Desarrollo de un programa de preparación psicológica con los equipos de un club de fútbol de la primera división española

El deporte de base es la cantera de futuros deportistas profesionales, a la vez que el pilar básico donde tiene su implantación social las distintas disciplinas deportivas. Un trabajo metódico y sistemático en la base suele tener, como recompensa posterior, una mejora en el deporte de competición, tanto en la cantidad como en la calidad de sus practicantes. Si cierta es la idea de que para tener buenos deportistas es conveniente comenzar a trabajar en edades tempranas, en el caso de la Psicología aplicada al deporte, este hecho se ve cada vez más apoyado por los trabajos que se realizan con un doble objetivo: conocer más en profundidad determinados aspectos de la iniciación deportiva y posibilitar desde la psicología del deporte una oferta, a técnicos y deportistas, basada en planes y programas serios de actuación psicológica

Planificación del trabajo psicológico en equipos de fútbol: Equipo técnico de psicólogos Sevilla F.C.

El Equipo Técnico de Psicólogos comenzó su labor en la temporada 1998-1999, cuando Miguel Morilla diseñó un proyecto de trabajo psicológico que desde entonces se ha desarrollado ininterrumpidamente (Morilla et al., 2009). El grupo está compuesto por 8 profesionales para la temporada 2009-2010 y sus objetivos se enmarcan en la línea de los fijados con carácter general para los escalafones inferiores. En ese sentido se propone un desarrollo armónico dentro de un proceso global, en el cual se integra la preparación mental a la técnica, la táctica y el entrenamiento físico. Así mismo, se vela por el adecuado crecimiento formativo y académico, paralelo al deportivo. Como resultado del trabajo psicológico, se observan mejoras en el desarrollo de habilidades psicológicas y en el rendimiento académico de los futbolistas, se han publicado diferentes libros y cuadernillos, y se han institucionalizado diferentes servicios dentro del Club

Treatment with tocilizumab or corticosteroids for COVID-19 patients with hyperinflammatory state: a multicentre cohort study (SAM-COVID-19)

Objectives: The objective of this study was to estimate the association between tocilizumab or corticosteroids and the risk of intubation or death in patients with coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) with a hyperinflammatory state according to clinical and laboratory parameters. Methods: A cohort study was performed in 60 Spanish hospitals including 778 patients with COVID-19 and clinical and laboratory data indicative of a hyperinflammatory state. Treatment was mainly with tocilizumab, an intermediate-high dose of corticosteroids (IHDC), a pulse dose of corticosteroids (PDC), combination therapy, or no treatment. Primary outcome was intubation or death; follow-up was 21 days. Propensity score-adjusted estimations using Cox regression (logistic regression if needed) were calculated. Propensity scores were used as confounders, matching variables and for the inverse probability of treatment weights (IPTWs). Results: In all, 88, 117, 78 and 151 patients treated with tocilizumab, IHDC, PDC, and combination therapy, respectively, were compared with 344 untreated patients. The primary endpoint occurred in 10 (11.4%), 27 (23.1%), 12 (15.4%), 40 (25.6%) and 69 (21.1%), respectively. The IPTW-based hazard ratios (odds ratio for combination therapy) for the primary endpoint were 0.32 (95%CI 0.22-0.47; p < 0.001) for tocilizumab, 0.82 (0.71-1.30; p 0.82) for IHDC, 0.61 (0.43-0.86; p 0.006) for PDC, and 1.17 (0.86-1.58; p 0.30) for combination therapy. Other applications of the propensity score provided similar results, but were not significant for PDC. Tocilizumab was also associated with lower hazard of death alone in IPTW analysis (0.07; 0.02-0.17; p < 0.001). Perception of Faculty of the Bologna Process at a Spanish Technical University: A Perspective of Change and Improvement

The Bologna Process affects the academic community, particularly faculty members who have to implement the process. This study is an initiative by a group of lecturers to evaluate the perception of faculty members in the implementation of the Bologna Process. The aim was to assess the evolution of their opinion on the process since a 2011 survey, and their degree of agreement with the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). The results show that faculty members call for more adequate training for the new EHEA process and more institutional support. The study reveals the need for greater involvement and collaboration among faculty members to improve the reform process

Planificación psicológica de la cantera del Sevilla F.C. S.A.D.: Organización, funcionamiento y programa deportivo-formativo

Resulta fundamental en las etapas de formación del futbolista, el desarrollo de todas las cualidades necesarias para la futura alta competición entre ellas las psicológicas-. ello debe suponer una minuciosa planificación de ese trabajo, a la vez que una continuidad en el tiempo. esa práctica racional y coherente, junto al seguimiento de aquellos aspectos (los psicológicos) que acompañan e inciden en un correcto desarrollo del futbolistas, configuran este plan de actuación psicológica, contemplando el fomento de la salud y la calidad de vida del joven futbolista, y el análisis, estudio y valoración de acontecimientos que son relevantes en el fútbol y que, obviamente, aportarán verdaderos avances al Sevilla F.C. S.A.D, tanto en su vertiente más deportiva, como en la humana. Por la importancia que otorgamos a este trabajo, presentamos el plan de trabajo psicológico para los escalafones inferiores del Sevilla F.C., ya iniciado hace seis temporadas

A high-throughput screening platform of microbial natural products for the discovewry of molecules with antibiofilm properties agaisnt Salmonella

In this report, we describe a High-Throughput Screening (HTS) to identify compounds that inhibit biofilm formation or cause the disintegration of an already formed biofilm using the Salmonella Enteritidis 3934 strain. Initially, we developed a new methodology for growing Salmonella biofilms suitable for HTS platforms. The biomass associated with biofilm at the solid-liquid interface was quantified by staining both with resazurin and crystal violet, to detect living cells and total biofilm mass, respectively. For a pilot project, a subset of 1120 extracts from the Fundación MEDINA's collection was examined to identify molecules with antibiofilm activity. This is the first validated HTS assay of microbial natural product extracts which allows for the detection of four types of activities which are not mutually exclusive: inhibition of biofilm formation, detachment of the preformed biofilm and antimicrobial activity against planktonic cells or biofilm embedded cells. Currently, several extracts have been selected for further fractionation and purification of the active compounds. In one of the natural extracts patulin has been identified as a potent molecule with antimicrobial activity against both, planktonic cells and cells within the biofilm. These findings provide a proof of concept that the developed HTS can lead to the discovery of new natural compounds with antibiofilm activity against Salmonella and its possible use as an alternative to antimicrobial therapies and traditional disinfectants

Curso de nivelación para los alumnos de nuevo ingreso en la Escuela Universitaria de Arquitectura Técnica de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid

En la Escuela Universitaria de Arquitectura Técnica de Madrid, se ha desarrollado un curso que cabe denominar de Nivelación. Incluyó un conjunto de actividades destinadas a lograr que los alumnos accedieran con éxito al mundo Universitario. Era un curso dirigido a los alumnos que una vez concluido el bachillerato y superadas las Pruebas de Acceso a Estudios Universitarios habían sido admitidos para cursar el primer curso de los estudios conducentes al título universi-tario oficial de Arquitecto Técnico. El curso ha sido impartido por profesores de la Escuela Universitaria de Arquitectura Técnica de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid adscritos, respectivamente, a los Departamentos "EXPRE-SIÓN GRAFICA APLICADA A LA EDIFICACIÓN", "MATEMÁTICAS APLICADAS A LA ARQUITECTURA TÉCNICA" y "TECNOLOGÍA DE LA EDIFICACIÓN". Cada uno de los tres Departamentos concretó inicialmente las asignaturas y los temarios a des-arrollar sí bien a lo largo del proceso las enseñanzas se produjeron algunas modificaciones para una mejor adaptación del curso a las necesidades reales de los alumnos. En la ponencia se analizarán los avances y descubrimientos de los profesores en sus respectivos campos y se presentarán las conclusiones obtenidas así como las posibles modificaciones para futuras ediciones de cursos similares.SIN FINANCIACIÓNNo data 200
