    Import 05/08/2014Cílem bakalářské práce bylo vytvoření návrhu IT vybavení pro firmu zabývající se návrhy průmyslových staveb se zaměřením na Cloud computingové technologie. V práci jsou popsány pojmy jako virtualizace a Cloud computing. V první části práce jsou rozebrána teoretická východiska výše zmíněných technologií. V praktické časti je provedena analýza dosavadního vybavení společnosti. Dále jsou vytvořeny návrhy pro inovace IT vybavení pro danou firmu a jsou zhodnocena jejich pozitiva a negativa. Nakonec bylo vytvořeno jedno celkové řešení a určena přibližná cena za inovaci.The objective of this thesis was to create a design of IT equipment for company dealing with the design of industrial structures with a focus on Cloud computing technology. The thesis describes the concepts such as virtualization and Cloud computing. The first part of the thesis deals with theoretical bases of these technologies. The practical part is an analysis of the current equipment of the company. Then are created designs for Innovation of IT equipment for the company and assessed their positives and negatives. V práci jsou popsány pojmy jako Business intelligence, reporting a jsou zde popsány i systémy, které s tématem business inteligence souvisejí.     Characterizing the automatic radon flux transfer standard system autoflux: laboratory calibration and field experiments

    High-quality, long-term measurements of terrestrial trace gas emissions are important for investigations of atmospheric, geophysical and biological processes to help mitigate climate change and protect the environment and the health of citizens. High-frequency terrestrial fluxes of the radioactive noble gas 222Rn, in particular, are useful for validating radon flux maps and used to evaluate the performance of regional atmospheric models, to improve greenhouse gas emission inventories (by the radon tracer method) and to determine radon priority areas for radiation protection goals. A new automatic radon flux system (Autoflux) was developed as a transfer standard (TS) to assist with establishing a traceability chain for field-based radon flux measurements. The operational characteristics and features of the system were optimized based on a literature review of existing flux measurement systems. To characterize and calibrate Autoflux, a bespoke radon exhalation bed (EB) facility was also constructed with the intended purpose of providing a constant radon exhalation under a specific set of controlled laboratory conditions. The calibrated Autoflux was then used to transfer the derived calibration to a second continuous radon flux system under laboratory conditions; both instruments were then tested in the field and compared with modeled fluxes. This paper presents (i) a literature review of state-of-the-art radon flux systems and EB facilities; (ii) the design, characterization and calibration of a reference radon EB facility; (iii) the design, characterization and calibration of the Autoflux system; (iv) the calibration of a second radon flux system (INTE_Flux) using the EB and Autoflux, with a total uncertainty of 9% (k=1) for an average radon flux of ~1800mBqm-2s-1 under controlled laboratory conditions; and (v) an example application of the calibrated TS and INTE_Flux systems for in situ radon flux measurements, which are then compared with simulated radon fluxes. Calibration of the TS under different environmental conditions and at lower reference fluxes will be the subject of a separate future investigation.Peer ReviewedPostprint (published version

    Epilepsy is chronic neurological disease characterized by occurrence of spontaneous recurrent seizures affecting approximately 1% of people. One of the most common causes of epilepsy in adults is a stroke. The precise mechanism of development of vascular epilepsy is not known, and thus no reliable biomarker of postischemic epileptogenesis currently exists. Blood-brain barrier (BBB) impairment is phenomenon observed in several pathologies including stroke after which epilepsy often develops. Blood components such as albumin or thrombin have been experimentally shown to possess the capacity to increase excitability which results in seizures and epileptogenesis. We hypothesize that severity of the BBB breakdown during first weeks after the stroke can be used as a biomarker of postischemic epileptogenesis. This paper describes free MATLAB based software /Gd-Tracker/ and methodology developed for assessment of BBB permeability from magnetic resonance (MR) scans based on statistical voxel to voxel comparison of sequences with and without Gd-DTPA contrast. This software allows to evaluate extent and magnitude of impaired BBB region and thus serve as a tool for visualization and quantification of BBB breakdown

    Low-level radon activity concentration—A metroRADON international intercomparison

    An international comparison of continuous monitors measuring radon activity concentration was performed to validate the traceability of the European radon calibration facilities. It was carried out by comparing the secondary standards used by these previous facilities, ranging from 100 Bq·m-3 to 300 Bq·m-3. Secondary standards were individually compared to a secondary reference device previously calibrated in a reference radon atmosphere traceable to a primary standard. The intercomparison was organized by the National Institute for Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Protection (SUJCHBO) in the period from October 2019 to April 2020 within the European Metrology Program for Innovation and Research (EMPIR), JRP-Contract 16ENV10 MetroRADON.     Mechanical behavior of SMD solder joint soldered under nitrogen atmosphere

    Hlavním cílem této práce bylo prozkoumat mechanické chování SMD zapájených v dusíkové atmosféře. Bylo použito několik koncentrací dusíkové atmosféry. Střihová síla byla stanovena jako parametr pro určení spolehlivosti pájeného spoje. Různé velikosti SMD (0402,0805 a 1206)byly připájeny na vzorku skládajícího se ze základního materiálu FR4 s povrchovou úpravou HAL. Pro analýzu a zjišťování příčiny chování pájeného spoje byla použita optická kontrola a inspekce pomocí rentgnenu.Main aim of this work was investigate mechanical behavior of SMD soldered under nitrogen atmosphere. Several concentrations of nitrogen in soldering area were used. Shear force was established as mechanical parameter for describing of reliability of solder joint. Different sizes of SMD (0402, 0805 and 1206) were assembled on sample made from FR4 base material with HAL surface finish. Optical and X-Ray inspection were used for determination of reason of solder joint mechanical behavior
