“ESTRATEGIA DE COBERTURA CONTRA LA VOLATILIDAD DE LOS PRECIOS INTERNACIONALES DE LA MEZCLA MEXICANA DE PETRÓLEO Y SU IMPACTO EN LOS INGRESOS DE LA FEDERACIÓN. PERIODO 2015 – 2016”

Oil prices have fallen impressively to levels never seen before, that is why this investigation has to do with an oil prices hedging strategy for the 2015-2016 period, by dealing with “Put” selling options as a mean of insurance against volatility of Mexican oil mix barrel international price, in order to protect income of the Federation, avoiding putting at stake public finances.
The aim of this work is to make a presentation of the hedging strategy without excessive mathematical formalism, but with enough analysis for a decision-making process, in an scenario of volatility of the oil prices; a valuation model of financial derivatives is applied on the basis of Black-Scholes-Merton formula, and getting some conclusions from this strategy

How Can Geography and Mobile Phones Contribute to Psychotherapy?
Interdisciplinary relationships between Geography and Psychotherapy are an opportunity for innovation. Indeed, scientific works found on bibliographic databases and concerning this theme are scarce. Geographical sub-fields, such as the Geography of Emotions or Psychoanalytical Geography have started to emerge, theorizing about and interpreting feelings, emotions, moods, sufferings, of the chronically ill or diversified social groups and sites. But a less theoretical and more practical approach, in the sense of proposing, predicting and intervening, is lacking; as well as research into the possibilities offered by communication technologies and mobile phones. In the present work, we present the results of a review of the most relevant scientific works published internationally; we reflect on the contributions of Geography and mobile phones to psychosocial therapies and define the orientation and questions that should be posed in future research, from the point of view of geography and regarding psychotherapy. We conclude that the production of georeferenced data via mobile phones concerning the daily lives of people opens great possibilities for cognitive behavioural therapy and mental health. They allow for the development of personalized mood maps that locate the places where a person experiences greater or lesser stress on a daily basis; they allow for a cartography of emotions, a cognitive cartography of the places we access physically or through the Internet, of our feelings and psychosocial experiences. They open the door to the possibility of offering personalized psychotherapy treatments focusing on the ecological-environmental analysis of the places frequented by the person on a daily basis
The parliament of Quilín of 1641: an approach to the interlineage relations from the border life
In this document we’re going to analyze the relationships with the Spaniards from the indigenous perspective, showing a complementary proposal to the “border life” from the interlineage relations. We appreciated information about the relationships between different lineages in the Parliament of Quilín in 1641, especially of the “alliances” between the groupings that lived from Biobío River to Cruces river. These aspects can be identified since the attendance that some lineages granted to the Spaniards who denominated them “Indian friends”. We detected the presence of common interests that they were not permanent, old quarrels, ancestral hatreds and pending revenges that hoped to take shape demographically aided for more powerful groups like it was his tradition and custom in reguas mapuches.
This behavior of the different mapuche segments allows to recognize these alliances were unstable, what explains why the peace with the Spaniards was not permanent
Social capital and Economic growth
The conversation about whether social capital has an implication on the growth of a country, has received increasing attention by economists in recent years. Research is now diverging from the belief that growth can only be explained by the traditional outputs such as capital, labor and natural resources. This paper analyzes the relationship between social capital, economic performance and the development of a country. Analysis is performed using a panel data model from 11 countries in South and North America from the time period 1994 to 2014. The econometric model in this paper uses panel data due to the more efficient estimators yield compare to cross-sectional or times series data. A positive relationship was found on the impact of social capital explaining the economic growth of the countries analyzed which is in line with previous empirical studies. The most robust results were found by using the FGLS model. The findings, suggest that the impact that social capital has on economic growth should not be overlook by policy makers since it can help increase the development of a country
empleando una metodología dirigida por modelos.SUMMARY: The state machine model is the most complex in
the UML language, that is the current basis for teaching
most of the Software Engineering subjects.
The complexity (and subsequent learning difficulty)
of the model is due both to the elevated number of
components that integrate it, and to the abstraction
level of the model.
To solve these difficulties, we have developed
BlueState, a tool that allows the student to simulate
and visually monitor the execution of any state machine.
BlueState also includes a code generation module
that lets the student learn the implementation of
the behaviour of a system using a model-driven methodology.Peer Reviewe
War, the United Nations, and Peacekeeping
While the amount of interstate war in the international system had declined by 2013, since then both intrastate and internationalized intrastate war has increased. In 2015 there are sixteen UN peacekeeping operations around the globe, involving about 130,000 military, police, and civilian personnel. Over the past seventy years, UN peacekeeping operations have evolved from simple buffer forces tasked with observing cease-fires and armistices to complex multidimensional operations in intrastate conflicts, involving peacebuilding in an increasingly dangerous environment
