Las páginas tapiz hebreas a partir de sus textos

This essay examines the texts displayed in the form of micrography that are found in the carpet pages of two early Hebrew biblical codices, i.e. the Cairo Codex of the Prophets and the Leningrad Codex (B19a), in order to analyse their possible relevance with regard to evaluating and understanding the function of the Hebrew carpet pages. A reading of all those texts reveals a comprehensible content, which has not lost its functionality as a message transmitter. The reading also reveals that the kind of text most often used is that of the Masora. From these results, it is possible to conclude that the purpose of the carpet pages is both decorative and textual. The carpet pages play the same role as the manuscript margins: to hold the extratextual material concerning the sacred text.En este artículo se examinan los textos escritos en forma de decoraciones micrográficas que aparecen en las llamadas páginas tapiz de dos de los códices bíblicos hebreos más antiguos, el códice de Profetas de el Cairo y el códice de Leningrado (B19a), para analizar su posible relevancia en la evaluación y comprensión de las páginas tapiz hebreas. La lectura de estos textos revela un contenido comprensible, lleno de sentido, que no ha perdido su función como transmisor de un mensaje. También revela que el tipo de texto más usado es el de la Masora. Teniendo en cuenta los resultados, se puede concluir que la finalidad de las páginas tapiz es doble, decorativa y funcional. Estas páginas desempeñan la misma función que los márgenes de los manuscritos: recoger el material extra textual relativo al texto bíblico hebreo

The Aragonian type area revisited; comments on paleontology and stratigraphy

In a recent study of van der Meulen and coauthors, the fossil rodents Fahlbuschia, Pseudofahlbuschia and Renzimys from the Aragonian type area (Calatayud Basin, Spain) were synonimized with Democricetodon. On the basis of the relative chronology provided by Daams and coauthors in an earlier study, these authors construed two evolutionary lineages, distinguished by size. One of these lineages contains Fahlbuschia koenigswaldi (Freudenthal, 1963) and the other one Democricetodon moralesi van der Meulen et al., 2004 but, in view of their great similarity, we consider D. moralesi to be a synonym of F. koenigswaldi. The relative stratigraphic position of some fossil mammal localities is difficult to establish in the Aragonian type area because it is affected by folds and faults. Early studies of Daams and Freudenthal subdivided the local zone D into D1, D2, D3 and gave a scheme of the stratigraphy in which the fossiliferous locality Valdemoros 1A is considered to be older than Valdemoros 3B. But Daams and coauthors came to the opposite interpretation in a later study, and divided zone D in Da, Db, Dc, Dd. But, new field data presented here enforce the original interpretation in which Valdemoros 1A is older than Valdemoros 3B. This leads to the conclusion that the division of local zone D into Da to Dd has to be discarded, and substituted by the formerly proposed zonation D1–D3

Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) for improving the topic modeling of the official bulletin of the spanish state (BOE)

Since Internet was born most people can access fully free to a lot sources of information. Every day a lot of web pages are created and new content is uploaded and shared. Never in the history the humans has been more informed but also uninformed due the huge amount of information that can be access. When we are looking for something in any search engine the results are too many for reading and filtering one by one. Recommended Systems (RS) was created to help us to discriminate and filter these information according to ours preferences. This contribution analyses the RS of the official agency of publications in Spain (BOE), which is known as "Mi BOE'. The way this RS works was analysed, and all the meta-data of the published documents were analysed in order to know the coverage of the system. The results of our analysis show that more than 89% of the documents cannot be recommended, because they are not well described at the documentary level, some of their key meta-data are empty. So, this contribution proposes a method to label documents automatically based on Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). The results are that using this approach the system could recommend (at a theoretical point of view) more than twice of documents that it now does, 11% vs 23% after applied this approach

Characterizations involving conditional expectations based on a functional derivative approach

We introduce a notion of the derivative with respect to a distribution function, not relating necessarily to probability, which generalizes the concept of the derivative as proposed by Lebesgue (1973). The differential calculus required to solve the linear differential equation involved in this notion of the derivative is included in the paper. The definition given here may also be considered as the inverse operator of a modified notion of the Riemmann--Stieltjes integral. Both this unified approach and the results of differential calculus allow us to characterize distributions in terms of three different types of conditional expectations. In applying these results, a test of goodness-of-fit is also indicated. Finally, two characterizations of a general Poisson process are included, based on conditional expectations. Specifically, a useful result for the homogeneous Poisson process is generalized to a general context

Terminología masorética en la exégesis de Génesis Rabbâ (secciones «Bĕre'šîṯ» y «Noaḥ»)

This article examines eight examples of rabbinic interpretations of the first two sections («Bĕre'šît» y «Noaḥ») of Genesis Rabbah. Their commentary on the features of the text (plene or defective spelling, q ĕrê-kĕ tîb) uses a language similar to that of the masoretic notes. After verifying these examples in masoretic lists and treatises, the author analizes the function of these interpretations in the exegesis of the two sections. This research proves that the exegetical purpose of these examples is different from other interpretations of Genesis Rabbah based on peculiarities of the text.Este artículo examina los ejemplos de interpretaciones rabínicas de las dos primeras secciones («Bĕre'šît» y «Noaḥ») de Génesis Rabbâ, en los que se comentan las características del texto con un lenguaje similar al utilizado en las noticias masoréticas. Después de comprobar dichos ejemplos en listas y tratados masoréticos, se analiza la función de esas interpretaciones dentro de la exégesis de estas dos secciones. Dicho estudio ha permitido comprobar que la intención exegética subyacente en estos ejemplos es distinta de otras interpretaciones de Génesis Rabbâ, que tienen como base los detalles del texto

Autopercepción del profesorado de formación profesional en atención a la diversidad

En el presente trabajo se aborda el análisis de la atención a la diversidad en la etapa de Formación Profesional, acercándonos a la formación del profesorado desde sus actitudes y sus prácticas docentes. El estudio se realiza con un cuestionario estructurado construido ad-hoc, basado en otra herramienta, al no encontrar una específica para esta población. El resultado es un cuestionario con 56 ítems, respondido por 69 docentes de Formación Profesional, con una fiabilidad (Alfa de Cronbach) de 0,91. Debemos destacar que encontramos muy pocas investigaciones sobre el tema. Entre las conclusiones afirmamos que la formación en atención a la diversidad entre el profesorado de FP es escasa y que no se realiza formación permanente sobre el tema. También observamos que la deseabilidad social está presente en las respuestas relacionadas con la atención a la diversidad.The present paper deals with the analysis of attention to diversity in the Vocational Training stage, approaching the training of teachers from their attitudes and teaching practices. The study is carried out with a structured questionnaire constructed ad-hoc, based on another tool, since no specific one was found for this population. The result is a questionnaire with 56 items, answered by 69 Vocational Training teachers, with a reliability (Alfa de Cronbach) of 0.91. It should be noted that we found very little research on the subject. Among the conclusions, we affirm that training in attention to diversity among Vocational Training teachers is scarce and that there is no permanent training on the subject. We also observe that social desirability is present in the responses related to attention to diversity

Afectación nerviosa ocular en un modelo experimental de esclerosis múltiple

Objetivo: Determinar la afectación en la retina del modelo experimental de esclerosis múltiple crónica, así como la eficacia del tratamiento con ácido oleanólico. Además se pretenden analizar las vías de producción de especies reactivas de oxígeno en la línea de células ganglionares RGC-5 y su implicación en la apoptosis. Métodos: En los estudios in vivo se emplearon ratones C57BL/J6, divididos en 3 grupos: un grupo control, un grupo con encefalomielitis autoinmune experimental inducida con la glicoproteína de la mielina de oligodendrocitos y otro grupo de animales enfermos tratados con ácido oleanólico. Se sacrificaron cuando presentaban parálisis de las extremidades traseras o síntomas severos de la enfermedad, se extrajo el globo ocular y se procesaron las muestras para su posterior estudio histológico. En muestras teñidas con azul de toluidina se realizó el contaje de las células ganglionares y del espesor de la capa de fibras del nervio óptico. También se realizó la técnica de TUNEL para contabilizar las células ganglionares apoptóticas. En los estudios in vitro, las células RGC-5 fueron incubadas con inhibidores de enzimas implicadas en la producción de ROS, con el antioxidante NAC y con ácido oleanólico, y posteriormente estimuladas con peróxido de hidrógeno. Mediante citometría de flujo se realizó el análisis de la producción de peróxido de hidrógeno con la sonda DCFH-DA, de anión superóxido con DHE y de la presencia de células apoptóticas mediante la técnica Anexina-V.Máster en Investigación Biomédic
