Основні напрями реалізації мультикультуралізму у професійній підготовці викладачів у США

The purpose of the research. The article raises the problem of professional preparation of future educators in the United States and Canada for work in a multicultural educational environment. Research methodology is based on the use of comparative and analytical methods while studying the works of American and Canadian scholars dealing with issues of ethnocultural diversity of the educational environment of modern educational institutions and attempts to resolve them from the standpoint of a tolerant attitude in working with multiethnic and multicultural students. Scientific novelty lies in the analysis of conceptual and empirical studies of American and Canadian authors, which until now have not been highlighted in the Ukrainian press. Conclusions. The research shows that teacher training programs at US colleges and universities, the curriculums and the policies of educational institutions have been revised to focus on the diversity of the ethnic composition of students and teachers, and that they reflect the main requirements to the goals and objectives of multicultural education.Цель работы – исследовать профессиональную подготовку будущих учителей в США и Канаде для работы в поликультурном образовательном среде. Методология исследования основана на применении сравнительного и аналитического методов в изучении работ американских и канадских ученых, посвященных вопросам этнокультурного разнообразия образовательной среды современных учебных заведений и попыток их решения с точки зрения толерантного отношения к работе с многонациональными и мультикультурными студентами. Научная новизна заключается в анализе концептуальных и эмпирических исследований американских и канадских авторов, до сих пор не были освещены в украинской прессе. Выводы. В результате исследования показано, что программы повышения квалификации учителей американских колледжей и университетов, учебные планы и политика учебных заведений изменяются с целью сосредоточения внимания на многообразии этнического состава студентов и учителей, а также отражают основные требования к целям и задачам многокультурной образования.Мета роботи – дослідити професійну підготовку майбутніх вчителів у США та Канаді для роботи в багатокультурному освітньому середовищі. Методологія дослідження ґрунтується на застосуванні компаративного та аналітичного методів у дослідженні праць американських та канадських вчених, присвячених питанням етнокультурного розмаїття навчального середовища сучасних навчальних закладів та спроб їх вирішення з точки зору толерантного ставлення до роботи з багатонаціональними та мультикультурними студентами. Наукова новизна полягає в аналізі концептуальних та емпіричних досліджень американських та канадських авторів, які досі не були висвітлені в українській пресі. Висновки. В результаті дослідження показано, що програми підвищення кваліфікації вчителів американських коледжів та університетів, навчальні плани та політика навчальних закладів зазнають змін з метою зосередження уваги на різноманітті етнічного складу студентів та вчителів, а також відображають основні вимоги до цілей та завдань багатокультурної освіти

EDUCATION AS A PRIORITY OF SUCCESSFUL SOCIALIZATION OF PERSONALITY IN UKRAINE

The article considers topical issues of successful socialization of personality in Ukraine in the context of the modern society challenges, when educational institutions become true co-authors of a holistic educational process. It is noted that integration into the European educational space presupposes the preservation of the national, regional identity, maximum orientation on the peculiarities and the real level of education that has been achieved in Ukraine. It is emphasized that integration into the European educational space should include the necessity of formation of qualitative education in the state. It is noted that today modern educator cannot stay indifferent or ignore the transition to new educational standards; scientific developments should not be mechanically transferred to the practice of modern educational activities. Розглянуті актуальні питання успішної соціалізації особистості в Україні в контексті викликів сучасного соціуму, у якому освітні заклади стають справжніми співтворцями цілісного освітнього процесу. Наголошується, що інтеграція у європейський освітній простір передбачає збереження національної, регіональної ідентичності, максимальну орієнтацією на особливості і реальний рівень освіти, що сформувалась в Україні. Підкреслюється, що інтеграція в європейський освітній простір повинна передбачати необхідність формування якісної освіти у державі. Зазначається, що сьогодні сучасний педагог не може залишатись індиферентним або ігнорувати перехід на нові освітні стандарти; наукові напрацювання не можуть бути механічно перенесені в практику сучасної освітньої діяльності.

Integrity of modern educational environment as a prerequisite for quality education

The article deals with the integrity of the modern educational space. The purpose of the article is to present characteristics of the integrity of education as a prerequisite for the integration of the individual in a modern social environment. Based on the analysis of theoretical sources accent is focused on the integration processes in education as a priority vector of its modernization and European integration. It is emphasized that personality is the main subject of the successful self-realization through lifelong learning program. It is concluded that the integrity of modern educational space, educational process in modern educational institutions is a priority component of modern quality education oriented primarily to the labor market, education. The Harmonization of the Powers of the Constitutional Courts and International Judicial Authorities for the Protection of Human Rightsand Freedoms

The Author considers the problem of the relationship between the national constitutional courts and the courts of international organizations, focusing on the analysis of existing approaches to the characterization of their relations. Considerable attention is paid to the search for the necessary balance of interaction, which would allow both institutions of judicial protection to be preserved and, at the same time, increase the effectiveness of their activities. The study is accompanied by a study of the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights and the constitutional courts of European countries. Based on the study of the experience of several European countries, it is established that the problem is systemic and relevant at the international level. The Author comes to the conclusion that the way to solving the problem of conflicts of judicial institutions lies in expanding the channels of cooperation and interaction, which will strengthen the guarantees for the protection of human rights and freedoms

DETERMINATION OF AVIATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION

Objective: The article considers the problem of determining the aviation security administration from the standpoint of the current state of aviation research in the humanities and law. Methods and materials: In the course of the study the authors  used complex of philosophically ideological, general scientific and special scientific methods. Results: The category of aviation security is defined as an element of general aviation activity. The analysis of aviation safety from the standpoint of the formal and legal element of aviation activity is presented. Conclusion: The practical application of pedagogical and humanitarian levers to increase the level of aviation security is proposed

РОЛЬ МАСОВОЇ КУЛЬТУРИ В ПОЛІКУЛЬТУРНІЙ ОСВІТІ КАНАДИ

The purpose of the article is to investigate the mass culture phenomenon and its influence on the development of the youth consciousness and on the multicultural education in modern Canada. The methodology is based on the use of comparative and analytical methods in studying mass culture phenomenon and its application in the educational process of multicultural society, basing on the example of Canada. The scientific novelty lies in the analysis of conceptual and empirical studies of modern Ukrainian and Canadian authors on the influence of mass culture on the educational process, which is not adequately reflected in the Ukrainian information environment. Conclusions. The article shows that popular culture can have greater potential in promoting processes on achieving and consolidating peace; it is shown that the rational use of mass culture on Internet sites and in the processes of lifelong education, namely in schools, at work and in social networks, can be a very effective tool in strengthening social harmony in Canadian multicultural conditions; some specific ways of sharing elements of mass culture in various systems of continuous education are suggested. It is noted that mass cultures have more democratic and egalitarian elements in comparison with other forms of cultures, and their active use in various educational conditions could greatly contribute to the construction of a multicultural Canadian society.Цель работы – исследовать феномен массовой культуры и его влияние на формирование сознания молодежи и на поликультурное образование в современной Канаде. Методология исследования основана на применении сравнительного и аналитического методов исследования феномена массовой культуры и попытки его использования в образовательном процессе многонационального и поликультурного общества на примере Канады. Научная новизна заключается в анализе концептуальных и эмпирических исследований современных отечественных и канадских авторов о влиянии массовой культуры на образовательный процесс, не нашедшие должного отражения в украинской информационной среде. Выводы. В статье показано, что массовая культура может иметь больший потенциал для содействия процессам достижения и укрепления мира; показано, что разумное использование массовой культуры на сайтах и в процессах непрерывного образования, а именно в школах, на работе и в социальных сетях, может оказаться очень действенным инструментом в укреплении общественного согласия в канадских поликультурных условиях; предлагаются некоторые конкретные способы совместного использования и обмена элементами массовой культуры в различных системах непрерывного образования. Отмечается, что массовые культуры имеют множество демократических и эгалитаристических элементов по сравнению с другими формами культур, активное их использование в различных образовательных условиях могло бы в значительной степени способствовать построению поликультурного и сплоченного канадского общества.Мета роботи – дослідити феномен масової культури та його вплив на формування свідомості молоді й на полікультурну освіту в сучасній Канаді. Методологія дослідження ґрунтується на застосуванні компаративного та аналітичного методів дослідження феномену масової культури та спроби його залучення до освітнього процесу багатонаціонального та багатокультурного суспільства на прикладі Канади. Наукова новизна полягає в аналізі концептуальних та емпіричних досліджень сучасних вітчизняних та канадських авторів щодо впливу масової культури на освітній процес, які не знайшли висвітлення в українському інформаційному середовищі. Висновки. У статті показано, що масова культура може мати більший потенціал для сприяння процесам досягнення й зміцнення миру; доводиться, що розумне використання масової культури на сайтах і в процесах безперервної освіти, а саме в школах, на роботі і в соціальних мережах, може виявитися дуже дійовим у зміцненні суспільної злагоди в канадських полікультурних умовах; пропонуються деякі конкретні способи спільного користування й обміну елементами масової культури у різноманітних системах безперервної освіти. Зазначається, що оскільки  масові культури багаті на демократичні й егалітаристські елементи в порівнянні з іншими формами культур, активне їх використання у різноманітних освітніх умовах могло б чималою мірою сприяти побудові полікультурного й згуртованого канадського суспільства

The article describes the role of the media in the professional education of future social workers. The influence of mass media in the professional education of a future social worker is represented - it is an opportunity for an individual to choose the information he wants to receive, and not what is imposed on him from outside, although this is due to certain technical and political difficulties; the use of reliable information flows for vocational education by taking into account the influence of various public organizations, cultural and educational activities. The influence of mass media in the professional training of future social workers has been developed, which includes internal and external factors influencing its components, inflows and outflows. Features of professional education of the future employee are characterized. The role of mass media in the activity of the future social worker is singled out. The role of mass media in the professional education of the future social worker is emphasized.

TOPICAL ISSUES IN CONTEMPORARY UKRANIAN CINEMA SPACE: CHALLENGES OF TIME AND PROSPECTS

Background: The authors consider new ideas in solving current problems in the contemporary Ukrainian cinema space. Emphasis is placed on postmodernism in cinema; works, scientific research, thesis research, scripts, and films in which postmodern techniques are used are analyzed. Objective: The authors consider the main sources of the emergence of postmodernism, the principles of functioning of postmodern cinema, and the main features of postmodern cinema. Results: As a result of the research, the authors found that the characteristic features of postmodern discourse are: intertextuality, citationality, change of traditional forms, moral and ethical marginality; contempt for any canons, total uncertainty, and interpretation of the world as an amorphous, multivariate self-developing reality. Conclusion: For the development of Ukrainian culture, it is necessary to introduce postmodern interpretations into contemporary cinema in order to follow the transformation of creative processes from primary sources to contemporary creative forms in cinema, which testifies to the contemporary approach to the development of Ukrainian cinema

Modern problems of reproduction of public health of the population

The study is based on the development of the basic provisions for the implementation of sustainable development, namely one of its goals: “Overcoming poverty in all its forms”, which were approved in 2015 at the UN Summit on Sustainable Development. Reproduction of the public health of the population is the basis of the mechanism for the prevention of poverty in the territories, presented in doctoral dissertation Martynovych Nataly. Also, modern problems of reproduction of public health of the population form the conceptual foundations of the applied state theme “Economic and legal support of the strategic development of newly formed territorial communities”. This topic was approved by the Decree of the Bureau of the Department of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and is carried out by the staff of the department of problems of interregional cooperation of the Institute of Economic and Legal Research of the NAS of Ukraine Martynovych Nataly, Boichenko Elina. The purpose of the research is to determine by the empirical way modern problems of reproduction of public health of the population and the development of comprehensive measures to overcome them. The findings showed an integral assessment of the state of public health of the population was carried out, as a result of which it was established that only three-quarters of the population of Ukraine can be considered healthy. Empirically, an increase in the deficit of the average life expectancy of the population is determined, and the main reasons for such dynamics are also indicated.
