El presente trabajo expondrá el desarrollo significativo respecto a conceptos, procedimientos y actitudes referidos a la herencia de caracteres hereditarios, que alcanzaron los estudiantes del grado octavo del IEDIT Rodrigo de Triana, en un periodo de tres meses en el año 2008, durante el cual se ejecutó el diseño, aplicación y sistematización de la unidad didáctica ¡Moscas! a enseñar herencia. En esta experiencia educativa se adoptaron los postulados del Enfoque de Enseñanza por Investigación Dirigida y el instrumento metodológico de Investigación Acción, donde los estudiantes organizados en equipos de trabajo abordaron una pregunta problema para desarrollar una investigación escolar, bajo la atenta dirección de las docentes, quienes corroboraron un cambio procedimental, conceptual y actitudinal en los estudiantes del grado 803

Understanding how organizational culture typology relates to organizational unlearning and innovation capabilities

This study focuses on the link between organizational unlearning and innovation capabilities and explores how this relationship might be managed within an innovative firm. In order to gain a clearer insight into to the influence of a firm’s culture on organizational unlearning and its innovation capabilities, a research model was developed that employs the Competing Values Framework (Cameron & Quinn, 1999). In this model, the influence of a firm’s cultural typology on unlearning and innovation is conceptualized and hypotheses are developed. The model was tested empirically using a sample of 145 firms drawn from the Spanish automotive components manufacturing sector and the relationships between the constructs were assessed using the partial least squares path-modeling approach. The results reveal that each distinct organizational culture exerts a different impact on the innovation and unlearning outcome variables. Assessing the links between organisational cultures and unlearning capability:evidence from the Spanish automotive components industry

Within the current business environment, knowledge management, organisational learning and unlearning mechanisms are becoming critical factors in the process of reaching lasting competitive advantages. Our research model employs the competing values framework (Cameron and Quinn, 1999) to empirically assess the influence of the firm's own cultural typology on organisational unlearning. Our hypotheses are tested using a sample of 145 firms drawn from the Spanish automotive components manufacturing sector. The relationships between the constructs are assessed through the use of partial least squares (PLS) path-modelling, a variance-based structural equation modelling technique. The outcomes reveal that certain types of culture exert a higher influence on unlearning than others. This suggests in turn that some cultural typologies are better positioned to face the current turbulent situation than others

An analysis of existing production frameworks for statistical and geographic information: Synergies, gaps and integration

The production of official statistical and geospatial data is often in the hands of highly specialized public agencies that have traditionally followed their own paths and established their own production frameworks. In this article, we present the main frameworks of these two areas and focus on the possibility and need to achieve a better integration between them through the interoperability of systems, processes, and data. The statistical area is well led and has well-defined frameworks. The geospatial area does not have clear leadership and the large number of standards establish a framework that is not always obvious. On the other hand, the lack of a general and common legal framework is also highlighted. Additionally, three examples are offered: the first is the application of the spatial data quality model to the case of statistical data, the second of the application of the statistical process model to the geospatial case, and the third is the use of linked geospatial and statistical data. These examples demonstrate the possibility of transferring experiences/advances from one area to another. In this way, we emphasize the conceptual proximity of these two areas, highlighting synergies, gaps, and potential integration. © 2021 by the authors. Licensee MDPI, Basel, Switzerland
