Determinar los factores de riesgo en el maltrato infantil en los pacientes del instituto Jaliciense de ciencias forenses

El maltrato infantil es un problema escondido en muchos países, debido a que no se cuenta con datos y a que el tema está cargado de vergüenza y negación. No obstante, el maltrato infantil es un problema en los países tanto desarrollados como en vías de desarrollo. El presente estudio es un trabajo realizado en el Instituto Jalisciense de Ciencias Forenses en el cual se tomaron en estudio 330 casos de los cuales 220 dieron negativo a maltrato infantil y 110 casos resultaron positivos a este problema. Por medio de un estudio de casos y controles de manera retrospectiva y observacional se aplicó la metodología correspondiente para determinar cuáles factores de riesgo presentes en el maltrato infantil se produjeron en el menor que llevaron a consulta en el Instituto para identificar los factores de riesgo presentes en este grupo de edad. Se identificó factores de riesgo para el maltrato infantil como lo son el antecedente de maltrato infantil en la persona que ahora resultó ser el agresor, alcoholismo y drogadicción de algún miembro de la familia que convive con el menor agredido, la convivencia con un padrastro, la violencia intrafamiliar y un bajo nivel económico; otros factores se identificaron como factores protectores para no desarrollar maltrato infantil como el tener una familia desintegrada en donde el miembro agresor no convive con la familia y tener un cuidado en la atención médica y social del menor de edad. Removing Twins in Graphs to Break Symmetries

Determining vertex subsets are known tools to provide information about automorphism groups of graphs and, consequently about symmetries of graphs. In this paper, we provide both lower and upper bounds of the minimum size of such vertex subsets, called the determining number of the graph. These bounds, which are performed for arbitrary graphs, allow us to compute the determining number in two different graph families such are cographs and unit interval graphs

Los recursos TIC contribuyen a los procesos didácticos de información, colaboración y aprendizaje en el campo de la formación de los profesionales de la educación. Para los procesos de información, los recursos permiten la búsqueda y presentación de información relevante. En los procesos de colaboración, los recursos van a facilitar el establecimiento de redes de colaboración para el intercambio. Los procesos de aprendizaje requieren recursos que contribuyan a la consecución de conocimientos cognoscitivos, procedimentales y actitudinales. Se hace un análisis de modelos tecnopedagógicos de integración de las TIC en educación. The Overflow of Contained Emotions in Anita Rau Badami's The Hero's Walk : An Analysis of Affects through the Imagery of Water

In this article, Anita Rau Badami's second novel, The Hero's Walk (2000), is analysed through the perspective of the field of affects. This analysis examines how the author, through the imagery of water, presents the non-physical reality of feelings and emotions. Water is the most receptive of the elements, a source of continuous, intimate and transitory metamorphoses. In the form of storms, floods, and other types of natural phenomena related to this element, it is possible to observe how Badami makes use of a metaphorical conceptualisation of intense emotional states related to the psychological trauma that arises from the loss of a loved one. For the purpose of analysis, several important sources in the field of affect theory and water symbolism will be considered. Special emphasis will also be placed on the body (and the house as an integral extension of it) as a receptacle for contained emotions in the processing of pain.El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la segunda novela de Anita Rau Badami, The Hero's Walk (2000) desde el ámbito de los afectos, estudiando cómo la autora, a través de la imaginería del agua, presenta la realidad no física de los sentimientos y las emociones. El agua es el más receptivo de los elementos, fuente de continuas metamorfosis íntimas y transitorias. En forma de tormentas, inundaciones y otros tipos de fenómenos naturales relacionados con este elemento, observamos cómo Badami hace uso de una conceptualización metafórica de intensos estados emocionales relacionados con el trauma psicológico derivado de la pérdida de un ser querido. Para el análisis se tendrán en cuenta diversas fuentes de gran relevancia en el campo de la teoría de los afectos y el simbolismo del agua como forma de expresar las emociones. Asimismo, se hará también especial hincapié en el cuerpo (y la casa como extensión del mismo) como receptáculo de emociones contenidas en el encausamiento del dolor

Porous Bodies in Mumbai: An Analysis of the Urban Landscape in Rohinton Mistry’s Novels

Rohinton Mistry’s work mainly focuses on the life of the marginalized and their struggle to survive against human ambition and political corruption, and Mumbai is frequently the meeting point of many of his characters. In this paper, I analyze the writer’s conception of the urban landscape from an ecocritical perspective, applying material ecocriticism’s theories and exploring the city as a porous body. Cities are compounds of matter and energy in mutual transformation with human and non-human beings, living and non-living matter (Alaimo 2008, Tuana 2008, Iovino 2014). Through the application of the concept of porosity, I show how Mistry’s characters are directly affected by what happens in the city. The city, on the other side, is also deeply transformed by human ambition, the tyranny of those in power, and the dirtiness and chaos resulting from social abuse

La sucesión de Carlos II plantea un interesante campo para el estudio sociocultural de la política a propósito del cruce de intereses de las facciones que se enfrentan en la corte madrileña con motivo de la sucesión del monarca. En este trabajo se propone analizar -en el contexto de la cuestión sucesoria que precede a la Guerra de Sucesión Española- no sólo el ya reconocido ascendiente que la opinión del clero tenía en la sociedad, sino las prácticas y discursos usados desde el campo político y el religioso y cómo se cruzan y se convierten en instrumentos para manifestar las posiciones que defendían los derechos de Austrias o Borbones. Al mismo tiempo, se intenta destacar la intersección de las atribuciones jurisdiccionales con trasfondo regalista que se enfrentan en este conflicto.The succession of Charles II proposes an interesting field for the socio-cultural study of the politics aiming to the crossing interests of the factions that match up the court of Madrid due to the monarch’s succession. The aim of this work is to analyze - in the context of the succession issue that precedes the War of the Spanish Succession - not only the already recognized influence that the clergy opinion had in the society, but the practices and discourses used in the political field and the religious one, and how they crossed and became instruments to state the positions that defended the rights of Habsburgs or Bourbons.
