    Pertumbuhan ekonomi Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) diidentikkan sebagai ukuran kesejahteraan masyarakat. Usaha mikro kecil (UMK) di Indonesia dapat menjadi pendukung dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi karena UMK memiliki karakteristik positif sebagai sektor yang mampu menyediakan lapangan pekerjaan yang besar. Pengeluaran juga dapat mempengaruhi PDRB, karena dapat menunjukkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Jawa Timur sebagai salah satu provinsi Indonesia yang memiliki perekonomian yang baik, karena memiliki PDRB terbesar kedua setelah DKI Jakarta dan memiliki UMK yang menjadi pendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi. Adanya hubungan simultan antara PDRB dan pengeluaran yang over identified dapat dimodelkan menggunakan metode persamaan simultan 2SLS dan 3SLS. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa estimasi model persamaan simultan lebih baik daripada model persamaan tunggal, berdasarkan kriteria koefisien determinasi maksimum dan kesamaan nilai estimasi. Lebih dari itu, estimasi model persamaan simultan 3SLS ditunjukkan ecara empiris bersifat lebih baik dibandingkan model 2SLS, dengan kriteria koefisien determinasi maksimum dan standard error minimum. Hasil estimasi model 3SLS menunjukkan bahwa jumlah UMK dan pengeluaran berpengaruh positif terhadap PDRB, tetapi rasio ketergantungan berpengaruh negatif terhadap PDRB. Sementara itu, IPM dan PDRB berpengaruh positif terhadap pengeluaran, tetapi pengangguran berpengaruh negatif terhadap pengeluaran. Hasil konfirmasi pengelompokan estimasi sepuluh daerah PDRB terendah dengan data aktual hanya meliputi empat kabupaten/kota, sedangkan estimasi pengeluaran terdiri dari tiga kabupaten/kota

    This study examines the unconditional conservatism and earnings quality as part of corporate governance before and after IFRS convergence in Indonesia. Specifically, this study examines the effect of eliminating the conservatism concept within the accounting framework following the development of principle based accounting standard and earnings quality on financial reporting practices. This study further examines the effect of eliminating conservatism concept to the earnings quality upon implementation of IFRS convergence on the financial reporting practices. Using content analysis on 180 annual reports of 36 manufacturinglisted companies over a 5 year period in Indonesia, this study found that unconditional conservatism has not changed significantly after IFRS convergence. However, the earnings quality of the manufacturing companies has declined upon IFRS convergence. This study also found that unconditional conservatism has positive influence on earnings quality upon IFRS convergence although the result is insignificant. From the agency theory perspective, this study highlights the introduction of accounting and governance reform on the principal-agent relationship in relation to the unconditional conservatism and earnings quality practices. The findings in this study shed some lights to the regulators, practitioners and other interested parties on the implication of IFRS convergence in a developing country such as Indonesia

The fruit is used as an enhancer of sour taste in dishes while the stem bark is boiled and orally as a treatment for vomiting blood.Based on research, this fruit contains vitamin C more than 84%, the ethanol extract of Dengen fruit contains tannin, saponins , alkaloid compounds, flavonoids, polyphenols and triterpenoids.The aim of this research was to determinethetotalpolyphenolsfromethanol extract leafandstem bark of Dengen(Dilleniaserrata).Leafandstem bark extracted by macerationby usingethanol 70%.Ethanol extract of leafmadeinconcentration of500µg/ml.Whileethanol extract of stem bark madeinconcentration of100ug/mlwithadditionsFolin-Coicalteau (1:10) and Na2CO37.5%.Absorbance of samplebe measuredusespectrophotometerUV-Visat a wavelength of745nm.The measurement results are based on absorban color intensity calibrated in the raw curve of gallicacid.Data analysis using the standard curve equationy = 0.0119x + 0.0416.The results obtained where the content of polyphenols in ethanol extract of dengen leaves were 39,793 mgGAE/g or 3.97% b/b while those in stem bark were 444.8 mgGAE /g or 44.8% b/b.     Salah satu masalah utama yang dihadapi Indonesia saat ini adalah kurangnya kesempatan kerja yang disediakan oleh pemerintah. Industrialisasi memiliki peran strategis untuk mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi yang cukup tinggi secara berkelanjutan dan memperluas kesempatan kerja. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi penyerapan tenaga kerja yaitu upah dan modal. Hal tersebut membuat peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian ini yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh upah dan modal pada penyerapan tenaga kerja terhadap industri kecil pengolahan ikan di Kabupaten Demak. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan menggunakan jenis data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer dari responden pemilik industri kecil pengolahan ikan di Kabupaten Demak melalui kuesioner secara langsung. Sedangkan data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Demak. Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan berjumlah 86 unit usaha. Teknik analisis regresi linier berganda Ordinary Least Square (OLS) menggunakan uji hipotesis secara parsial (uji t) pada level significance 5%. Software untuk menganalisisnya menggunakan Eviews. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penyerapan tenaga kerja dipengaruhi oleh upah dan modal. Upah dan modal berpengaruh positif terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di industri kecil pengolahan ikan di Kabupaten Demak. Sehingga pemilik industri kecil pengolahan ikan harus menerapkan standar upah, memperbanyak modal, perlu adanya sosialisasi dan pelatihan agar mampu membuka industri kecil pengolahan yang lebih banyak, membayarkan upah sesuai Upah Minimum Kabupaten (UMK) dan kemudahan dalam mendapatkan modal.One of the main problems facing Indonesia today is the lack of employment opportunities provided by the Government. Industrialization has a strategic role to support high enough economic growth sustainably and broaden job opportunities. The factors affecting labor absorption are wages, capital and production value. This has made researchers interested in conducting this research that aims to determine whether there is an influence on wages and capital on the absorption of labor against small industrial fish processing in Demak district. This type of research is quantitative by using primary data types and secondary data. Primary Data from small industry owners of fish processing in Demak district through the questionnaire directly. Secondary data from the Central Statistics agency of Demak District. The number of samples obtained based on the criteria set amounted to 86 business units. A double linear regression analysis technique of Ordinary Least Square (OLS) uses a partial hypothesis test (T-Test) at a significance level of 5%. Software to analyze it using Eviews. The conclusion of this research is the absorption of manpower influenced by wages and capital. Wages and capital have positive impact on the absorption of manpower in the small fish processing industry in Demak district. So that small industrial owners of fish processing should apply the wage standard, increase the capital, it is necessary to socialize and training to be able to open small industries more processing, pay the wage according to the district Minimum wage (MSES) and ease in obtaining capita

    Determination of sun protective factors (SPF) and antioxidant activity of ethanolic extract of rambutan rind (Nephelium lappaceum L.)

    Background, The fruit peels of rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L)are organic garbage with many potential health benefits but have not been used optimally. Purposes This study aims to determine the sun protective factor (SPF) and antioxidant activity of ethanolic extract of rambutan rind. Methods The rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L) rind was extracted by maceration method using ethanol as solvent. A simple, rapid and reliable in vitro method was used to assess the SPF values by measuring the absorbance of diluted extract between 290-320 nm at every 5 nm intervals using Ultraviolet Spectrophotometry. The SPF values were calculated based on the recorded absorbance using a simple mathematic equation developed by Mansur. The antioxidant activity of rambutan rind was determined by the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazil (DPPH) assay whereas vitamin C as positive control.  Results The SPF values of rambutan rind in concentration series of 50, 100, 150 and 200 ppm were 6,47±0,45 , 9,26±0,28, 13,01±0,33, and 16,17±0,63 respectively. The IC50 value of rambutan rind was 41,47 ± 3,89 µg/ml whereas the IC50 value of vitamin C was 24,87 ± 0,69 µg/ml. Conclusion Based on the result, the ethanolic extract of rambutan rind has potential as sunscreen and antioxidant.

    PENENTUAN NILAI SPF (SUN PROTECTION FACTOR) DARI EKSTRAK ETANOL PROPOLIS SECARA IN VITRO UNTUK PENGGUNAAN SEBAGAI TABIR SURYA PADA WANITA

    Matahari merupakan sumber radiasi terbesar yang ada. Selain sinar matahari mengandung spectrum yang dapat mengubah senyawa menjadi vitamin D, terdapat pula spectrum dari sinar matahari yang berbahaya bagi kesehatan kulit. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada kulit seperti kulit kusam, kulit bintik-bintik hitam, bahkan bisa terjadi kanker kulit. Hal-hal inilah yang menjadi salah satu factor yang menganggu kesehatan. Matahari memiliki spektrum Ultraviolet A (UV A) dan Ultraviolet B (UV B). Telah dilakukan penelitian dalam penentuan nilai SPF dari ekstrak etanol propolis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitain eksperimental. Ekstrak propolis diperoleh dengan cara maserasi bertingkat menggunakan pelarut n-heksan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pelarut etanol 70%. Ekstrak kental didapat setelah hasil ekstraksi dirotapavor dan dimasukkan ke Frezze dyer. Ekstrak etanol dibuat dalam beberapa seri pengenceran 400 µg/ml, 800 µg/ml, 1200 µg/ml, 1400 µg/ml, 1600 µg/ml ,1800 µg/ml dan 2000 µg/ml, yang kemudian diukur absorbansinya menggunakan spektrofotometer visible pada panjang gelombang 290 nm – 340 nm dengan interval 5 nm. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah pada konsenrasi 400 µg/ml memiliki nilai SPF 2,8, konsentrasi 800 µg/ml dengan nilai SPF 6, konsentrasi 1200 µg/ml dengan nilai SPF 10, konsentrasi 1400 µg/ml dengan nilai SPF 12, konsentrasi  1600 µg/ml dengan nilai SPF 14, konsentrasi 1800 µg/ml dengan nilai SPF 16 dan 2000 µg/ml dengan nilai SPF 18. Nilai-nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol memiliki tingkat proteksi minimal pada konsentrasi 400 µg/ml dan tingkat proteksi ultra pada konsentrasi 1800 µg/ml.

The compound library was evaluated by investigating the effects on integrin-mediated cell adhesion and cell signaling in cell lines expressing \u3b1v\u3b23, \u3b1v\u3b25, \u3b1v\u3b26, \u3b15\u3b21, \u3b1IIb\u3b23, \u3b14\u3b21, and \u3b1L\u3b22 integrins. SAR analysis of the new series of azetidinones enabled the recognition of structural elements associated with integrin selectivity. We obtained selective and potent agonists that could induce cell adhesion and promote cell signaling mediated by \u3b1v\u3b23, \u3b1v\u3b25, \u3b15\u3b21, or \u3b14\u3b21 integrin, and antagonists for the integrins \u3b1v\u3b23 and \u3b15\u3b21, as well as \u3b14\u3b21 and \u3b1L\u3b22, preventing the effects elicited by the respective endogenous agonists

The men body, which is disciplined by fitness products, has now ventured into men's fitness contests, one of which is The New L-Men of The Year which has been transformed from L-Men of The Year. This is one of the annual fitness contests for Indonesian men which was stopped in 2014, and then re-held in 2018. This research seeks to unravel the discourse behind The New L-Men of The Year using critical discourse analysis method by van Dijk. The unit of analysis for this research is online news on fimela.com related to the fitness contest The New L-Men of the Year 2018 period. The results showed that the discourse that emerged in the men's fitness contest through The New L-Men of The Year was a discourse on a healthy lifestyle. This healthy lifestyle is transmitted by the winner of The New L-Men of The Year as a health influencer who does not always highlight his six pack, but has the ability to communicate and understand the digital world as a form of persuasion of a healthy lifestyle
