    Salah satu program pemerintah dalam tumbuh kembang anak berhubungan dengan pendidikan dan pengembangan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeteksi nilai-nilai, keterampilan hidup,dan karakter yang lahir pada awal kehidupan anak melalui proses menyusui. Metode penelitian adalah metode kualitatif, yang dilakukan melalui wawancara semi terstruktur terhadap sepuluh ibu menyusui. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya lima nilai-nilai (budi baik, dekat, bersama, stimulasi, dan respek), empat keterampilan hidup (mandiri, adaptasi, komunikasi, dan efikasi-diri), dan enam karakter (bijaksana, berani, kasih sayang, percaya diri, syukur, dan gembira) yang lahir melalui proses tersebut. Hasil ini dapat digunakan pada program-program Promosi Kesehatan dan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dalam USAha membentuk anak bangsa yang sehat dan berkarakter kuat sejak awal kehidupan

    Optimizing The EFL Learning Through Individualized Education Programs for Intellectually Disability Students

    This research aims to describe the English language learning process using Individual Education Program (IEP) in inclusion classes at elementary school level. This research used a qualitative approach with two students with special needs with intellectual disabilities (ID) as the subjects of this research. Three types of data collection techniques used were structured observation, structured interviews and document study. The result of this research indicated that even though the two research subjects have intellectual disability, they can still participate in learning with certain terms and conditions. Every class teacher and special assistant teacher must pay attention to students’ learning needs that supports their learning development which must be in accordance with curriculum objectives. Therefore, teachers must be able to develop the Individualized Education Program (IEP) according to the special needs of students and carry out teaching according to plans that have been made previously.     Educators as teachers create conditions for students to face the learning cycle. Learning is an approach to changing behavior caused by external stimuli. Learn to remember different segments for it, for example, the physical and mental state of the learner. This assessment is intended to determine the use of informative media in facilitating effective learning in the class of SD N Tangerang 5. This kind of assessment is an expressive abstract investigation. The research area is elementary school, the test subjects are the principal, the second commander, and the third grade educator. The results of the exploration of the use of learning media in effective structured learning in class III SD N Tangerang 5 if what has been prepared is an interesting learning media, can work together and eliminate learning ideas, increase student motivation, support student-dependent single achievement, and can be utilized as a direct message. Utilization and capacity of learning media to clarify the presentation of messages with the intention of not being too verbalistic, overcoming the constraints of space, time and staff. Many segments of supporting learning media have been provided by schools and students. With the learning media students are very enthusiastic in learning, with the media making students more confident to master the idea that students are bad at learning

    Kepandaian membatik di Jepara sudah ada sejak zaman R.A. Kartini (1879-1904), tetapi tidak berkembang sebagaimana industri kreatif lainnya seperti ukir kayu, perhiasan monel, ataupun tenun Troso. Dewasa ini kegiatan industri batik di Jepara mulai tumbuh dan berkembang kembali. IKM melakukan penciptaan motif khas daerah dengan mengambil inspirasi dari motif seni ukir kayu, namun hasilnya masih terlihat kaku atau kurang sesuai untuk motif hias pada kain sandang. Tujuan penciptaan seni ini adalah sebagi  ikhtiar sumbangsih untuk menghasilkan motif batik yang lebih serasi terinspirasi dan dikembangkan dari seni ukir kayu Jepara. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data, pengkajian sumber inspirasi, perwujudan menjadi kain batik, dan penilaian estetika motif. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan 10 motif  yaitu Lung Merak, Lung Ngrembaka, Lung Cinta Jepara, Lung Wuni, Lung Gunung, Lung Lereng, Ceplok Semi, Ceplok Poleng, Ceplok Ukir, dan Ceplok Bal. Motif yang mendapat penilaian baik sekali (A) adalah motif Lung Merak, Ceplok Ukir, dan Ceplok Bal

    The effects of mother’s education on achieving exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia

    Background: Even though the Indonesian government have set regulations for maintaining exclusive breastfeeding practices, the coverage remains low. The study aims to analyze the effects of mother’s education level on the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia. Methods: This study used data from the 2017 Nutrition Status Monitoring Survey. It covered data of 53,528 children under 5 years old (7–59 months) as the samples. Variables included exclusive breastfeeding status, mother’s education level, mother’s age, marital status, employment status, gender, residence, under five’s age and gender. A binary logistics regression was performed in the final test. Results: Mothers who graduated from elementary school were 1.167 times more likely to perform exclusive breastfeeding compared to mothers who never attended schools. Additionally, those who graduated from junior high school had 1.203 times possibilities to give exclusive breastfeeding compared to mothers without educational records. While, mothers who graduated from high school were 1.177 times more likely to perform exclusive breastfeeding compared to those without educational records. Mothers who graduated from tertiary education had 1.203 times more possibilities to perform exclusive breastfeeding compared to mothers who were never enrolled to schools. Other variables also became affecting predictors on exclusive breastfeeding, such as mother’s age, mother’s employment status, child’s age, and residence. Conclusions: The mother’s education level positively affects exclusive breastfeeding practice in Indonesia

    This study aims to describe critical thinking skills, identify factors that affect critical thinking skills and recommend follow-up plans to overcome students' low critical thinking ability to complete class VII set operations problems at Waingapu City Junior High School. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection uses tests, interviews and documentation studies. The subjects in the study were 30 students of class VII junior high school in Waingapu City. The results found that the average critical thinking ability of students was 37.29 and was in the low category. There are several factors that affect students' critical thinking skills, including lack of relearning of the material that has been obtained, mastery of mathematical concepts, learning interests and students' thoroughness in working on problems. The recommendations of actions taken by teachers are reviewing the basic concepts of mathematics, designing learning devices and training students to work on story problems and learning motivation

    Formulasi Deterjen Eco-Friendly Ekstrak Etanol Biji Buah Lerak (Sapindus rarak DC) Kombinasi Surfaktan Decyl Glucoside dan Lauryl Glucoside

    Pendahuluan: Deterjen merupakan limbah rumah tangga yang paling banyak mencemari lingkungan karena kandungan surfaktan turunan sulfonate yang tidak bisa dibiodegradasi. Sehingga diperlukan inovasi detergen ramah lingkungan. Penelitian   ini   bertujuan   untuk   mengembangkan   formula   deterjen   ramah lingkungan yang mengandung ekstrak etanol biji buah lerak (Sapindus rarak DC) kombinasi surfaktan decyl glucoside dan lauryl glucoside. Metode: penelitian meliputi pembuatan deterjen cair menggunakan tiga formula  yaitu FI, FII, dan FIII dengan variasi konsentrasi ektrak etanol biji buah lerak yang digunakan. Hasil: pH detergen adalah 9,92 (F1), 8,9 (F2) dan 7,85 (F3); viskositas sebesar 16,33 mPas (F1), 8,33 mPas (F2) dan 15 mPas (F3); stabilitas busa yaitu diperoleh kisaran 84,09 % - 89,99 %; bobot jenis sebesar 1,027 g/ml (F1),1,025 (F2) dan 1,032 g/ml (F3). Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga formula detergen cair ekstrak biji buah lerak  memenuhi mutu fisik sesuai syarat SNI 06-4075-1996
