Detección y conteo de personas, a partir de mapas de profundidad cenitales capturados con cámaras TOF

El objetivo de este proyecto es la detección y conteo de personas, a partir de imágenes de profundidad obtenidas mediante un sensor basado en tiempo de vuelo (ToF), situado en posición cenital en un entorno interior. Para conseguir este objetivo se han estudiado diferentes trabajos en este área y se ha implementado una solución basada en la extracción de características relacionadas con la superficie de la persona vista desde el sensor, y la clasificación posterior mediante el análisis de componentes principales (PCA). El algoritmo desarrollado se ha evaluado sobre una base de datos grabada y etiquetada para ello, obteniendo una tasa de aciertos en torno al 95 %.The aim of this project is the detection and counting of people, using depth images obtained by a sensor based on time of flight (TOF), located in zenith position in an indoor environment. To achieve this, several works in this area have been studied, and a solution has been proposed. It is based on the extraction of features from the surface of the person seen from the sensor, and their clasification using the principal components analysis(PCA). Who are diverse?: conceptualisations of cultural diversity in schools behind desks and at chalkface

This paper analyses the meanings and values attached to‘culturaldiversity’as a descriptive and interpretative category in the fieldof education in Spain, including its application to define differentgroups in elementary and primary schools there. It reports from acomparative study that considers the discursive production of‘cultural diversity’in Spanish academia together with thediscourse of teaching staff from three schools with specificprogrammes aimed at cultural diversity. Results attest to threedifferent uses of‘cultural diversity’: individualisation, differenceand inequalities, as well as two different assessments: enrichmentand problem. It also analyses how the discourse of teachers ismore complex than those of the academy, because, among otherreasons, they link diversity with situations produced by socialinequality, by the fact that many students are migrants, and by adifferent ethnic condition. Habilidad social y funcionamiento social en pacientes con esquizofrenia

Se indaga la relación entre habilidad social y funcionamiento social en 100 pacientes diagnosticados de esquizofrenia. Se evalúan las habilidades sociales mediante el Test de Interacción Social Simulada (SSIT) y las diferentes dimensiones del funcionamiento social, a partir de la Escala de Funcionamiento Social (SFS). Los resultados indican que las habilidades sociales están significativamente relacionadas con el funcionamiento social de los pacientes con esquizofrenia, indicando que las personas con mayor habilidad social tienden a presentar un mayor funcionamiento social y que esta correlación se produce fundamentalmente a expensas de dos de las dimensiones del funcionamiento social: comunicación y empleoThe relations between Social Skill and Social Functioning were examined in a group of 100 schizophrenic patients. Social skill and Social functioning were assessed with The Simulated Social Interacction Test (SSIT) and the Social Functioning Scale (SFS) respectively. The results indicated that social skills were significantly related to social functioning of patients with schizophrenia. Conservation status and protection measures for Draba hispanica subsp. lebrunii P. Monts., endemic to the Altocarrionés subsector (Castile and Leon, Spain)

Acta Botanica Gallica es continuada por Botany Letters[EN] Draba hispanica subsp. lebrunii is an endemic plant restricted to a small area of the south-western part of the Nature Park and SCI called “FuentesCarrionas and Fuente Cobre-Montaña Palentina” in the Castile and Leon Region of Spain, included in several regional and national protection catalogues. This paper provides a demographic study of the currently known populations, with the aim of reviewing the conservation status of the taxon in accordance with IUCN criteria, as well as detecting risk factors and providing appropriate management measures to guarantee survival of the taxon. Furthermore, the creation of a Micro-Reserve for Flora is proposed, as a specially protected area in the zonewhere the most abundant and best preserved population is located. Precise locations for all the previously known sites and others are provided through label-ling by means of GPS technology. The current situation of the populations and changes in them are also analysed[FR] Draba hispanica subsp. lebrunii est un endémisme restreint à un petit territoire de la partie sud-occidentale du Parc naturel et SIC de “Fuentes Carrionas y Fuente Cobre-Montaña Palentina” (Castille-et-Léon, Espagne), inclus dans divers catalogues de protection aux niveaux régional et national. Ici, nous présentons une étude démographique des populations connues jusqu’à présent, dans le but de réviser le statut de conservation du taxon suivant les critères UICN, de détecter les facteurs de menace et d’apporter des mesures de gestion adéquates pour garantir la survie du taxon. En même temps, on propose la création d’une microréserve de flore, considérée comme une aire de protection spéciale, là où se trouve la population la plus abondante et la mieux conservée du taxon.
