    El impacto de la pandemia de COVID-19 en la salud mental de los trabajadores de la salud en Chile: datos iniciales de The Health Care Workers Study

    Background: Healthcare workers’ mental health was affected by SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Aim: To evaluate healthcare workers’ mental health and its associated factors during the pandemic in Chile. Material and Methods: An online self-reported questionnaire was designed including the Goldberg Health Questionnaire, the Patient Health Questionnaire, (PHQ-9), and the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale among other questions. It was sent to 28,038 healthcare workers. Results: The questionnaire was answered by 1,934 participants, with a median age of 38 years (74% women). Seventy five percent were professionals, and 48% worked at a hospital. Fifty nine percent of respondents had a risk of having a mental health disorder, and 73% had depressive symptoms. Significant associations were found with sex, workplace, and some of the relevant experiences during the pandemic. Fifty one percent reported the need for mental health support, and 38% of them received it. Conclusions: There is a high percentage of health workers with symptoms of psychological distress, depression, and suicidal ideas. The gender approach is essential to understand the important differences found. Many health workers who required mental health care did not seek or received it

    Proyecto para mejorar patrón motor de marcha en jóvenes con diplejia espástica

    Tesis (Profesor de Educación Física, Licenciado en Educación)Según datos del Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas (INE), el 6,55% de la población total en Chile tiene alguna discapacidad física, entre éstas se considera la Parálisis Cerebral. La Clasificación Internacional del Funcionamiento de la Discapacidad y de la Salud (CIF) define la discapacidad como un término genérico que abarca deficiencias, limitaciones de la actividad y restricciones a la participación. Por otra parte se entiende a la parálisis cerebral como un trastorno crónico y persistente del movimiento y la postura debido a una lesión del Sistema Nervioso Central (SNC), de carácter no progresivo que lo afecta durante las etapas madurativas precoces del desarrollo cerebral (Smith, R.2014). A raíz de lo anterior es que el presente trabajo abarcará este tema, pero muy específicamente a la Diplejia Espástica, un forma de parálisis cerebral que consiste en una rigidez muscular que predomina en las piernas pero que también afecta –en menor medida– a la cara y los brazos, aunque el accionar de las manos puede ser deficitario. Se relacionará con la actividad física en adolescentes y de qué forma influye en esta enfermedad y su mejoramiento. Desde hace muchos años se conoce que el deporte o bien la actividad física en una persona conlleva a diferentes beneficios, tales como prevenir enfermedades cardiacas, combatir la osteoporosis, entre otros, y tiene efectos antidepresivos y sobre todo estimula la inclusión social. En una persona que tiene discapacidad esta herramienta es una pieza clave en su consolidación en la rehabilitación e integración a una vida mejor. Es por ello que en este trabajo se creó un proyecto que consiste en un plan de entrenamiento para mejorar el patrón de marcha, para personas con diplejía espástica, con una duración de 10 meses. El interés de crear este proyecto fue de aportar a un área en Chile poco conocida, como es el deporte y la actividad física en gente con distintos tipos de discapacidades, y poder evidenciar que el deporte es una herramienta como complemento a otras terapias. Este proyecto se llevó a cabo por futuros profesores de Educación Física en donde se analizaron cuáles son las manifestaciones de la parálisis cerebral, específicamente la diplejia espástica, y acorde a esto se elaboraron tareas por sesión de trabajo

    Metabolic Control of Dendritic Cell Functions: Digesting Information

    Dendritic cells (DCs) control innate and adaptive immunity by patrolling tissues to gather antigens and danger signals derived from microbes and tissue. Subsequently, DCs integrate those environmental cues, orchestrate immunity or tolerance, and regulate tissue homeostasis. Recent advances in the field of immunometabolism highlight the notion that immune cells markedly alter cellular metabolic pathways during differentiation or upon activation, which has important implications on their functionality. Previous studies showed that active oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria is associated with immature or tolerogenic DCs, while increased glycolysis upon pathogen sensing can promote immunogenic DC functions. However, new results in the last years suggest that regulation of DC metabolism in steady state, after immunogenic activation and during tolerance in different pathophysiological settings, may be more complex. Moreover, ontogenically distinct DC subsets show different functional specializations to control T cell responses. It is, thus, relevant how metabolism influences DC differentiation and plasticity, and what potential metabolic differences exist among DC subsets. Better understanding of the emerging connection between metabolic adaptions and functional DC specification will likely allow the development of therapeutic strategies to manipulate immune responses

    Predmet je rada komunikacijski plan agencije za nekretnine u nastajanju. Uvodno poglavlje rada bavi se teorijom planiranja komunikacije, komunikacijskim planom te dijelovima komunikacijskog plana. U tim je dijelovima rada naglašena važnost planiranja komunikacije. Sljedeće poglavlje rada bavi se djelokrugom agencija za nekretnine te komunikacijom agencija za nekretnine. Prije izrade prijedloga komunikacijskog plana bilo je potrebno provesti istraživanje, tj. analizu tržišta. Analiza tržišta provedena je analizom brojnosti agencija za nekretnine, analizom sadržaja web stranica, analizom sadržaja društvenih mreža te analizom objava u medijima. Na temelju podataka iz teorijskog dijela rada te provedenog istraživanja tržišta, napravljen je prijedlog komunikacijskog plana agencije za nekretnine u nastajanju. U prijedlogu komunikacijskog plana jasno su dane smjernice kako bi agencija za nekretnine u nastajanju trebala postaviti komunikaciju s ciljanim javnostima te u konačnici ostvariti svoje komunikacijske ciljeve. U zaključku su sažeti rezultati rada tako da se odnose na postavljene ciljeve rada te jesu li dobiveni odgovori na postavljena istraživačka pitanja. Rad može poslužiti kao komunikacijski plan stvarne agencije za nekretnine i pomoći u realizaciji poduzetničkog pothvata.The topic of this paper is the communication plan of an emerging real estate agency. The introduction chapter of the paper deals with the theory of communication planning, the communication plan and parts of the communication plan. These parts of the paper emphasize the importance of communication planning. The following chapter of the paper deals with the area of activity of real estate agencies and the communication of real estate agencies. Before creating a communication plan proposal, it was necessary to conduct research, i.e., the market analysis. The market analysis was carried out by analysing the number of real estate agencies, the content of websites, the content of social networks and media publications. The communication plan proposal concerning the emerging real estate agency was created on the basis of data provided in the theoretical part of the paper and the conducted market research. The communication plan proposal clearly gives guidelines on how the emerging real estate agency should set up communication with the target public and ultimately achieve its communication goals. The conclusion summarizes the results of the paper so that they relate to the set goals of the paper and indicate whether the answers to the research questions have been obtained. This paper can serve as a communication plan of a real estate agency and help in the realization of an entrepreneurial venture

    Predmet ovog rada je analiza poslovnog modela destinacijske menadžment kompanije specijalizirane za enogastronomsku ponudu Istre. U prikazu nekoliko vrsta i načina analiziranja vanjskog okruženja stavljen je naglasak na važnost i potrebu provedbi takvih analiza u današnjem dinamičnom poslovnom svijetu. Primjenom SWOT analize na slučaju destinacijske menadžment kompanije kao i izradom posebne SWOT analize za tržišnu nišu na koju destinacijska menadžment kompanija cilja, ukazano je trenutno stanje na tržištu te prednosti i slabosti poslovanja destinacijske menadžment kompanije kao i njezine prilike i prijetnje, sve u svrhu dobivanja informacija za izradu platna poslovnog modela te boljeg prepoznavanja pozicije destinacijske menadžment kompanije na tržištu. Potom su pomoću platna poslovnog modela analizirani svi njegovi elementi. Opisan je svaki element platna poslovnog modela te objašnjen je pristup destinacijske menadžment kompanije specijalizirane za enogastronomsku ponudu Istre svakom od tih elemenata. Ovaj rad može poslužiti kao polazna točka za izradu poslovnog plana destinacijske menadžment kompanije specijalizirane za enogastronomsku ponudu Istre te kao izvor informacija turističkim agencijama i raznim drugim poslovnim subjektima koji se bave turizmom i enogastronomijom na području Istre.The subject of this paper is the analysis of the business model of a destination management company specializing in enogastronomic offer of Istria. Several types and ways of analyzing the external environment are explained in the introduction, while emphasis is placed on the importance and need to conduct such analyses in today’s dynamic business world. By applying SWOT analysis to the case of destination management company, the current market situation, the strengths and weaknesses of the destination management company as well as its opportunities and threats were presented. Also, a special SWOT analysis for the market niche targeted by the destination management company was made, all with the purpose of obtaining information for the development of the Business Model Canvas and better recognition of the position of the destination management company in the market. The Business Model Canvas served as basis for analyzing . Each of its elements is described and the relation of the destination management company specializing in the gastronomic offer of Istria to each of these elements is explained. This paper can serve as a starting point for the development of a business plan for a destination management company specializing in enogastronomic offer of Istria, as well as a source of information for travel agencies and various other business entities engaged in tourism and enogastronomy in Istria

    The project is justified by the need of the district of Jose Leonardo Ortiz in the province of Chiclayo to have a new retail market in the second largest commercial complex in the country and the most important in Northern Peru: The commercial complex of Moshoqueque; which will offer the user an adequate, secure, attractive and orderly infrastructure. In addition to the commercial activity, complementary activities are proposed, such as learning workshops, nurseries and multipurpose rooms, which will be included in a friendly environment that promotes recreational and training activities. Also, and in response to the needs of the user, the shelter-workshop is part of the architectural program of the project to give more dynamism and animation to the area. The point to investigate and expand in the present paper was how to transform a depressed space of the city into a nice one and provide a public space for the community.TesisEl proyecto se justifica en la necesidad que tiene el distrito de José Leonardo Ortiz -en la provincia de Chiclayo- de contar con un nuevo mercado de abastos del sector minorista dentro del segundo complejo comercial más grande del país y más importante del Norte del Perú: El complejo comercial de Moshoqueque; el cual, ofrecerá al usuario una infraestructura adecuada, segura, atractiva y ordenada. Adicional a la actividad comercial se proponen actividades complementarias, tales como talleres de aprendizaje, guardería y sala de usos múltiples, los cuales se verán incluidos en un espacio cívico amigable con el entorno que promueva actividades recreativas y de capacitación. Asimismo, y como respuesta a las necesidades del usuario, la vivienda-taller forma parte del programa arquitectónico del proyecto para darle más dinamismo y animación a la zona. El punto a indagar y ampliar en el presente trabajo fue el de cómo transformar un espacio deprimido de la ciudad para que sea amable con la misma y brinde un espacio público a la comunidad
