We study sufficient conditions that guarantee exponential stability for the closed-loop system and illustrate our results via a numerical example
Quasi-Monte Carlo methods in robust control design
Digital Object Identifier: 10.1109/CDC.2003.1272985Many practical control problems are so complex that traditional analysis and design methods fail to solve. Consequently, sampling methods that provide approximate solutions to such difficult problems have emerged. In this paper we address the deterministic quasi-Monte Carlo method of sampling and attempt to impose bounds on the error involved in the evaluation of the quality of performance of a specific controller over the whole plant parameter uncertainty space.IEE
Inherent issues in networked control systems: A survey
Due to major advancements in the area of networking over the past decade, a new paradigm of control systems has emerged, namely networked control systems. Such systems differ from classical control systems in that their control loops are closed around communication networks. Thus, the need for new stability and performance guarantees arises. In this paper, we aim to shed some light on the major advancements and inherent problems in networked control systems.IEE
