Magnetic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles: Synthesis and Surface Functionalization Strategies
Surface functionalized magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (NPs) are a kind of novel functional materials, which have been widely used in the biotechnology and catalysis. This review focuses on the recent development and various strategies in preparation, structure, and magnetic properties of naked and surface functionalized iron oxide NPs and their corresponding application briefly. In order to implement the practical application, the particles must have combined properties of high magnetic saturation, stability, biocompatibility, and interactive functions at the surface. Moreover, the surface of iron oxide NPs could be modified by organic materials or inorganic materials, such as polymers, biomolecules, silica, metals, etc. The problems and major challenges, along with the directions for the synthesis and surface functionalization of iron oxide NPs, are considered. Finally, some future trends and prospective in these research areas are also discussed

Measurement of forward top pair production in the dilepton channel in pp collisions at √s=13 TeV
Forward top quark pair production is studied in collisions in the final state using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity
of 1.93 fb collected with the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy
of 13 TeV. The cross-section is measured in a fiducial region where both
leptons have a transverse momentum greater than 20 GeV and a pseudorapidity
between 2.0 and 4.5. The quadrature sum of the azimuthal separation and the
difference in pseudorapidities, denoted , between the two leptons
must be larger than 0.1. The -jet axis is required to be separated from both
leptons by a of 0.5, and to have a transverse momentum in excess of
20 GeV and a pseudorapidity between 2.2 and 4.2. The cross-section is measured
to be where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and
the third is due to the luminosity determination. The measurement is compatible
with the Standard Model prediction.Comment: All figures and tables, along with any supplementary material and

Available evidence on HIFU for focal treatment of prostate cancer: a systematic review
Purpose: Prostate cancer (PCa) is the second most common oncologic disease among men. Radical treatment with curative intent provides good oncological results for PCa survivors, although definitive therapy is associated with significant number of serious side-effects. In modern-era of medicine tissue-sparing techniques, such as focal HIFU, have been proposed for PCa patients in order to provide cancer control equivalent to the standard-of-care procedures while reducing morbidities and complications. The aim of this systematic review was to summarise the available evidence about focal HIFU therapy as a primary treatment for localized PCa. Material and methods: We conducted a comprehensive literature review of focal HIFU therapy in the MEDLINE database (PROSPERO: CRD42021235581). Articles published in the English language between 2010 and 2020 with more than 50 patients were included. Results: Clinically significant in-field recurrence and out-of-field progression were detected to 22% and 29% PCa patients, respectively. Higher ISUP grade group, more positive cores at biopsy and bilateral disease were identified as the main risk factors for disease recurrence. The most common strategy for recurrence management was definitive therapy. Six months after focal HIFU therapy 98% of patients were totally continent and 80% of patients retained sufficient erections for sexual intercourse. The majority of complications presented in the early postoperative period and were classified as low-grade
