L'esperit experimental de les falles innovadores de València

Els autors d¿aquest estudi han participat com a membres del Jurat de la primera edició de les Falles I+E (Innovació més Experimentació) de València, una iniciativa sorgida amb la intenció de consolidar l¿aposta experimental de les falles, més enllà de l¿estricta reglamentació imposada tradicionalment per la Junta Central Fallera. Aquesta primera edició de 2013 ha comptat amb la participació de set comissions falleres de la ciutat. La convocatòria per formar el jurat va sorgir de José Francisco Carsí, membre de la comissió de la Falla de la Mercè, el qual es va ficar en contacte amb el crític d¿art i president de la Reial Acadèmia de Belles Arts de Sant Carles Romà de la Calle. El professor d¿estètica va acceptar i va recomanar que per completar el comitè s¿havia de comptar amb professorat universitari amb experiència i capacitat per fer front al repte específic paltejat

ANÁLISIS DEL ESTADO, PROCESO DE CAMBIO E IMPLANTACIÓN DE MEJORAS EN UNA EMPRESA DEL SECTOR DEL MUEBLE FABRICANTE DE DORMITORIOS.

[ES] Este documento recoge el Trabajo de Fin de Grado realizado en una empresa del sector del mueble que se dedica a la fabricación de dormitorios, complementos y canapés. En primer lugar, se va a realizar una introducción a la empresa LD Camas de Diseño, tanto del sector en el que se encuentra como de la misma empresa. Tratando de explicar sin entrar en muchos detalles la situación que vive la empresa internamente y por supuesto a nivel geográfico. A continuación, se encuentra un capítulo teórico, explicando qué es el Lean Manufacturing y las herramientas que se van a aplicar en el trabajo. La intención en este capítulo es entender la forma de trabajar que tiene el Lean Manufacturing, que consiste en la mejora continua. Respecto a las herramientas se van a nombrar las más famosas y después se van a explicar más detalladamente las herramientas que se van a utilizar en este trabajo. Los dos capítulos que van a continuación son las herramientas de Lean aplicadas en la empresa y analizadas, en este caso se trata del Value Stream Mapping (VSM) y del SMED. En ellas se trata de explicar el objetivo por el cual se decide aplicar cada una y los resultados finales después de la realización de las mejoras. Se realiza un VSM sobre la línea de fabricación de cabezales y camas, dejando al margen el resto de los artículos fabricados. El SMED se va a aplicar a la máquina embaladora que se encuentra en la parte final de la línea. Por último, se explicarán las otras implantaciones de mejora continua que se han hecho, el motivo y sobre todo el objetivo que se busca con ellas. Estas implantaciones que se han realizado empiezan con un Layout y unos estudios de estanterías para poder realizar un cambio de nave industrial. También se ha implantado una herramienta llamada TOP5, que con ayuda de un Panel de Control sirve para mejorar la eficiencia de la empresa y aumentar la implicación de los trabajadores con la empresa.[EN] This document includes the thesis carried out in a company in the furniture sector that is dedicated to the manufacture of bedrooms, accessories, and canapés. First, there will be an introduction to the company LD Camas de Diseño, both sector in which it is located and of the company itself. Trying to explain without going into much detail the situation that the company lives internally and of course at a geographical level. Next, there is a theoretical chapter, explaining what Lean Manufacturing is and the tools that will be applied at work. The intention in this chapter is to understand the way of working that Lean Manufacturing has, which consists of continuous improvement. Regarding the tools, the most famous ones will be named and then the tools that will be used in this work will be explained in more detail. The two chapters that go next are the Lean tools applied in the company and analyzed, in this case it is the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and the SMED. They are about explaining the objective for which each one is decided to be applied and the results after the realization of the improvements. A VSM is made on the manufacturing line of heads and beds, leaving aside the rest of the manufactured items. The SMED is to be applied to the packing machine at the end of the line. Finally, the other implementations of continuous improvement that have been made, the reason and above all the objective that is sought with them will be explained. These implementations that have been made begin with a Layout and some studies of shelves to be able to make a change of industrial warehouse. Expectations and assessment of the critical thinking of engineering students of the Universidad Continental, Huancayo

El objetivo de este trabajo fue determinar el nivel de relación que tienen las expectativas y la valoración del pensamiento crítico de los estudiantes de ingeniería de la Universidad Continental. Para cumplir con este propósito se ha seleccionado una muestra de 168 estudiantes de ingeniería de la Universidad Continental; quienes participaron en una encuesta, haciendo uso de la Escala Motivacional de Pensamiento Crítico. Algunos importantes resultados muestran que por ejemplo, respecto a las expectativas del pensamiento crítico según edad, tienen una alta expectativa sobre el desarrollo de su pensamiento crítico los pertenecientes al grupo etario de 18 a 23 años; y sólo 7 de los encuestados manifiestas tener una baja expectativa. Asimismo respecto a la valoración del pensamiento crítico según edad, tienen una alta valoración sobre el desarrollo de su pensamiento crítico un total de 165 estudiantes; y una baja valoración sólo 3 de los estudiantes; los estudiantes que tienen una baja valoración tienen la edad de 18, 20 y 28 años respectivamente. En conclusión, el nivel de relación que tienen las expectativas y la valoración del pensamiento crítico es alta, positiva y significativa porque la chi-cuadrado calculado es 70, este valor es alta y positiva correlación y el p-valor es 0 por tanto es significativa. Reflexionar y mejorar las habilidades del pensamiento crítico implica juzgar cuándo uno está o no está funcionando bien, o qué tan bien o como sea posible, y también implica considerar las maneras de mejorar el desempeño de uno mismo en cuanto al pensamiento crítico.The objective of this work was to determine the level of relationship between the expectations and the assessment of critical thinking of engineering students of the Universidad Continental. To fulfill this purpose a simple of 168 engineering students of Universidad Continental has been selected; who participated in a survey, making use of the Motivational Critical Thinking Scale. Some important results show that, for example, regarding the expectations of critical thinking according to age, those belonging to the age, those belonging to the age group of 18 to 23 years have a high expectation about the development of their critical thinking; and only 7 of the respondents said they had a low expectation. Therefore, regarding the assessment of critical thinking according to age, a total of 165 students have a high rating on the development of their critical thinking; and a low rating only 3 of the students; the students who have a low rating are 18, 20 and 28 years old respectively. In conclusión, the level of relationship between expectations and the assessment of critical thinking is high, positive and significant because the calculated chi-square is 70, this value is high and positive correlation and the p-value is 0 therefore it is significant. Reflecting and improving critical thinking skills involves judging when one is or is not working well, or how well or as well as posible, and also involves considering ways to improve the performance in critical thinking

El constructo subjetivo de la figura de tentativa y su lesividad contra la impartición de justicia

No hay duda de que la figura de tentativa es un texto y un discurso jurídico constituido por dos constructos: uno objetivo y otro subjetivo. El constructo subjetivo al ser un fenómeno recreado por la inventiva humana es inaccesible por la simple observación o el razonamiento. Entonces, ¿cómo describirla y cuantificarla? Por estas razones la tentativa como proceso inconcluso de una conducta ilícita penal comporta un escollo en contra de la impartición de justicia. De modo que, para el investigador, esta figura jurídica constituye un delito en sí misma. Por lo tanto, se considera que debe ser castigada en concordancia con el bien jurídico que haya amenazado y no conforme a las aproximaciones de los hechos en contra del bien tutelado ni mucho menos basado en el criterio de magistrados cuyos razonamientos están contaminados por la subjetividad de sus conjeturas. Dicho de otro modo, la tentativa debe ser sancionado no por sus efectos sino en proporción al valor del bien jurídico que haya sido amenazado, de la forma en que fue intentado y en concordancia con otros presupuestos como los medios utilizados y la habitualidad del que intentó

A narrative review on the implementation of liquid biopsy as a diagnostic tool in thoracic tumors during the COVID-19 pandemic

Objective: In this review, we evaluate the role of liquid biopsy in managing lung cancer patients during the still ongoing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) healthcare emergency. Background: The novel influenza coronavirus (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus or SARSCoV-2) has upended several aspects of our lives, including medical activities. In this setting, many routine cancer diagnostic and therapeutic procedures have been suspended, leading to delays in diagnosis, treatments, and, ultimately, increases in cancer mortality rates. Equally drastic has been the impact of COVID-19 on clinical trials, many of which have been stalled or have never begun. This has left many patients who were hoping to receive innovative treatments in a limbo. Although, as of today, the introduction of drastic security measures has been crucially important to contain the pandemic, one cannot ignore the need to continue providing chronically ill patients all the health care they need, in terms of detection, prevention, and treatment. In these unprecedented times, liquid biopsy, more than ever before, may play a relevant role in the adequate management of these frail patients. Methods: we performed a deep analysis of the recent international literature published in English on PUBMED in the last six months focused on the impact of SARS-CoV-2 on the management of lung cancer patients, focusing the attention on the role of liquid biopsy. Conclusions: COVID-19 pandemic has significantly modified our lives and overall medical practice. In these unprecedented times, liquid biopsy may represent a valid and less time-consuming diagnostic approach than conventional tissue and cytological specimens

Transiting exoplanets from the CoRoT space mission III. The spectroscopic transit of CoRoT-Exo-2b with SOPHIE and HARPS

We report on the spectroscopic transit of the massive hot-Jupiter CoRoT-Exo-2b observed with the high-precision spectrographs SOPHIE and HARPS. By modeling the radial velocity anomaly occurring during the transit due to the Rossiter-McLaughlin (RM) effect, we determine the sky-projected angle between the stellar spin and the planetary orbital axis to be close to zero lambda=7.2+-4.5 deg, and we secure the planetary nature of CoRoT-Exo-2b. We discuss the influence of the stellar activity on the RM modeling. Spectral analysis of the parent star from HARPS spectra are presented.Comment: A&A Letters (in press), 5 pages, 2 figure
