In the master thesis, we focused on the new pedagogical approach working with children called NTC method of learning, which is an abbreviation for the Nikola Tesa Center and original comes from Serbia (author dr. Ranko Rajović). The program systematically directs parents and educators to activities that have a good influence on the formation and consolidation of brain connections. The purpose of the master thesis was to determine wheather there are differences in the physical abilities of children who are doing exercises on a daily basis according to the NTC learning method and children who do not do this. By analyzing the results, we wanted to check wheather there were differences within the experimental and control group by gender. The survey included 111 children aged 4-6 from the kindergartens Zelena jama and Škofljica. Children from the experimental group (kindergarten Zelena jama) worked out exercises each day, which were prepared by dr. Ranko Rajović. The children who were the control group (kindergarten Škofljica) did not do this. With the criteria for assessing the motor skills, which was also prepared by an expert, the author of the NTC program dr. Ranko Rajović we evaluated the motor abilities at the beginning and at the end of the study. Data was processed with Excel Microsoft 2016 and the SPSS program for statistical data processing. The analysis showed that in tests which we put in the group of balance (walking backwards and standing on one leg), statictically significant progress was proved in both groups (experimental and control group). But the progress was greater in the experimental group. In tests, with which we checked the ability to coordinate movements, we found out that higher progress was in experimental group in all four tests, but just in one test (juping over obstacle forward) we proved statistical progress. During the fine motor tests, we included squares drawing and lacing ties. Analyze showed that the experimental group made statistically significant improvements in binding the laces, while in the case of drawing the square we could not prove this. With additional analysis we also found out that there are no statistically significant differences within the groups between the sexes. We also want to contribute to the development of new pedagogical approaches and to raise awareness among parents, pedagogues, educators and all those who want to work with children on a new pedagogical approach that positively affects pre-school children

Pri izdelavi diplomske naloge so bili uporabljeni programi Blender, Substance Painter in igralni pogon Unreal Engine 4.The use of computer technologies as a medium for creation is gaining ground in contemporary art. Together with the internet, computer technologies enable a virtual viewing of already existing works of art. The diploma thesis presents the process of 3D modeling for the presentation of paintings as 3D scenes in order to increase the user\u27s interaction with the painting in a virtual view of it. The thesis presents the work process, from the selection of paintings, the production of sketches for the production of models and scenes, and the production of textures that emphasize the painting style of selected paintings. Blender, Substance Painter and Unreal Engine 4 were used in the preparation of the diploma thesis

Approach, avoidance, and their conflict: the problem of anchoring

To understand the neurobiology of indi-vidual differences in approach and avoid-ance behavior, we must anchor constructs at the behavioral level to the long-term global sensitivities of the neural systems that give rise to the observed stable pat-terns of behavior. We will argue that this requires not only appropriate data at both the neural and behavioral levels but also appropriate account to be taken of inter-actions at the intervening level of the conceptual nervous system (Hebb, 1949; Gray, 1975). In particular, in accounting for approach and avoidance behavior we must include consideration of the distinc

High soluble transferrin receptor in patients with heart failure:a measure of iron deficiency and a strong predictor of mortality

Background: Iron deficiency (ID) is frequent in heart failure (HF), linked with exercise intolerance and poor prognosis. Intravenous iron repletion improves clinical status in HF patients with LVEF≤45%. However, uncertainty exists about the accuracy of serum biomarkers in diagnosing ID. Study Aims: 1) to identify the iron biomarker with the greatest accuracy for the diagnosis of ID in bone marrow in patients with ischaemic HF; 2) to establish the prevalence of ID using this biomarker and its prognostic value in HF patients. Methods and Results: Bone marrow was stained for iron in 30 patients with ischaemic HF with LVEF≤45% and 10 healthy controls, and ID was diagnosed for 0‐1 grades (Gale scale). 791 patients with HF with LVEF≤45% were prospectively followed‐up for 3 years. Serum ferritin, transferrin saturation, soluble transferrin receptor (sTfR) were assessed as iron biomarkers. Most patients with HF (25, 83%) had ID in bone marrow, but none of the controls (p<0.001). Serum sTfR had the best accuracy in predicting ID in bone marrow (AUC: 0.920, 95%CI: 0.761‐0.987, for cut‐off 1.25 mg/L sensitivity 84%, specificity 100%). Serum sTfR was ≥1.25 mg/L in 47% of HF patients, in 56% and 46% of anaemics and non‐anaemics, respectively (p<0.05). The reclassification methods revealed that serum sTfR significantly added the prognostic value to the baseline prognostic model, and to the greater extent than plasma NT‐proBNP. Based on internal derivation and validation procedures, serum sTfR ≥1.41 mg/L was the optimal threshold for predicting 3‐year mortality, independent of other established variables. Conclusions: High serum sTfR accurately reflects depleted iron stores in bone marrow in patients with HF, and identifies those with a high 3‐year mortality

V diplomski nalogi je podrobno opisan in kritično analiziran celotni maloprodajni proces, s posebej izpostavljenimi ključnimi kritičnimi točkami znotraj tega procesa. In our diploma work we focused on the retail process in the selected company and the issue of protection of personal data within this process. In the introduction part we described the environment in which the company is operating and presented the theoretical background of our work. The selected company is operating on the market as a manufacturer and distributor of food supplements. They sell their products to end costumers through their retail channel. We described the whole retail process in detail and made a critical analysis in which we expose the critical key points within this process. We focused on one of those critical points - the protection of the personal data. The research that we have done on protection of the personal data issue has given us the results that we presented in the discussion. We also presented the best possible solutions for all the critical points we discovered in the process

In the thesis, we separate operators which have an effect on a vector space in such a way that they cause a decomposition of that space into a direct sum of minimal invariant subspaces. These kinds of operators are completely reducible. Invariant subspaces are then defined. We define induced operators that affect them to such extent that we can introduce their eigenspaces and root subspaces (generalized eigenspaces) and judge in which cases these are the same and what the consequences of that fact are. By using this procedure, we can separate the operators on those which cause a decomposition of space on only one-dimensional invariant subspaces and on those of which the decomposition of the space they affect on is different. The end result of this thesis is a treatment of the tool used to describe that kind of decomposition

Diplomsko delo obravnava sodobnega slovenskega pesnika Muanisa Sinanovića in njegovo rabo metafor v zbirkah Dvovid in Krhke karavane. The thesis examines contemporary Slovenian poet Muanis Sinanović and his use of metaphors in the collections Dvovid and Krhke karavane. The theoretical part summarizes the characteristics of modern Slovenian poetry, followed by an overview of the central theories of metaphor (substitution, interaction and cognitive), the grammatical division of metaphors and the division into traditional and modern (or absolute) metaphors. In the main part, metaphors from the considered collections are first divided according to reference (self-reference, address, verbal metaphors in the indefinite article, genitive metaphors and others), and then according to dominant motifs. The poet in question often uses modern and absolute metaphors, which makes the interpretation quite demandingthe attachment of the body to the landscape along with transformation and identification are often repeated
