Student Optimism Regarding Online Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic
Optimism is a positive attitude towards a situation, looking at something from the good side, and the hope of getting the best results from the situation. This study aims to find an overview of students’ optimism regarding online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research subjects were high school students who were taught via online systems. The study is based on data analysis using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the opimism of female students was higher than that of male students. In terms of optimism, the most dominant trait was the personalization aspect and the weakest was the permanence aspect.

PEMANFAATAN PEKARANGAN DENGAN BUDIDAYA MELON HIDROPONIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENDAPATAN KELUARGA KELOMPOK WANITA TANI MEKARSARI KELURAHAN TANJUNG, KECAMATAN PURWOKERTO SELATAN, KABUPATEN BANYUMAS, PROVINSI JAWA TENGAH
The yard is the land around the residence or house. In general, the yard is still not used optimally. Hydroponic melon cultivation is a system of plant cultivation without using soil as a medium for plant growth with additional nutrients for growth. The purpose of this community service activity that has been carried out is to increase the efficiency of using yard land by hydroponically cultivating melons, increasing family income, and the ability of partners to cultivate melons hydroponically. The service methods that have been carried out are education, training, demonstration plots, mentoring, and equipped with learning by-doing techniques. The service strategy that has been used is the empowerment of the target group with a Participatory Rural Appraisal approach. The technology that has been presented is hydroponic melon cultivation with a drip fertigation system, monitoring activities to monitor the presence of pests and diseases, and control of melon pests and diseases using entomo-pathogenic and antagonistic fungi. The results of the activities that have been carried out show that: technology transfer activities regarding the use of yards with hydroponic melon cultivation can increase the knowledge and skills of the target audience, farming efficiency, and income. --- Pekarangan adalah lahan yang ada di sekitar tempat tinggal atau rumah. Pada umumnya pekarangan masih belum dimanfaatkan secara optimum Budidaya tanaman melon secara hidroponik adalah sistem budidaya tanaman tanpa menggunakan tanah sebagai media tumbuh tanaman dengan tambahan nutrisi untuk pertumbuhannya. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan lahan pekarangan dengan budidaya tanaman melon secara hidroponik, meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga dan kemampuan mitra dalam budidaya tanaman melon secara hidroponik. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah pendidikan, pelatihan, demplot, pendampingan serta dilengkapi dengan teknik belajar sambil bekerja (learning by doing). Strategi pengabdian yang digunakan adalah pemberdayaan kelompok sasaran dengan pendekatan Partisipatory Rural Appraisal. Teknologi yang disampaikan adalah budidaya melon hidroponik dengan sistem fertigasi tetes, kegiatan monitoring untuk memantau keberadaan hama dan penyakit, serta pengendalian hama dan penyakit melon menggunakan jamur entomopatogen dan antagonis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa: kegiatan alih teknologi tentang pemanfaatan pekarangan dengan budidaya melon hidroponik dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan khalayak sasaran, efisiensi usaha tani, dan pendapatan.
Meta Analisis Efektivitas Model Problem Based Learning dan Problem Posing Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Sekolah Dasar Pada Pembelajaran Matematika
Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui komparasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Problem Posing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Meta Analisis. Data analisis didapatkan melalui jurnal online di google Cendekia. Kemudian dilakukan penyeleksian dari beberapa artikel, setelah dilakukan penyeleksian ditetapkan sampel sebanyak 20 artikel untuk dianalisis. Agar dapat diketahui perbedaan pengaruh antara model Problem Based Learning dan Problem Posing maka dilakukan melalui uji Ancova. Hasil dari uji Effect Size dengan model Problem Based Learning dan Problem Posing melalui Partial Eta Squared dengan jumlah 0,789 dengan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,000. Hasil uji tersebut mampu memberikan pengaruh tergolong efek besar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa sekolahb dasar. Dilihat dari hasil uji Ancova yang dilakukan pada 20 artikel terhadap model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan jumlah rata-rata skor posstest sebesar 74,3620. Sedangkan model pembelajaran Problem Posing terdapat rata-rata skor posstest sebesar 76,2580, Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Posing terhitung lebih efektif dibandingkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning
Studi Komparasi Pendapatan Driver Gojek dan Maxim Terhadap Upah Minimum di Kota Surabaya
This research aims to determine the comparison of the amount of income between Gojek and Maxim drivers for one month, and to find out whether the income of Gojek and Maxim drivers has reached the Surabaya Minimum Wage or not. This research model uses case studies in the field with a quantitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through field interviews with 6 Gojek drivers and 6 Maxim drivers around UPN Veteran East Java, which was conducted for one week. From the results of the interviews, the researchers concluded that the average income of Gojek and Maxim drivers still did not meet the Surabaya City Minimum Wage, although there were several Gojek drivers whose income reached the City UMK
An Error Analysis In Writing Descriptive Text Made By Students At The 7th Grade In SMP N 1 Gatak In 2015/2016 Academic Year
The purposes of this research are: (1) to describe the types of morphological
error of writing descriptive text made by the seventh grade students of SMP N 1
Gatak in 2015/2016 academic year; (2)to describe the types of syntactical error; (3)to describe the types of discourse error; (4) to know the frequency of each error in
writing descriptive text; (5) to know the sources of errors. The type of this research is
descriptive qualitative research. The researcher uses linguistic category taxonomy
and surface strategy taxonomy by James in analyzing the data.
The result of this research is the researcher found 220 errors made by the
students, the errors are divided into three kinds of errors. The first type of error is
morphological error in wrong spelling (46 errors or 20,91 %). The second is
syntactical error (152 errors or 69,09%), this kind of errors are divided into seven
kinds of errors. The first is omission of –s/-es in plural marker (8 errors or 3,64%).
The second is error in Be, this error is divided into three: omission of Be (15 errors
or 6,81%); addition of Be (14 errors or 6,36%); misuse of Be (14 errors or 6,36%).
The third is omission of preposition (9 errors or 4,09%). The fourth is article, it is
divided into two: omission of article (8 errors or 3,64 %); addition of article (10
errors or 4,55 %). The fifth is omission of s/es for v1 after third person singular (20
errors or 9,09%). The sixth is error in pronoun, it is divided into three: omission of ‘s
in possessive pronoun (4 errors or 1,82 %); possessive for subjective pronoun (18
errors or 8,18 %); subjective for possessive pronoun (19 errors or 8,64 %). And the
last is misordering (13 errors or 5,91 %). The last type of error is discourse in
reference, 22 errors or 10%.

Jigsaw On Line Model as the Improvization of Learning Methods in the Covid-19 Pandemic
Jigsaw cooperative learning is a learning model that encourages active students and helps each other in mastering the subject matter by dividing it into groups of origin and groups of experts in teaching and learning activities. Each group of experts is responsible for a material or subject. After the expert group has finished studying one topic of their expertise, each student returns to their home group to teach their expertise material to their friends in a discussion group. The aim of the study was to test whether the online Jigsaw method was effective for college students. The jigsaw method is done online, so it's done using zoom software, and goegle meet. The research subjects were 98 students in the 5th semester. The data analysis technique used the Independent sample T-test inferential statistics. The result of the analysis shows that there are significant differences between students who get online learning using the jigsaw method and the conventional method

Ragam Bahasa dalam Pelayanan Perpustakaan di Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur
Penelitian ini mengkaji penggunaan ragam bahasa dalam pelayanan perpustakaan di Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur. Dalam kegiatan pelayanan, bahasa merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat penting untuk menunjang kegiatan. Bahasa merupakan alat komunikasi yang digunakan oleh masyarakat luas dengan lafal hingga intonasi ucapan manusia. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan dalam penelitian yaitu 1) untuk mengetahui penggunaan ragam bahasa dalam pelayanan di perpustakaan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur dan 2) untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan ragam bahasa dalam pelayanan di perpustakaan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Penggunaan ragam bahasa dalam pelayanan di perpustakaan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur yaitu 96,3% responden menggunakan bahasa Indonesia serta 3,7% responden menggunakan bahasa jawa dan campuran dari bahasa Jawa dan bahasa Indonesia. Berikutnya, 2) penggunaan ragam bahasa dalam pelayanan di perpustakaan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur diketahui efektif karena 96,3% responden atau pengunjung perpustakaan Universitas pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur mayoritas memahami penggunaan bahasa Indonesia. Sehingga Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu pengembangan perpustakaan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur khususnya dalam permasalahan bahasa

PENETAPAN KADAR FENOLIK TOTAL DAN AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN EKSTRAK DIKLOROMETANA BUAH LAMPENI (Ardisia elliptica Thunb.)
Lampeni (Ardisia elliptica Thunb.) adalah tumbuhan dari genus Ardisia, famili
Primulaceae, memiliki kandungan fenol yang berperan sebagai antioksidan.
Buah lampeni diekstraksi bertingkat menggunakan metode soklet dengan
pelarut n-heksana dan diklorometana. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk
menentukan kandungan fenolik total dengan pereaksi Folin-Ciocalteu dan
aktivitas antioksidan dengan metode fosfomolibdat dari ekstrak diklorometana
buah lampeni dengan alat spektrofotometer UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang
sinar tampak. Pembanding yang digunakan adalah asam galat. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa kandungan fenolik total dengan menggunakan pereaksi
Folin-Ciocalteu yaitu sebesar 449,471 mgGAE/g ekstrak ± 3,9948. Hasil uji
aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak diklorometana dengan metode fosfomolibdat
diperoleh EC50 sebesar 44,0502 ppm. Ekstrak diklorometana buah lampeni
berpotensi besar sebagai sumber antioksidan alami.
