¿Cómo se plasma una reforma educativa en las programaciones didácticas del profesorado?
Publicados los programas oficiales de la LOE, tendremos que concretar su plasmación en las aulas. Para esta tarea, no deberíamos olvidar nuestra historia más reciente: la puesta en práctica de la reforma LOGSE. Probablemente no han cambiado mucho las características de los docentes que debemos gestionarlos. Las programaciones didácticas no coinciden con lo que se hace en las aulas pero reflejan la comprensión e interpretación que el profesorado realiza de la reforma, aspecto clave para su diseminación. Queremos saber cómo se recogían en estos documentos: las bases teóricas, los objetivos, los contenidos, la metodología, la evaluación y el modelo de profesor. En este trabajo aportamos los resultados del análisis de 51 programaciones de materias de carácter científico, de primer y segundo ciclo de la ESO, correspondientes a 20 centros diferentes de la Región de Murcia
Consultoría integral en una empresa de urbanización y construcción de instalaciones eléctricas en el municipio de Zapopan
Este documento titulado consultoría integral en una empresa de urbanización yconstrucción de instalaciones eléctricas en el municipio de Zapopan, fue elaborado por María Fernanda Bueno Medina, José Augusto Valadez Romero, Mateo Verea Dorantes, Erick Uriel Acevedo González y Oscar Eduardo Montesinos Borrayo, bajo la conducción de la profesora Laura Tiburcio Silver.
La metodología utilizada para la elaboración del documento fue la de consultoría en MYPE. Las fuentes consultadas primarias fueron obtenidas directamente con los empresarios y colaboradores, así mismo, fuentes secundarias como bases de datos institucionales, etc.
El documento está integrado por una introducción, metodología y cinco capítulos: descripción del proyecto, reflexiones de cierre, conclusiones, fuentes consultadas y anexos. Se concentró el trabajo plasmando las generalidades y contexto de la empresa con lo que se generó un diagnóstico de la situación, después se realizó un planteamiento estratégico con la finalidad de concretar una propuesta de mejora. Una vez generada la propuesta de mejora se comenzó con la implementación de las actividades en la consultoría, de tal manera se redactaron recomendaciones estratégicas a la empresa. Terminada la implementación y
recomendaciones se realizaron reflexiones y conclusiones sobre los resultados.
Al final se concluyó que, a pesar de tener un enfoque completamente distante a cada uno de los estudios universitarios de los involucrados, se logró en primera instancia comprender el funcionamiento de una empresa y por consiguiente implementar diferentes propuestas de mejora para lograr un beneficio medible en la empresa que recibió la consultoría.ITESO, A.C
First results on light readout from the 1-ton ArDM liquid argon detector for dark matter searches
ArDM-1t is the prototype for a next generation WIMP detector measuring both
the scintillation light and the ionization charge from nuclear recoils in a
1-ton liquid argon target. The goal is to reach a minimum recoil energy of
30\,keVr to detect recoiling nuclei. In this paper we describe the experimental
concept and present results on the light detection system, tested for the first
time in ArDM on the surface at CERN. With a preliminary and incomplete set of
PMTs, the light yield at zero electric field is found to be between 0.3-0.5
phe/keVee depending on the position within the detector volume, confirming our
expectations based on smaller detector setups.Comment: 14 pages, 10 figures, v2 accepted for publication in JINS
Recommendations for the Treatment of Anti-Melanoma Differentiation-Associated Gene 5-positive Dermatomyositis-Associated Rapidly Progressive Interstitial Lung Disease
Objectives: The study aimed to develop evidence-based recommendations for the treatment of rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease (RPILD) associated with the anti-Melanoma Differentiation-Associated Gene 5-positive dermatomyositis (DM) syndrome.
Methods: The task force comprised an expert panel of specialists in rheumatology, intensive care medicine, pulmonology, immunology, and internal medicine. The study was carried out in two phases: identifying key areas in the management of DM-RPILD syndrome and developing a set of recommendations based on a review of the available scientific evidence. Four specific questions focused on different treatment options were identified. Relevant publications in English, Spanish or French up to April 2018 were searched systematically for each topic using PubMed (MEDLINE), EMBASE, and Cochrane Library (Wiley Online). The experts used evidence obtained from these studies to develop recommendations.
Results: A total of 134 studies met eligibility criteria and formed the evidentiary basis for the recommendations regarding immunosuppressive therapy and complementary treatments. Overall, there was general agreement on the initial use of combined immunosuppressive therapy. Combination of high-dose glucocorticoids and calcineurin antagonists with or without cyclophosphamide is the first choice. In the case of calcineurin antagonist contraindication or treatment failure, switching or adding other immunosuppressants may be individualized. Plasmapheresis, polymyxin B hemoperfusion and/or intravenous immunoglobulins may be used as rescue options. ECMO should be considered in life-threatening situations while waiting for a clinical response or as a bridge to lung transplant.
Conclusions: Thirteen recommendations regarding the treatment of the anti-MDA5 positive DM-RPILD were developed using research-based evidence and expert opinion.This project was supported by Spanish Rheumatology Society and Spanish Society of Internal Medicine (GEAS, Study Group on Autoimmune Diseases)
The ArDM experiment
The aim of the ArDM project is the development and operation of a one ton
double-phase liquid argon detector for direct Dark Matter searches. The
detector measures both the scintillation light and the ionization charge from
ionizing radiation using two independent readout systems. This paper briefly
describes the detector concept and presents preliminary results from the ArDM
R&D program, including a 3 l prototype developed to test the charge readout

NG2 antigen is involved in leukemia invasiveness and central nervous system infiltration in MLL-rearranged infant B-ALL
Mixed-lineage leukemia (MLL)-rearranged (MLLr) infant B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (iMLLr-B-ALL) has a dismal prognosis and is associated with a pro-B/mixed phenotype, therapy refractoriness and frequent central nervous system (CNS) disease/relapse. Neuron-glial antigen 2 (NG2) is specifically expressed in MLLr leukemias and is used in leukemia immunophenotyping because of its predictive value for MLLr acute leukemias. NG2 is involved in melanoma metastasis and brain development; however, its role in MLL-mediated leukemogenesis remains elusive. Here we evaluated whether NG2 distinguishes leukemia-initiating/propagating cells (L-ICs) and/or CNS-infiltrating cells (CNS-ICs) in iMLLr-B-ALL. Clinical data from the Interfant cohort of iMLLr-B-ALL demonstrated that high NG2 expression associates with lower event-free survival, higher number of circulating blasts and more frequent CNS disease/relapse. Serial xenotransplantation of primary MLL-AF4 + leukemias indicated that NG2 is a malleable marker that does not enrich for L-IC or CNS-IC in iMLLr-B-All. However, NG2 expression was highly upregulated in blasts infiltrating extramedullar hematopoietic sites and CNS, and specific blockage of NG2 resulted in almost complete loss of engraftment. Indeed, gene expression profiling of primary blasts and primografts revealed a migratory signature of NG2 + blasts. This study provides new insights on the biology of NG2 in iMLLr-B-ALL and suggests NG2 as a potential therapeutic target to reduce the risk of CNS disease/relapse and to provide safer CNS-directed therapies for iMLLr-B-ALL
MicroRNA-654-5p suppresses ovarian cancer development impacting on MYC, WNT and AKT pathways
Ovarian cancer is the most lethal gynecological malignancy due to the silent nature on its early onset and the rapid acquisition of drug resistance. Histologically heterogeneous, it includes several subtypes with different mutational landscapes, hampering the development of effective targeted therapies. Non-coding RNAs are emerging as potential new therapeutic targets in cancer. To search for a microRNA signature related to ovarian carcinomas and study its potential as effective targeted therapy, we examined the expression of 768 miRNA in a large collection of tumor samples and found miR-654-5p to be infraexpressed in ovarian serous carcinomas, the most common and aggressive type. Restoration of miR-654-5p levels reduced tumor cell viability in vitro and in vivo and impaired sphere formation capacity and viability of ovarian cancer patient-derived ascitic cells ex vivo. CDCP1 and PLAGL2 oncogenes were found to be the most relevant direct miR-654-5p targets and both genes convey in a molecular signature associated with key cancer pathways relevant to ovarian tumorigenesis, such as MYC, WNT and AKT pathways. On the dissipative non-minimal braneworld inflation
We study the effects of the non-minimal coupling on the dissipative dynamics
of the warm inflation in a braneworld setup, where the inflaton field is
non-minimally coupled to induced gravity on the warped DGP brane. We study with
details the effects of the non-minimal coupling and dissipation on the
inflationary dynamics on the normal DGP branch of this scenario in the
high-dissipation and high-energy regime. We show that incorporation of the
non-minimal coupling in this setup decreases the number of e-folds relative to
the minimal case. We also compare our model parameters with recent
