    Transici贸n al mundo laboral de estudiantes universitarios con discapacidad: experiencia de un programa formativo

    ABSTRACTThe transition from university to work tends to be a critical stage, as students find themselves between two different worlds. This creates a complex and unstable situation, and in the case of disabled persons the difficulty is even greater. This article briefly presents a training program put in place to facilitate the employment of disabled university students. The main objective of the activity was to provide information and develop job searching skills in a group of university students with physical and/or sensory disabilities and who were enrolled in the School of Education at the University of Granada, Spain. A practical approach was taken to the subject, in the form of a course using new information technologies. The course was designed to enhance the students' acquisition of the necessary knowledge and skills for finding the most suitable job for their personal and professional characteristics, thus helping them set up a systematic and effective job search The results of the programme evaluation indicate that the initiative was interesting and useful to the participants. The students emphasised the quantity and variety of the information obtained and that their participation in the program was a valuable experience.RESUMENLa transici贸n de estudiantes universitarios al mundo laboral se caracteriza por ser una etapa cr铆tica, pues el alumno se sit煤a entre dos mundos, lo que la hace inestable y compleja, cuesti贸n que se hace mucho m谩s dif铆cil en el caso de las personas con discapacidad. En el art铆culo se presenta de forma sint茅tica la implementaci贸n de un programa de formaci贸n para facilitar la inserci贸n laboral de estudiantes universitarios con discapacidad. El objetivo principal de la actividad a desarrollar fue informar y capacitar sobre t茅cnicas de b煤squeda de empleo a un grupo de estudiantes universitarios con discapacidad f铆sica y/o sensorial, matriculados en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educaci贸n de la Universidad de Granada. Se hizo una aproximaci贸n pr谩ctica, a modo de curso, utilizando nuevas tecnolog铆as de acceso a la informaci贸n, tratando de potenciar en ellos la adquisici贸n de conocimientos y habilidades necesarias para buscar aquel empleo que mejor se adecuase a sus caracter铆sticas personales y profesionales, ayud谩ndoles, de esta forma, a organizar una b煤squeda sistem谩tica y efectiva.     Afrontamiento, estr茅s y bienestar psicol贸gico en estudiantes de educaci贸n social de nuevo ingreso

    The aim of this study was to determine what coping strategies were used by a sample of 135 Social Education students in response to situations that generate stress during the first year of university studies. Also of interest was to determine the students' level of psychological wellbeing and the relation that this factor might have with their perceived coping efficacy. The findings indicate that difficulties related to the academic context produce more stress than do personal problems, and that social support and problem solving are the coping strategies most frequently used. The students show a moderate level of well-being and consider their coping strategies to be effective.El presente estudio pretend铆a determinar las estrategias de afrontamiento utilizadas por una muestra de 135 estudiantes de Educaci贸n Social ante las situaciones que generan m谩s estr茅s en el primer curso de universidad. Tambi茅n se quiso conocer el nivel de bienestar psicol贸gico del alumnado y su posible relaci贸n con la eficacia percibida en el afrontamiento. Los resultados indicaban que las dificultades relacionadas con el contexto acad茅mico producen m谩s estr茅s que los problemas personales, siendo el apoyo social y la resoluci贸n de problemas las estrategias de afrontamiento m谩s empleadas. El alumnado mostraba un nivel medio de bienestar y se percibe eficaz en el afrontamiento

    [ES] La Universidad espa帽ola viene experimentando cambios profundos en todos sus 谩mbitos y facetas que cuestionan las formas habituales de abordar la docencia y el aprendizaje, y tambi茅n la tutor铆a y orientaci贸n universitarias, haciendo de 茅stas 煤ltimas una necesidad incapaz de ser atendida desde f贸rmulas tradicionales. La creaci贸n de unidades de orientaci贸n a nivel de centro universitario constituye una iniciativa todav铆a no muy extendida. 脡stas implican una planificaci贸n, dise帽o y posterior ejecuci贸n de acciones de orientaci贸n dirigidas a todos los estudiantes y profesores de un centro universitario. El apoyo al profesorado, la coordinaci贸n entre los distintos agentes universitarios que pueden estar relacionados con un mismo tipo de acciones, y el aprovechamiento 贸ptimo de los recursos disponibles caracterizan este modo particular de organizar la orientaci贸n. En el presente art铆culo se describe la Unidad de Orientaci贸n de Centro de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educaci贸n de la Universidad de Granada, el contexto legal, pol铆tico, conceptual/ideol贸gico e institucional en el que surge, su estructura organizativa y las acciones llevadas a cabo mediante un modelo de funcionamiento por programas. Por 煤ltimo, se realiza una valoraci贸n de las limitaciones y potencialidades encontradas durante los dos primeros a帽os de su implantaci贸n concluyendo la importancia de la dinamizaci贸n de la orientaci贸n en el centro, del trabajo coordinado del profesorado y la satisfacci贸n de necesidades emergentes del alumnado, la necesidad afrontar resistencias diversas propias de la vida universitaria, y el valor de las unidades de orientaci贸n de centro como elemento de calidad de la educaci贸n superior.[EN] Spanish universities are experiencing profound changes in every sphere and aspect, which call into question their customary approaches to teaching and learning, as well as university tutoring and guidance, making these a need which cannot be met by traditional methods. Creating guidance units at a specific centre or faculty within a particular University is an initiative which is not yet widespread. These units require a planning, a design and a subsequent execution of guidance activities for all the students and teachers of a specific university centre. This particular way of counselling organising is characterised by the support for the teaching staff, the coordination among the different university actors who may be involved in a given type of actions, and optimum leverage of all the available resources. This paper describes the Guidance Unit of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Granada, the legal, political, conceptual/ideological and institutional context in which it emerges, its organisational structure and the actions carried out through a model of functioning by programmes. Finally, there is an evaluation of the limitations and potentials found in the first two years of implementation, concluding in favour of the importance of increasing the dynamism of guidance in the centre, coordinated work by the teaching staff, and the meeting of the needs which arise among students, the need to deal with different types of resistance which are natural to university life, and the value of centre guidance units as a quality element in Higher education.Villena Mart铆nez, MD.; Mu帽oz Garc铆a, A.; Polo S谩nchez, MT. One scale measured subjects attitudes towards people with disabilities, Actitudes hacia las personas con discapacidad (Verdugo, 聽Jenaro 聽y 聽Arias, 1995). This 聽scale 聽were 聽administered 聽to 聽487 聽university students from Magisterio (Audici贸n y Lenguaje, Magisterio de Educaci贸n Especial, Magisterio de Educaci贸n Musical, Magisterio de Educaci贸n F铆sica), Licenciatura en Psicopedagog铆a, Psicolog铆a y Educaci贸n F铆sica. The results showed that students have positive attitudes towards people with disabilities which can be due to the competence of their colleagues with disabilities, to the actions undertaken by the services of counseling or to other pending reasons of study.RESUMENEste 聽art铆culo 聽recoge 聽informaci贸n 聽sobre 聽las 聽actitudes 聽que presentan 聽los 聽estudiantes 聽universitarios granadinos hacia la discapacidad. La escala que se utiliz贸 para medir estas actitudes fue la Escalade Actitudes hacia las personas con discapacidad (Verdugo, Jenaro y Arias, 1995). Se aplic贸 a un grupo de 488 estudiantes universitarios de distintas titulaciones de Magisterio (Audici贸n y Lengua-je, 聽Educaci贸n Especial, Educaci贸n Musical, Educaci贸n 聽F铆sica), Licenciatura 聽en Psicopedagog铆a,Psicolog铆a y Educaci贸n F铆sica. Jest on otrzymywany w wyniku kondensacji produkt贸w hydrolizy TEOS (tetraetyloortokrzemian) na micelarnej matrycy utworzonej z niejonowego surfaktantu Pluronic P123. Materia艂 ten odznacza si臋 znaczn膮 powierzchni膮 w艂a艣ciw膮 rz臋du 1000 m2/g oraz obj臋to艣ci膮 por贸w i mikropor贸w odpowiednio 1,0 i 0,08 cm3/g. Unikalne w艂a艣cio艣ci SBA-15 sprawiaj膮, 偶e jest on stosowany w systemach dostarczania lek贸w (DDSs). Zadaniem tych uk艂ad贸w (DDSs) jest sta艂e dostarczanie substancji leczniczych, co eliminuje ilo艣膰 przyjmowanych dawek lek贸w przez pacjent贸w. Rozprawa po艣wi臋cona jest badaniu wp艂ywu funkcjonalizacji no艣nika z u偶yciem trialkoksysilan贸w (wprowadzenie grupy aminowej lub sulfonowej) na proces adsorpcji chlorowodorku papaweryny, winianu metoprololu, ketoprofenu oraz teofiliny. Pr贸bki zawieraj膮ce lek zaadsorbowany na no艣niku badano z u偶yciem sorptometrii azotu, analizy elementarnej, DSC, XRD, FTIR, TEM. Najwi臋ksz膮 ilo艣膰 zaadsorbowanego leku obserwownao w przypadku pr贸bki aminomodyfikowanego no艣nika SBA-15 zawieraj膮cego ketoprofen. Uwalnianie substancji leczniczych z no艣nik贸w funkcjonalizowanych przebiega艂o w spos贸b spowolniony, w odniesieniu do no艣nika niemodyfikowanego. Ponadto, w celu optymalizacji procesu uwalniania substancji leczniczych z uk艂adu no艣nik-lek, prowadzono formulacj臋 postaci leku (proszek, granulat, tabletka).SBA-15 material is a mesoporous silicon dioxide with arranged channels structure. This material is obtained in condensation of TEOS (tetraethoxyorthosilicate) followed by hydrolysis with Pluronic P123 as a nonionic surfactant template. SBA-15 material is characterized by large BET surface area of 1000 m2/g and by the volume of pores and micropores of 1,0 and 0,08 cm3/g, respectively. These unique properties make that SBA-15 material is used in drug delivery systems (DDSs). The delivery of drugs with constant rate, which eliminates intake of drug by the patients a number of times, is the aim of DDSs.In this work influence of functionalization of the carrier surface with trialkoxysilanes (introduction of amine and sulfonate groups) on the adsorption of papaverine hydrochloride, metoprolol tartrate, ketoprofen and theophylline was checked. The samples of carrier-drug complexes were characterized by use of such analytical techniques as: nitrogen sorptometry, elemental analysis, DSC, XRD, FTIR and TEM. The largest amount of adsorbed drug was observed during adsorption of ketoprofen in the aminomodified SBA-15. The drug release profiles from the modified carriers showed prolonged time of release whereas the profile of the release from non-modified SBA-15 matrix indicated much faster release.Moreover, to optimize the process of drug release from the carrier-drug complexes the drug formulation such as powders, tablets or granulates were obtained
