    La moda puede parecer un tema superficial o banal, pero desde hace siglos ha formado una gran parte importante de la sociedad y ha tenido una influencia muy grande en la cultura de cada civilización. Las casas de moda con creatividad, ideas, potencial y colores han salido a flote con una muy poca inactividad en el área de publicidad ya que en la actualidad no existe una agencia de marketing que se dedique únicamente a dar publicidad al área de moda en la zona sur de Tamaulipas (Tampico, Madero, Altamira).La propuesta para la creación de una empresa de marketing sobre moda tiene como propósito manejar la publicidad de todas las casas de moda en la zona sur de Tamaulipas con diferentes tipos de estrategias. Los resultados determinaron que las personas que residen en Tampico, Madero, Altamira muy pocas veces han observado una publicidad de alguna casa de moda, además ellos consideran conveniente que hubiera más publicidad para que estén al día con los nuevos lanzamientos de las marcas importantes…los trabajadores  de las casas de moda comentaron que si están interesados en que haya una empresa que se dedique a manejar su publicidad con las diferentes estrategias (pasarelas, eventos musicales, otros

    El Sistema Nacional de Deporte creado por la ley 181 de 1995 ha sido tildado de incapaz para operar de forma articulada y cohesionada porque las instituciones encargadas de regular y organizar la práctica deportiva nacional lo hacen siguiendo objetivos distintos. Además, los recursos estatales se han orientado principalmente al montaje del deporte del espectáculo y competitivo en detrimento del deporte social comunitario, la recreación y la Educación Física. Este último hecho desconoce los preceptos constitucionales del fomento del deporte y la recreación como parte de la formación integral, es decir, como complemento en su formación educativa y como actividad fundamental para la conservación de la salud y la calidad de vida.Como resultado de la investigación realizada por el Grupo de Macroeconomía Aplicada y el Grupo de Investigación en Ciencias Aplicadas a la Actividad Física y el Deporte -Gricafde- , este documento pretende contribuir a la discusión nacional sobre el futuro del deporte colombiano a partir del análisis de dos aspectos: su marco normativo y su financiamiento.     COMPETITIVIDAD Y RENTABILIDAD DE BOVINOS EN CORRAL EN EL SUR DEL ESTADO DE MÉXICO

    La presente investigación se realizó en el sur del Estado de México durante el periodo de enero a junio de 2009, se basó en información proveniente de 24 productores de ganado en corral, clasificados en pequeños, medianos y grandes de acuerdo con el número de animales finalizados. La Matriz de Análisis de Política, fue el método utilizado y consiste en una serie de matrices de coeficientes técnicos y de precios de los insumos, con lo que se derivó la matriz de presupuesto privado. Los tres estratos de productores presentaron un coeficiente de rentabilidad privada, que variaron de 4 a 16 %. Asimismo, las relaciones de costo privado se situaron entre 0.50 y 0.79, lo que sugiere una alta competitividad. Para 2009 se concluyó que la producción de bovinos en corral permitió pagar el valor de mercado de los factores internos, incluyendo la tasa de retorno normal del capital, quedando un margen de ganancia positivo, por lo que la actividad fue rentable

    Standardized Classification of Aortic Arch Branching Patterns (SCAABP)

    Objectives. To review current anatomical classifications for the aortic branching patterns and propose a method for standardized classification of Aortic Arch Branching Patterns (SCAABP). Methods. Through a three-stage Delphi method, expert vascular anatomists in morphology design SCAABP to report trunks, branches, and laterality of aortic arch branching patterns. Results. SCAABP is a classification that includes 7 parameters (Number of branches, and 6 types of branches [braquiocephalic trunk, common trunk, common carotid, subclavian artery, vertebral artery, and ectopic arteries]). It can integrate all reported branching patterns and allows the classification of new or unreported patterns. The classification allows standardization for future comparison of results, and improvement of evidence-based anatomy. Conclusions. SCAABP is a standardized method for classifying anatomical variants of the aortic arch. It is simple, clear, and contemplates new variants. All reported classifications can be integrated

    Development of a Novel Ex-vivo 3D Model to Screen Amoebicidal Activity on Infected Tissue

    Amoebiasis is a parasitic disease that causes thousands of deaths every year, its adverse effects and resistance to conventional treatments have led to the search of new treatment options, as well as the development of novel screening methods. In this work, we implemented a 3D model of intestine and liver slices from hamsters that were infected ex vivo with virulent E. histolytica trophozoites. Results show preserved histology in both uninfected tissues as well as ulcerations, destruction of the epithelial cells, and inflammatory reaction in intestine slices and formation of micro abscesses, and the presence of amoebae in the sinusoidal spaces and in the interior of central veins in liver slices. The three chemically synthetized compounds T-001, T-011, and T-016, which act as amoebicides in vitro, were active in both infected tissues, as they decreased the number of trophozoites, and provoked death by disintegration of the amoeba, similar to metronidazole. However, compound T-011 induced signs of cytotoxicity to liver slices. Our results suggest that ex vivo cultures of precision-cut intestinal and liver slices represent a reliable 3D approach to evaluate novel amoebicidal compounds, and to simultaneously detect their toxicity, while reducing the number of experimental animals commonly required by other model systems

    Effectiveness and implementation of an online intervention (MINDxYOU) for reducing stress and promote mental health among healthcare workers in Spain : a study protocol for a stepped-wedge cluster randomized trial

    The World Health Organization has formally recognized that healthcare professionals are at risk of developing mental health problems; finding ways to reduce their stress is mandatory to improve both their quality of life and, indirectly, their job performance. In recent years, particularly since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, there has been a proliferation of online interventions with promising results. The purpose of the present study is twofold: to test the effectiveness of an online, self-guided intervention, MINDxYOU, to reduce the stress levels of healthcare workers; and to conduct an implementation study of this intervention. Additionally, an economic evaluation of the intervention will be conducted. The current study has a hybrid effectiveness-implementation type 2 design. A stepped wedge cluster randomized trial design will be used, with a cohort of 180 healthcare workers recruited in two Spanish provinces (Malaga and Zaragoza). The recruitment stage will commence in October 2022. Frontline health workers who provide direct care to people in a hospital, primary care center, or nursing home setting in both regions will participate. The effectiveness of the intervention will be studied, with perceived stress as the main outcome (Perceived Stress Scale), while other psychopathological symptoms and process variables (e.g., mindfulness, compassion, resilience, and psychological flexibility) will be also assessed as secondary outcomes. The implementation study will include analysis of feasibility, acceptability, adoption, appropriateness, fidelity, penetration, and sustainability. The incremental costs and benefits, in terms of quality-adjusted life years, will be examined by means of cost-utility and cost-effectiveness analyses. MINDxYOU is designed to reduce healthcare workers' stress levels through the practice of mindfulness, acceptance, and compassion, with a special focus on how to apply these skills to healthy habits and considering the particular stressors that these professionals face on a daily basis. The present study will show how implementation studies are useful for establishing the framework in which to address barriers to and promote facilitators for acceptability, appropriateness, adoption, feasibility, fidelity, penetration, and sustainability of online interventions.     Phase I prognostic online (PIPO): A web tool to improve patient selection for oncology early phase clinical trials

The aim of this study was to develop a user-friendly prognostic calculator for predicting overall survival (OS) outcomes in patients to be included in Ph1t with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) or targeted agents (TAs) based on clinical parameters assessed at baseline. Methods Using a training cohort with consecutive patients from the VHIO phase 1 unit, we constructed a prognostic model to predict median OS (mOS) as a primary endpoint and 3-month (3m) OS rate as a secondary endpoint. The model was validated in an internal cohort after temporal data splitting and represented as a web application. Results We recruited 799 patients (training and validation sets, 558 and 241, respectively). Median follow-up was 21.2 months (m), mOS was 10.2 m (95% CI, 9.3–12.7) for ICIs cohort and 7.7 m (95% CI, 6.6–8.6) for TAs cohort. In the multivariable analysis, six prognostic variables were independently associated with OS – ECOG, number of metastatic sites, presence of liver metastases, derived neutrophils/(leukocytes minus neutrophils) ratio [dNLR], albumin and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels. The phase 1 prognostic online (PIPO) calculator showed adequate discrimination and calibration performance for OS, with C-statistics of 0.71 (95% CI 0.64–0.78) in the validation set. The overall accuracy of the model for 3m OS prediction was 87.2% (95% CI 85%–90%). Conclusions PIPO is a user-friendly objective and interactive tool to calculate specific survival probabilities for each patient before enrolment in a Ph1t.     Deep learning denoising by dimension reduction: Application to the ORION-B line cubes

    Context. The availability of large bandwidth receivers for millimeter radio telescopes allows the acquisition of position-position-frequency data cubes over a wide field of view and a broad frequency coverage. These cubes contain much information on the physical, chemical, and kinematical properties of the emitting gas. However, their large size coupled with inhomogenous signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) are major challenges for consistent analysis and interpretation.Aims. We search for a denoising method of the low SNR regions of the studied data cubes that would allow to recover the low SNR emission without distorting the signals with high SNR.Methods. We perform an in-depth data analysis of the 13 CO and C 17 O (1 -- 0) data cubes obtained as part of the ORION-B large program performed at the IRAM 30m telescope. We analyse the statistical properties of the noise and the evolution of the correlation of the signal in a given frequency channel with that of the adjacent channels. This allows us to propose significant improvements of typical autoassociative neural networks, often used to denoise hyperspectral Earth remote sensing data. Applying this method to the 13 CO (1 -- 0) cube, we compare the denoised data with those derived with the multiple Gaussian fitting algorithm ROHSA, considered as the state of the art procedure for data line cubes.Results. The nature of astronomical spectral data cubes is distinct from that of the hyperspectral data usually studied in the Earth remote sensing literature because the observed intensities become statistically independent beyond a short channel separation. This lack of redundancy in data has led us to adapt the method, notably by taking into account the sparsity of the signal along the spectral axis. The application of the proposed algorithm leads to an increase of the SNR in voxels with weak signal, while preserving the spectral shape of the data in high SNR voxels.Conclusions. The proposed algorithm that combines a detailed analysis of the noise statistics with an innovative autoencoder architecture is a promising path to denoise radio-astronomy line data cubes. In the future, exploring whether a better use of the spatial correlations of the noise may further improve the denoising performances seems a promising avenue. In addition

    El aspecto de la práctica clínica ha sido abordado primeramente por la doctora Córdoba Basulto, desde la experiencia, y de manera muy breve profundiza en el ámbito de la Psicología de la salud, rescata y enfatiza el aspecto de la atención e intervención al paciente de urología, colocándolo en la parte de sujeto y no de enfermedad. Nuevamente señalando el trabajo multidisciplinario donde cada agente contribuye con la atención. Desde una perspectiva meramente clínica y específicamente con la experiencia del psicoanálisis, Márquez, Guadarrama, López y Huitrón nos permiten observar la postura de la adolescencia en el proceso terapéutico, indicando que la mejor forma de tratar a un adolescente no es lo individual, ni lo familiar, sino lo grupal.Este libro es una compilación de aportaciones que permiten observar el estado actual de la psicología en México, permitiendo vislumbrar los retos reales que no solamente tienen los alumnos que asumir en su formación profesional, sino todos aquellos que se encuentran laborando en esta basta disciplina. En este sentido, el mundo globalizado y el empleo exagerado de la tecnología se convierten en nuevas exigencias que propician a su vez nuevas formas, no sólo de atención, sino de estudio e investigación que le permitan la comprensión del comportamiento humano. La Psicología mexicana en los últimos años ha dejado de ser dogmática para convertirse en una ciencia amplia y de visión, lo que le ha permitido incursionar en nuevos campos de conocimiento como el de la psicología de la salud o de la psicología criminal. Es decir ha dejado de ser una psicología de diagnóstico y clínica para convertirse en una ciencia que asume al individuo como un ser social, complejo o bien como algunos ya lo han señalado como un ente psicosociobiológico

    Se estudian los regímenes selvícolas más adecuados para la utilización energética y maderable de las masas de pino carrasco (Pinus halepensis) del Macizo del Caroig, partiendo de los datos de un inventario LIDAR y de una revision bibliográfica amplia sobre la especie. Se proporcionan datos sobre los sistemas de aprovechamiento más adecuados, sus rendimientos y costes estimados para los distintos tipos de masas forestales inventariadas, se estudia la influencia de esos tratamientos sobre el riesgo de incendios forestales y se recomiendan prácticas para reducir su incidencia y gravedad a través de selvicultura preventiva e infraestructuras de defensa optimizadas mediante algoritmos basados en lógica fuzzy. Se proporcionan también datos sobre transformación energética y características de los combustibles
