ constitutive deletion since early development leads to an anxious-like phenotype and memory impairments as early as the juvenile phase. These behavioral impairments either persist from the juvenile phase to adulthood or emerge in adult mice with deficits in behavioral flexibility and object location recognition. Collectively, we observed a progressive and cumulative impact of constitutive AP2γ deficiency on the hippocampal glutamatergic neurogenic process, as well as alterations on limbic-cortical connectivity, together with functional behavioral impairments. Os 16 artigos reunidos neste 11º número da Revista Matéria-Prima trazem a realidade operativa quer na formação de professores e quer na formulação dos discursos pedagógicos, suas justificações e suas propostas alternativas.As propostas apresentadas devolvem o debate ao terreno, e alargam-no. Provocam as periferias, convocam abordagens diferenciadas sobre o tema da arte e da educação. Characterisation of microbial attack on archaeological bone

As part of an EU funded project to investigate the factors influencing bone preservation in the archaeological record, more than 250 bones from 41 archaeological sites in five countries spanning four climatic regions were studied for diagenetic alteration. Sites were selected to cover a range of environmental conditions and archaeological contexts. Microscopic and physical (mercury intrusion porosimetry) analyses of these bones revealed that the majority (68%) had suffered microbial attack. Furthermore, significant differences were found between animal and human bone in both the state of preservation and the type of microbial attack present. These differences in preservation might result from differences in early taphonomy of the bones. © 2003 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved
