An efficient, high quality method for rendering irregular, quadratic, volume data
We introduce here an extension of the work done by Jones [1] on the direct surface rendering (DSR) algorithm for volume data. The original D.S.R. algorithm operates over linear, voxel based data giving high-resolution ray-traced images of iso-surfaces within a volume. The work presented here extends the rendering algorithm to work with data based on quadric shape functions over a mesh constructed of tetrahedral cells. We demonstrate the method applied to Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations of fluid flow, to render high quality isosurface images of scalar datafields

Medpredmetno povezovanje Tehnike in glasbe z obliko projektnega učnega dela po modelu
PUD-BJ, od ideje do izdelka, pomaga uvajati učence k poklicnemu usposabljanju tehnike.
Eden od načinov projektnega dela se izvaja vsako leto v okviru mednarodnega projekta
„HOMO U JISTRO“, kjer se ohranja in obuja istrska glasbena dediščina. Učenci, stari od 6
do 11 let, iz koprskih šol, ter učenci iz Buj in Doline pri Trstu, oziroma Katinare so se pod
vodstvom Konstantina Radoslava srečali z izročilom okolja, z izdelovanjem istrskega glasbila
- Koruzni violin. Koruzni violin ali Koruzne goslice je ljudsko otroško glasbilo, oziroma
nekoč priljubljena otroška zvočna igrača. Nekoč so ga izdelovali otroci sami. Osnovna
dejavnost otrok je igra. Glasba pa je in je bila spremljevalka otroške igre. Hkrati pa se otrok
z njo tudi igra, jo raziskuje, muzicira, se poigrava z zvoki: trobi, piska, ropota, gode, brenka,
tolče, oziroma dela zvoke z različnimi predmeti. Kadar je bilo otrokom na paši dolgčas so iz
dveh koruznih stebel naredili goslice. Eno steblo je služilo za gosli, drugo za lok. Delali so jih
predvsem v jeseni (zrela koruza). Zvok koruznega violina je cvileč in hreščav
Universal gaming plan
V tomto článku je popsána koncepce univerzálního herního pánu, který se může využít
zejména pro figurkové hry a pro hry s příběhem. Článek se zaměřuje konkrétně na tvorbu
skládací podložky, která je hlavním prvkem univerzálního herního plánu. Tento výrobek byl
prozatím tvořen v předmětu Školní praktika A.In this article is described the concept of universal gaming plan, which can be used especially
for miniatures games and story games. The article focuses specifically on the creation of a
assemble pad, which is the main element of the universal game plan. This product was being
formed in the course Teaching Practice A
Visualization of archeological sites
This contribution describes the progress that has been achieved in the early stage of the project for rendering and animation of the archaeological site of circular structure in Tesetice, Czech Republic. Application for creating interactive presentations
In this work we deal with applications that are used to create interactive presentations. First,
just to name and describe an interactive didactic technique, then the individual interactive
presentations that are usually used in the ICT (Information and Communication
Technologies). The main part of this work was the analysis of interactive simulation software
in the art. After consultation and review, we chose the simulation and describe the products
that we expect that it would be best for students in the learning process.V bakalárskej práci sme sa zaoberali aplikáciami, ktoré nám slúžia na tvorbu interaktívnych
prezentácií. Najskôr sme vymenovali a popísali interaktívnu didaktickú techniku, potom
jednotlivé interaktívne prezentácie ktoré sa najčastejšie využívajú na predmete IKT
(Informačno Komunikačné Technológie). Hlavnou časťou tejto práce bol rozbor
interaktívnych simulačných softvérov v oblasti techniky. Po konzultovaní a prehodnotení sme
vybrali a popísali tie simulačné produkty, ktoré predpokladáme, že by boli najvýhodnejšie
pre študentov vo vyučovacom procese

Impact of connection point of alternative energy sources to the size of short circuit current in the distribution network
Nowadays it is effort to use as much as possible renewable (alternative) sources of electricity based on
the sun radiation (biomass, hydro, wind or solar power). These plants are environmentally friendly
and do not pollute the environment as much as it was in traditional coal power plants. These sources
are at present in a large number were connected to the existing distribution network. Due to the
increase of these sources in distribution networks is necessary to examine their impact on the overall
operation of the network as in normal operation as well as a fault condition. The aim of this paper is
to point out of impact location of connection newly built alternative energy sources, especially
biomass power plants (BPP) to the size of short-circuit current during fault in the distribution
network. This paper describes possible connection of these sources into power system, short
theoretical knowledge for short circuit calculation in distribution network and simulation in program
Matlab / Simulink
