Aim: Gynecomastia is the visible enlargement of the male breast tissue either due tophysiologic, pathologic or drug-related causes. Physiological and pathological gynecomastiaoccurs because of the derangement of the estrogen and androgen metabolism. Drug-relatedgynecomastia is seen when using drugs affecting this hormone metabolism as well as a sideeffect of different drugs. Successful treatment of gynecomastia was reported with medicaltreatment and cessation of the possible causative drugs especially in early period, and withdirect excision, endoscopic subcutaneous mastectomy and excision with liposuction treatmentsin the late period.Material and Methods: In this study, we reported our results of gynecomastia treatment withsuction assisted wet liposuction in 3 different planes using 3 different thickness cannulas inGrade I, II and III patients. Forty five patients were operated between 2009 and 2019 usingthis technique in our clinique. All patients were followed for up to a minimum of 6 months toobserve the complication rate and the final aesthetic result. Results: Within the 45 patients evaluated in this study, the complication rate was 6.7%, thesuccess rate of the operation was 93.3% and the patient satisfaction was 91.1%. Gynecomastiatreatment in general -especially liposuction- was reviewed and our results were evaluatedbased on the literature results. Conclusion: There are many different options for gynecomastia treatment. In this study, weconcluded that in Grade I, II, and III patients good results can be achieved and patientsatisfaction is high in gynecomastia treatment with wet liposuction

Araştırmanın bulgularına göre hatıratların tarih öğretiminde kullanılabilecek uygun bir öğretim materyali olduğu söylenebilirIn this study, it is aimed to develop the students’ historical empathy skills via using memoirs in History lesson. Objectives: Many morphological changes occur in the bladder due to bladder outlet obstruction (BOO) in pa-tients with benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). In the present study we evaluated the relationship between in-terureteric distance (IUD) of the orifices and BOO in BPH patients.Materials and methods: Thirty-seven consecutive pa-tients with lower urinary tract symptoms at the urology polyclinic included in the study. Patients divided into 2 groups according to maximal flow rate (Qmax). The first group constituted of 18 patients with Qmax < 15ml/s and the second group constituted of 19 patients Qmax > 15ml/s. The IUD measurement was performed with Doppler ultrasonography. Results: There was no significant difference between the groups regarding mean age and prostate volume. Mean IUD in the first group was 32.7±5.4 mm and mean IUD in the second group was 31.5±5.1 mm. There was no statistically significant difference between the groups regarding the IUD.Conclusions: Data obtained from the study revealed that measurement of IUD with Doppler ultrasonography not significantly related to BOO
