    Este proyecto tiene como principal objetivo poner en práctica los conocimientos adquiridos tanto en las clases del Máster en Gestión de la Prevención de Riesgos Laborales, Calidad y Medio Ambiente, como en las prácticas realizadas en la empresa Fremap. En ella pude desarrollar de manera práctica parte de los conocimientos adquiridos en el Máster, centrando mi actividad en la Prevención de Riesgos Laborales, en cada una de las especialidades pertenecientes y principalmente las de Seguridad Industrial e Higiene Industrial, y en menor medida Ergonomía y Psicosociología aplicada. En la parte de Medio Ambiente no hubo ocasión de poner en práctica los conocimientos adquiridos durante el curso.     Classification-based Deep Neural Network Architecture for Collaborative Filtering Recommender Systems

    This paper proposes a scalable and original classification-based deep neural architecture. Its collaborative filtering approach can be generalized to most of the existing recommender systems, since it just operates on the ratings dataset. The learning process is based on the binary relevant/non-relevant vote and the binary voted/non-voted item information. This data reduction provides a new level of abstraction and it makes possible to design the classification-based architecture. In addition to the original architecture, its prediction process has a novel approach: it does not need to make a large number of predictions to get recommendations. Instead to run forward the neural network for each prediction, our approach runs forward the neural network just once to get a set of probabilities in its categorical output layer. The proposed neural architecture has been tested by using the MovieLens and FilmTrust datasets. A state-of-the-art baseline that outperforms current competitive approaches has been used. Results show a competitive recommendation quality and an interesting quality improvement on large number of recommendations, consistent with the architecture design. The architecture originality makes it possible to address a broad range of future works

    Comprehensive Evaluation of Matrix Factorization Models for Collaborative Filtering Recommender Systems

    Matrix factorization models are the core of current commercial collaborative filtering Recommender Systems. This paper tested six representative matrix factorization models, using four collaborative filtering datasets. Experiments have tested a variety of accuracy and beyond accuracy quality measures, including prediction, recommendation of ordered and unordered lists, novelty, and diversity. Results show each convenient matrix factorization model attending to their simplicity, the required prediction quality, the necessary recommendation quality, the desired recommendation novelty and diversity, the need to explain recommendations, the adequacy of assigning semantic interpretations to hidden factors, the advisability of recommending to groups of users, and the need to obtain reliability values. To ensure the reproducibility of the experiments, an open framework has been used, and the implementation code is provided

    Meso-Neoproterozoic basic-intermediate mafic granulites (metabasites) from the ∼1 Ga granulitic southwestern Oaxacan complex, Mexico, crustal evolution and phase equilibria modeling

    Altres ajuts: acords transformatius de la UABThe basement of eastern Mexico is made up of Grenvillian granulite-facies metamorphic rocks, which constitute an inferred microcontinent named Oaxaquia. Proto-Oaxaquia oceanic arc reconstructions are related to the transition from Columbia to Rodinia supercontinents (∼1.5 Ga). This study focuses on the petrography, geochemistry, and phase equilibria modeling of metabasites from the southwestern Oaxacan Complex, the largest Oaxaquia outcrop. Southwestern Oaxacan Complex protoliths mainly correspond to gabbro/basalt. They constitute an assemblage apart from the rest of the Oaxacan Complex metabasites due to their Ti enrichment and SiO2 depletion related to post-magmatic/metamorphic processes. Southern study site metabasites correspond to the primitive root of the arc, mostly related to a divergent geotectonic setting. The other metabasites are related to the magmatic back/forearc active margin between proto-Oaxaquia and Amazonia craton. Phase equilibria modeling point to Zapotecan (last Grenvillian cycle) metamorphic peak conditions of 850 ± 25 °C and 1.0 ± 0.15 GPa from one garnet-amphibole bearing metabasite, and a later hydration episode (post-Grenvillian) of 760 ± 10 °C and 0.8 ± 0.20 GPa derived from one amphibole bearing metabasite. The time of incipient partial melting of the southwestern Oaxacan Complex is a pre-Zapotecan event (∼1 Ga). Mineral textures do not display significant processes related to the post-Zapotecan metamorphic retrogression, and only a few whole-rock light rare element patterns display strong enrichments

    La producción del banano que se genera en las ncas, tiene como promedio producir 2800 racimos por ha/año dentro del municipio de la Zona Bananera en el departamento del Magdalena, los cultivos están establecidos desde extensiones de 5 hectáreas hasta extensiones de más de 200 hectáreas lo que facilita la extracción de la fruta en altas cantidades para la comercializadora durante todos los días de la semana. La fruta es cosechada y procesada de lunes a viernes en cada una de las plantas empacadoras de dichas ncas, generando más 185.000 cajas semanales, el proceso de empaque de la fruta se genera mediante. Cosecha, recibo de fruta en barcadilla, desmane, selección, clasicación, sellado, aplicación mezcla postcosecha, pesaje, empaque y paletizado. Después de este proceso se culmina la primera parte de la operación en donde las ncas cumplen con su función, el resto ya es parte de los procesos de la comercialización. De igual manera el establecimiento debe cumplir con los requisitos del Invima, que se maneja bajo las condiciones sanitarias adecuadas. Donde cada una de las edicaciones debe estar construida en proceso secuencial (recepción insumos hasta almacenamiento de producto terminado) y existe una adecuada separación física de aquellas áreas donde se realizan operaciones de producción susceptibles de ser contaminadas, evitan la contaminación cruzada y se encuentran claramente señalizadas.The banana production that is generated in the farms, has an average of producing 2800 bunches per ha / year within the municipality of the Banana Zone in the department of Magdalena, the crops are established from extensions of 5 hectares to extensions of more than 200 hectares which facilitates the extraction of the fruit in high quantities for the marketer during every day of the week.     Deep variational models for collaborative filtering-based recommender systems

    Deep learning provides accurate collaborative filtering models to improve recommender system results. Deep matrix factorization and their related collaborative neural networks are the state of the art in the field; nevertheless, both models lack the necessary stochasticity to create the robust, continuous, and structured latent spaces that variational autoencoders exhibit. On the other hand, data augmentation through variational autoencoder does not provide accurate results in the collaborative filtering field due to the high sparsity of recommender systems. Our proposed models apply the variational concept to inject stochasticity in the latent space of the deep architecture, introducing the variational technique in the neural collaborative filtering field. This method does not depend on the particular model used to generate the latent representation. In this way, this approach can be applied as a plugin to any current and future specific models. The proposed models have been tested using four representative open datasets, three different quality measures, and state-of-the-art baselines. The results show the superiority of the proposed approach in scenarios where the variational enrichment exceeds the injected noise effect. Additionally, a framework is provided to enable the reproducibility of the conducted experiments

    Cartonería Mosquera S.A. es una empresa familiar, que se encarga de la producción y distribución de diferentes empaques de cartón. La compañía pertenece al sector de artes gráficas colombiano, que se desagrega en las siguientes categorías: empaques y etiquetas; publicidad y comercial; editoriales, periódicos y revistas. Cartonería Mosquera S.A. se encuentra en la categoría de empaques y etiquetas. A 2016 la empresa cuenta con un área que administra tanto el mercadeo como la parte comercial conjuntamente y que tiene como objetivo final la gestión de la publicidad, la satisfacción del cliente y la fidelización del mismo. Aunque desde sus inicios, la compañía ha venido trabajando con esta estructura y ha cumplido hasta ahora con algunos de los resultados esperados, los nuevos retos del mercado tales como; el compromiso con el medio ambiente, la necesidad de realizar registros que avalen la calidad de la compañía, la entrada de competidores internos como externos al mercado y el desarrollo de nuevos insumos, ha creado la necesidad de buscar nuevas herramientas que mejoren el desempeño del área comercial y promover así el incremento de las ventas. Este Trabajo surgió inicialmente con la idea de realizar un plan de mercadeo a fin de incentivar y proponer una estrategia que generara un impacto positivo en las ventas de la empresa. Sin embargo, en el proceso de desarrollo, se vio la necesidad de realizar primero un plan de mejoramiento con una orientación a la parte comercial de la compañía. The company is part of the Colombian graphic arts industry, which is divided into the following categories: packaging and labels, advertising and trading, publishers and newspapers and magazines. Cartonería Mosquera S. A. is in the category of packaging and labels. At the moment when this document was written (2016) the company has an area that manages both the marketing and commercial joint part and whose final objective is the advertising management, customer satisfaction and retention thereof. Since its beginning, the company has been working with this structure and it has gotten so far with some of the expected results, but the new market challenges such as; commitment to the environment, the certifications and re-certifications substantiating the quality of the company, the entry of domestic and foreign competitors to the market and the development of new inputs, has created the need for new tools to improve the performance for the commercial area (focused mainly to their human talent) and thus promote increased sales. This work initially came up with the idea of a marketing plan to encourage and propose a strategy that would generate a positive impact on sales for the company. However, in the development process, it arose the need for an improvement plan with a focus on the sales and commercial area of the company.     Exosomes promote restoration after an experimental animal model of intracerebral hemorrhage

    Exosomes are gaining importance because they show great promise in therapeutic applications for several diseases. Particularly in stroke, exosomes derived from mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy work as paracrine effectors responsible for promoting neurovascular remodeling and functional recovery. Adult male rats were subjected to intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) by intrastriatal injection of collagenase type IV; 24 h after surgery, MSC-derived exosomes were administered through the tail vein. The rats were euthanized at 7 or 28 days after treatment. Functional evaluation, lesion size, fiber tract integrity, axonal sprouting and white matter repair markers, biodistribution of exosomes and secretome proteomics were analyzed. DiI-labeled exosomes were found in the brains of the ICH-treated group and in the liver, lung and spleen. Animals receiving treatment with exosomes showed significantly better results in terms of functional recovery, lesion size, fiber tract integrity, axonal sprouting and white matter repair markers compared with the control group 28 days after stroke. Proteomics analysis of the exosomes identified more than 2000 proteins that could be implicated in brain repair function. In conclusion, white matter integrity was partly restored by exosome administration mediated by molecular repair factors.     Sialometaplasia necrotizante. A propósito de un caso

    [EN] Introduction: Necrotizing sialometaplasia (NSM) is a benign lesion affecting the salivary glands mainly in the hard palate. It presents as an ulcer with irregular borders, slightly elevated and necrotic The differential diagnosis should include malignant neoplasms. Case Report: A 26-year-old woman sought medical advice for a painful 2 cm ulceration of the hard palate. She is carrying pierced tongue. The patient had a history of cigarette smoking, chronic anxiety disorder and bulimia,. Analytical normal (including HIV and syphilis serology). Histopathology: accessory gland with squamous metaplasia, pseudoepitheliomatous hyperplasia and conservation lobular architecture. She had an important improvement with total resolution of the lesion in 4 months Discussion: The NSM is a necrotizing inflammatory process. It presents as an ulcer located in the posterior hard palate or the junction between the hard and soft palate. This situation has been associated with local ischemia as surgical trauma, thromboangiitis obliterans, dentures, alcohol, snuff, cocaine, and certain malignancies such as lymphomas, rhabdomyosarcoma or Warthin tumor. Currently associated with bulimia, it being necessary suspected in young women. It is important to rule out neoplasms and infectious processes (tuberculosis or syphilis). Also consider subacute necrotizing sialadenitis, nonspecific acute inflammatory process of unknown cause, with focal necrosis without hyperplasia or ductal metaplasia pseudoepitheliomatous. Treatment is symptomatic and usually resolves in 2-3 months. Conclusion: The NSM is a benign lesion which may mimic neoplasia. The trend is toward resolution. It must be recognized to avoid unnecessary surgery.[ES] INTRODUCIÓN: La sialometaplasia necrotizante (SMN), es una lesión benigna que afecta a las glándulas salivares fundamentalmente en el paladar duro. Se presenta como una úlcera de bordes irregulares, ligeramente elevados y lecho necrótico El diagnóstico diferencial debe incluir neoplasias malignas. CASO CLÍNICO: Mujer de 26 años de edad portadora de piercing en la lengua, fumadora con antecedentes de bulimia nerviosa. Presenta úlcera de 2 cm en región posterior del paladar duro de 2 meses de evolución. Estudio analítico normal (incluida serología VIH y sífilis). Estudio histopatológico: glándula accesoria con metaplasia escamosa ductal, hiperplasia seudoepiteliomatosa y conservación de la arquitectura lobular. Se resolvió espontáneamente en 4 meses. DISCUSIÓN: La SMN es un proceso inflamatorio necrotizante. Se presenta generalmente como una úlcera localizada en la porción posterior del paladar duro o la unión entre el paladar blando y duro. Se ha asociado a situaciones de isquemia local como traumatismos quirúrgicos, tromboangeitis obliterante, prótesis dentales, alcohol, tabaco, consumo de cocaína, y ciertas neoplasias como linfomas, rabdomiosarcomas o tumor de Warthin. Actualmente se relaciona con la bulimia, debiéndose sospechar en mujeres jóvenes. Es importante descartar neoplasias y procesos infecciosos (tuberculosis o sífilis). También se debe considerar la sialoadenitis necrótica subaguda, proceso inflamatorio agudo inespecífico de causa desconocida, con necrosis focal, sin metaplasia ductal ni hiperplasia seudoepiteliomatosa. El tratamiento es sintomático y generalmente se resuelve en 2- 3 meses. CONCLUSION: La SMN es una lesión benigna que puede simular una neoplasia. La evolución es hacia la resolución. Debe reconocerse para evitar cirugías innecesarias
