The understanding of the people, the organizational environment and the culture of the institution itself, allow us to base the school organization on certain values. The Hall-Tonna model encourages the alignment of people's values with the values and vision of the organization. It helps the institution in making explicit tacit information, in giving individuals the knowledge of their own behavior and priorities, pointing to the values and type of leadership they seek and the one they put into practice. The type of leadership exercised will be the decisive element to strengthen or hinder the development of the shared values, which will propel the organization and its members to new common goals. This article analyzes and compares the leadership graphics of three groups with different levels of authority / government within an educational organization in the Region of Murcia: management team, stage coordinators and faculty member

The future demands the interdependence of independent people, far from accomplishment for the purpose of economic benefit and towards personal integration in the school. This is the age of coleadership, a shared responsibility, which implies the construction of a view that converges on individual, group and institutional values. The Hall-Tonna Model helps in the discernment and alignment of people's values with the values and view of the organization. It facilitates the organization's task of making tacit information explicit, endowing individuals with knowledge of their own behavior and priorities, pointing to the values and the type of leadership they seek and perform. This article analyze, and compare the Values and Leadership Maps of three groups with different levels of authority/government within an educational organization in the Region of Murcia: management team, stage coordinators and teacher

Accurate analytical and statistical approaches to reduce O-C discrepancies in the precessional parameters

The Hipparcos catalog provides a reference frame at optical wavelengths for the new International Celestial Reference System (ICRS). This new reference system was adopted following the resolution agreed at the 23rd IAU General Assembly held in Kyoto in 1997. Differences in the Hipparcos system of proper motions and the previous materialization of the reference frame, the FK5, are expected to be caused only by the combined effects of the motion of the equinox of the FK5 and the precession of the equator and the ecliptic. Several authors have pointed out an inconsistency between the differences in proper motion of the Hipparcos-FK5 and the correction of the precessional values derived from VLBI and lunar laser ranging (LLR) observations. Most of them have claimed that these discrepancies are due to slightly biased proper motions in the FK5 catalog. The different mathematical models that have been employed to explain these errors have not fully accounted for the discrepancies in the correc- tion of the precessional parameters. Our goal here is to offer an explanation for this fact. We propose the use of independent parametric and nonparametric models. The introduction of a nonparametric model, combined with the inner product in the square integrable functions over the unitary sphere, would give us values which do not depend on the possible interdependencies existing in the data set. The evidence shows that zonal studies are needed. This would lead us to introduce a local nonparametric model. All these models will provide independent corrections to the precessional values, which could then be compared in order to study the reliability in each case. Finally, we obtain values for the precession corrections that are very consistent with those that are currently adopte

This research aims to understand the opinions and experiences of students in education degrees about their skills to work with high-capacity students through virtual reality and experiential learning. Methodologically, the research maintains a quantitative descriptive design, since a test and post-test are carried out before the training, combined with qualitative aspects through interviews. There is a sample of one hundred university students from Turkey, Greece and Spain. The results help to know the different ways of classifying students with high abilities, which entails a diversity of plans, strategies and methodological principles according to the countries where the students are being trained. As for the future teachers, they state that they have low competence in the educational use of virtual reality tools, despite this, thestudents indicate that the binomial that makes up experimental learning and virtual reality has been a very positive methodology for improving their skills to work with students. The conclusions point to the fact that having carried out a new reference curriculum based on the theory of experimental learning, which makes use of virtual reality resources to be used in the training of teachers, seems to be a significant advance in the training of early Childhood and Primary Education future teachers

[EN] Background Engagement in exercise by haemodialysis (HD) patients has been shown to generate benefits both in terms of improved functional capacity and in the health-related quality of life. The use of non-immersive virtual reality (VR) games represents a new format for the implementation of intradialysis exercise. Some studies have shown that engaging in exercise for 6 months reduces the consumption of antihypertensive drugs and decreases the time spent admitted to hospital among individuals receiving HD treatments. The objective of this study was to evaluate changes in the consumption of healthcare resources and micro-costing for patients on HD who completed a VR exercise program. Materials and methods Design: This study is a secondary analysis of a clinical trial. The participants performed an intradialysis exercise program with non-immersive virtual reality for 3 months. The variables were recorded in two periods: 12 months before and 12 months after the start of the exercise program. Results The micro-costing analysis showed a significant decrease in the mean cost, in euros, for the consumption of laboratory tests - 330 (95% CI:[- 533, - 126];p = 0.003), outpatient visits - 351 ([- 566, - 135];p = 0.003), and radiology tests - 111 ([- 209, - 10];p = 0.03) in the 12 months after the implementation of the exercise program relative to the 12 months prior to its start. Conclusion The implementation of intradialysis exercise programs decreased the expenditure of some healthcare resources. Future studies could help clarify if longer interventions would have a stronger impact on these cost reductions.Funding was received from a research prize awarded by the nonprofit organization 'Fundacion Renal Tomas de Osma' as well as from a research grant (IDOC 17-19), a research project (FUSP-BS-PPC14/2017) grant from the Universidad Cardenal Herrera-CEU and a research project (PID2019-108814RA-100) from the Spanish Government 'Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovacion'.García-Testal, A.; Martínez-Olmos, FJ.; Gil-Gómez, J.; Villalón-Coca, J.; Ortiz-Ramón, R.; Cana-Poyatos, A.; García-Maset, R.... A series of bis-cyclometalated iridium(III) complexes of general formula [Ir(ppy)2(N∧N)][PF6] (ppy− = 2-phenylpyridinate; N∧N = 2-(1H-imidazol-2-yl)pyridine (1), 2-(2-pyridyl)benzimidazole (2), 1-methyl-2-pyridin-2-yl- 1H-benzimidazole (3), 2-(4′-thiazolyl)benzimidazole (4), 1- methyl-2-(4′-thiazolyl)benzimidazole (5)) is reported, and their use as electroluminescent materials in light-emitting electrochemical cell (LEC) devices is investigated. [2][PF6] and [3][PF6] are orange emitters with intense unstructured emission around 590 nm in acetonitrile solution. [1][PF6], [4][PF6], and [5][PF6] are green weak emitters with structured emission bands peaking around 500 nm. The different photophysical properties are due to the effect that the chemical structure of the ancillary ligand has on the nature of the emitting triplet state. Whereas the benzimidazole unit stabilizes the LUMO and gives rise to a 3MLCT/3LLCT emitting triplet in [2][PF6] and [3][PF6], the presence of the thiazolyl ring produces the opposite effect in [4][PF6] and [5][PF6] and the emitting state has a predominant 3LC character. Complexes with 3MLCT/3LLCT emitting triplets give rise to LEC devices with luminance values 1 order higher than those of complexes with 3LC emitting states. Protecting the imidazole N−H bond with a methyl group, as in complexes [3][PF6] and [5][PF6], shows that the emissive properties become more stable. [3][PF6] leads to outstanding LECs with simultaneously high luminance (904 cd m−2), efficiency (9.15 cd A−1), and stability (lifetime over 2500 h).Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO) of Spain (projects CTQ2014- 58812-C2-1-R, MAT2014-55200, CTQ2014-55583-R, CTQ2014-61914-EXP, CTQ2015-71955-REDT, CTQ2015- 70371-REDT, CTQ2015-71154-P, and Unidad de Excelencia Marıá de Maeztu MDM-2015-0538), European Feder funds (CTQ2015-71154-P), Obra Social “la Caixa” (OSLC-2012- 007), Junta de Castilla y León (BU033-U16), and Generalitat Valenciana (Prometeo2016/135

A classification of weak rocks for their use in road embankments

Weak or soft rocks are defined as those materials whose geomechanical behavior is between hard rocks and soils. According to Giambastiani (2014), weak rocks are classified as i) primary detrital, metamorphic or volcanic rocks; and ii) secondary or evolving rocks, after the physical-chemical alteration of former hard rocks. Furthermore, weak rocks are critical geological materials since they may present undesirable behaviors, such disaggregation, fissures by cracking, crumbling, low strength and stiffness, high plasticity, slaking, fast weathering, and irreversible volume, textural and mineralogical changes (e.g., Alonso and Alcoverro, 2004)
