Search for EC and ECEC processes in Sn and decay of Sn to the excited states of Te
Limits on EC and ECEC processes in Sn and on
decay of Sn to the excited states of Te have
been obtained using a 380 cm HPGe detector and an external source
consisting of natural tin. A limit with 90% C.L. on the Sn half-life of
y for the ECEC(0) transition to the excited
state in Cd (1871.0 keV) has been established. This transition is
discussed in the context of a possible enhancement of the decay rate by several
orders of magnitude given that the ECEC process is nearly degenerate
with an excited state in the daughter nuclide. Prospects for investigating such
a process in future experiments are discussed. The decay
limits for Sn to the excited states of Te were obtained on the
level of y at the 90% C.L.Comment: 17 pages, 5 figure
Measurement of double beta decay of 100Mo to excited states in the NEMO 3 experiment
The double beta decay of 100Mo to the 0^+_1 and 2^+_1 excited states of 100Ru
is studied using the NEMO 3 data. After the analysis of 8024 h of data the
half-life for the two-neutrino double beta decay of 100Mo to the excited 0^+_1
state is measured to be T^(2nu)_1/2 = [5.7^{+1.3}_{-0.9}(stat)+/-0.8(syst)]x
10^20 y. The signal-to-background ratio is equal to 3. Information about energy
and angular distributions of emitted electrons is also obtained. No evidence
for neutrinoless double beta decay to the excited 0^+_1 state has been found.
The corresponding half-life limit is T^(0nu)_1/2(0^+ --> 0^+_1) > 8.9 x 10^22 y
(at 90% C.L.).
The search for the double beta decay to the 2^+_1 excited state has allowed
the determination of limits on the half-life for the two neutrino mode
T^(2nu)_1/2(0^+ --> 2^+_1) > 1.1 x 10^21 y (at 90% C.L.) and for the
neutrinoless mode T^(0nu)_1/2(0^+ --> 2^+_1) > 1.6 x 10^23 y (at 90% C.L.).Comment: 23 pages, 7 figures, 4 tables, submitted to Nucl. Phy

Recent advances in neutrinoless double beta decay search
Even after the discovery of neutrino flavour oscillations, based on data from
atmospheric, solar, reactor, and accelerator experiments, many characteristics
of the neutrino remain unknown. Only the neutrino square-mass differences and
the mixing angle values have been estimated, while the value of each mass
eigenstate still hasn't. Its nature (massive Majorana or Dirac particle) is
still escaping. Neutrinoless double beta decay (-DBD) experimental
discovery could be the ultimate answer to some delicate questions of elementary
particle and nuclear physics. The Majorana description of neutrinos allows the
-DBD process, and consequently either a mass value could be measured or
the existence of physics beyond the standard should be confirmed without any
doubt. As expected, the -DBD measurement is a very difficult field of
application for experimentalists. In this paper, after a short summary of the
latest results in neutrino physics, the experimental status, the R&D projects,

Status of the GAMMA-400 Project
The preliminary design of the new space gamma-ray telescope GAMMA-400 for the
energy range 100 MeV - 3 TeV is presented. The angular resolution of the
instrument, 1-2{\deg} at E{\gamma} ~100 MeV and ~0.01^{\circ} at E{\gamma} >
100 GeV, its energy resolution ~1% at E{\gamma} > 100 GeV, and the proton
rejection factor ~10E6 are optimized to address a broad range of science
topics, such as search for signatures of dark matter, studies of Galactic and
extragalactic gamma-ray sources, Galactic and extragalactic diffuse emission,
gamma-ray bursts, as well as high-precision measurements of spectra of

Высокотехнологичный сектор в мировой и региональной экономике: современные тенденции
The article is devoted to the study of the development of the world high-tech segment in the XXI century. Currently, this segment, while remaining one of the fastest growing, remains one of the most unevenly developing in the geographical aspect. The article shows the growing role of developing countries, especially Chi na and other Asian countries, in the global high-tech production. The authors come to the conclusion that devel oping countries have the potential to further increase their presence in the global high-tech sphere.Статья посвящена исследованию развития мирового высокотехнологичного сег мента в XXI веке. В настоящее время данный сегмент, оставаясь одним из наиболее быстрорасту щих, остается одним из наиболее неравномерно развивающихся в географическом аспекте. В статье показана растущая роль развивающихся стран, прежде всего Китая и других стран Азии, в мировом высокотехнологичном производстве. Авторы приходят к выводу, что развивающиеся страны имеют потенциал дальнейшего наращивания своего присутствия в глобальной высокотехнологичной сфере
Россия-ОАЭ: сотрудничество в сфере высоких технологий
The article analyzes the features, opportunities, problems and prospects of cooperation between the UAE and the Russian Federation in the field of high technology development, especially in the space segment. Both countries are faced with the need to improve their technological level, to find new opportunities in the process of international division of labour and international trade, to enhance and strengthen their regional and/or global role. International cooperation on a bilateral or multilateral basis can help to meet these and other challenges in the long term. The article shows that both countries already have a certain, and quite high, level of scientific and technical development, as well as long-term experience of mutual cooperation in various spheres of economic activity. But modernity poses new challenges in the field of scientific and technological progress, the solution of which often depends on the possibility of long-term sustainable development, social progress, economic success. One of these tasks is the development of space technologies for scientific, innovative, medical, technical and other humanitarian and economic purposes. The author emphasizes that Russia and the UAE seek to intensify their cooperation in this direction to ensure mutual benefit and for a possible positive effect for third countries. The main purpose of the article is to study the current state and current problems faced by Russia and the UAE in the implementation of cooperation in the field of high technology and to identify its promising areas.В статье анализируются особенности, возможности, проблемы и перспективы сотрудничества Объединенных Арабских Эмиратов (ОАЭ) и Российской Федерации в сфере развития высоких технологий, прежде всего в космическом сегменте. The direct interrelation of integration processes in the GCC countries and possibility of activization in the region of hi-tech segments of national economy is shown in article. The author proves the point of view about accumulation of integration activity that confirms, in particular, growth of intraregional commodity turnover almost twice for the last 15 years, and comes to a conclusion about a possibility of hi-tech development of the GCC countries already in the medium termВ статье показана прямая взаимосвязь интеграционных процессов в странах ССАГПЗ и возможности активизации в регионе высокотехнологичных сегментов национальной экономики. Автор обосновывает точку зрения о наращивании интеграционной активности, что подтверждает, в частности, рост внутрирегионального товарооборота практически в 2 раза за последние 15 лет, и приходит к выводу о возможности высокотехнологичного развития стран ССАГПЗ уже в среднесрочной перспективе

The evolution of the world economy at the present stage is carried out on the basis of high-tech development as one of the criteria and catalysts of socio-economic progress in the global, regional and country aspects. This aspect of development is also being updated in the countries of the Arabian Peninsula (Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE), United in the integration block of the cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Persian Gulf, the GCC. The article shows that the GCC countries have an objective need and opportunity for the development of high-tech areas both at the country and at the regional level.Эволюция мировой экономики на современном этапе осуществляется на основе высокотехнологичного развития как одного из критериев и катализаторов социально-экономического прогресса в глобальном, региональном и страновом аспектах. Данный аспект развития актуализируется и в странах Аравийского полуострова (Бахрейн, Кувейт, Катар, Оман, Саудовская Аравия, ОАЭ), объединенных в интеграционный блок Совет сотрудничества арабских государств Персидского залива (ССАГПЗ). В статье показано, что у стран ССАГПЗ есть объективная необходимость и возможность для развития высокотехнологичных направлений как на страновом, так и на региональном уровнях
