Pengaruh Kualitas Layanan Terhadap Tingkat Kepuasan Masyarakat Pada Kantor Imigrasi Bengkalis

This research aims to determine the immigration office services providing services to the community and how much influence the quality of immigration office services on the level of community satisfaction. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method. The population in this research amounted to 21613 people. While sampling uses the Slovin formula with convenience sampling technique so that a sample of 100 people is obtained. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires and literature studies. The results of this research are that the service at the Bengkalis Immigration Office has been well fulfilled based on the determination of the central government. Then the service quality of Bengkalis Immigration Office has a significant effect on the level of community satisfaction with a percentage of influence of 68.6% and the remaining 31.4% is influenced by other variables

Passion of men through natural object in Edgar Allan Poe's selected poems

The main purpose in this study is to find out the passion of man through natural objects in Edgar Allan Poe selected poems. This study divided into two research focuses, 1) How are the representations of natural object in Edgar Allan Poe selected poems? 2) How can the passions of man be incorporated with the beautiful and permanent form of nature based on humble and rustic life in Edgar Allan Poe’s selected poems? The Romantic Movement emerged in the middle 18th century until the early 19th century. This Romantic Movement emerged as a form of protest against the situation caused by the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution. During this time there were many Romantic Poets who had their own views and theories on Romantic, especially in poetry. This research use Romantic theory according to William Wordsworth with the object of poetry by Edgar Allan Poe. As a literary criticism studies, this study used the expressive approach which is more approaching to the author of the literary work itself. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. This study analyzed ten poems selected from a collection of poems by Edgar Allan Poe. Using the Wordsworth William theory, the expressive approach, and the descriptive qualitative method as a result of the analysis of Edgar Allan Poe's poem show that the ten analyzed poems showed varied natural objects such as, sea, river, valley, forest, mountain, lake, sky, cloud, sun, moon and star. In each poem also raises the number of natural objects that are different and varied. Edgar Allan Poe poured out his feelings through these natural objects. From the ten poems in this study, there are two poems that do not belong to how a man's joy or passion through natural objects is based on the simplicity and life of a rural person, as is William Wordsworth's romantic theory. So there are 8 poems belonging to the category as the second focus of research

Islam dan Nasionalisme perspektif Abdolkarim Soroush dan relevansinya dalam kehidupan politik di Indonesia. Abdolkarim Soroush mengatakan bahwa sikap religius (mengalihkan penghakiman ke pengetahuan agama bersama) dapat mempertahankan hubungan epistemologis yang sama dengan nasionalisme, sehingga dengan mempunyai sifat religious dapat mengembangkan sikap nasionalisme, bahkan system politik yang ada pada suatu Negara akan menjadi lebih baik. Seperti halnya sikap ilmiah (menurunkan penghakiman terhadap kebijaksanaan bersama praktisi). Dengan demikian perpaduan agama dan nasionalisme adalah suatu contoh keserasian antara agama dan nalar nasionalis sehingga akan mendapatkan system pemerintahan yang tidak akan buruk. Perpaduan agama dan berdemokrasi adalah kecerdasan metareligious yang memiliki setidaknya beberapa dimensi epistemologis extrareligious. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui relevansi Islam terhadap nasionalisme, perspektif Abdolkarim Soroush, serta untuk mengetahui nasionalisme di Indonesia Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Metode kualitatif merupakan metode penelitian yang dipergunakan untuk meneliti pada sebuah objek maupun subjek, yang dimana peneliti menjadi instrumen kunci atau kunci Utama. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu library research (penelitian pustaka) yakni tahapan dalam melakukan identifikasi dengan sistematis pada berbagai analisis dan penemuan. berbagai dokumen dan berkenaan dengan permasalahan penelitian. Penghimpunan data informasi didapatkan dari berbagai bahan yang terdapat di jurnal, perpustakaan, baik berbentuk dokumen, arsip, majalah dan sebagainya. PEMBANGUNAN APLIKASI PENGELOLAAN DATA ATLET DAN JADWAL LATIHAN BERBASIS WEB MENGGUNAKAN FRAMEWORK CODEIGNITER DI DINAS PEMUDA DAN OLAHRAGA KOTA BANDUNG

Pengelolaan data atlet dan jadwal latihan di dinas pemuda dan olahraga kota bandung masih menggunakan Microsoft excel yang fungsinya belum terkhusus untuk mengelola data atlet dan jadwal latihan. sehingga timbul beberapa permasalahan, seperti file excel kadang terhapus atau lupa tempat penyimpanannya sehingga menyulitkan dalam pencarian data atlet dan jadwal latihan dikarenakan data yang disimpan sangat banyak dan harus membuka file excel satu persatu berdasarkan index tahun atau bulan yang ada. Maka dari itu muncul gagasan untuk membuat aplikasi pengelolaan data atlet dan jadwal latihan berbasis web. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah Waterfall. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan untuk membuat aplikasi pengelolaan data atlet dan jadwal latihan berbasis web adalah PHP dengan menggunakan framework Codeigniter. Database menggunakan DBMS MySQL. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah dengan dihasilkannya aplikasi pengelolaan data atlet dan jadwal latihan berbasis web di dinas pemuda dan olahraga kota bandung yang dapat membantu bidang pembudayaan olahraga dalam mengelola data atlet dan jadwal latihan. تأثير استخدام طريقة جكسو لإتققنن الدفردات في الددرسة الثننوية الذدى تانجونج جنبونج شرقية

Skripsi ini membahas tentang pengaruh penggunaan metode jigsaw untuk penguasaan kosakata Bahasa arab siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al – Huda Tanjung Jabung Timur. Penelitian inin bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan menghafal siswa dengan metode jigsaw di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al – Huda Tanjung Jabung Timur, dan untuk mengetahui berapa besar pengaruh metode jigsaw terhadap kemampuan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa arab di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al – Huda Tanjung Jabung Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only control design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan Teknik sampling total, dimana seluruh anggota populasi dijadikan sampel semua. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah ١٩ siswa, dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelass control yang berjumlah ١٩ siswa. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai tertinggi kelas eksperimen ١٠٠ dan nilai terendah ٦٠ dengan rata-rata ٧٨,٩٥. Sedangkan nilai tertinggi kelas control ٩٠ dan nilai terendah ٤٠ dengan rata-ratanya ٦٣,١٦. Pada uji “T” pada tabel uji independent sampel T test menunjukksn bahwa nilai T ٠,٠٠١ < ٠,٠٥. berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas control. Maka dengan begitu Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan effect size perlakuan yang diberikan adalah ١,٨١, maka berdasarkan tabel cohen’s persentasenya adalah ٩٦,٤%. hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi pengaruh besar dari metode jigsaw untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam penguasaan mufrodat pada kelas VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Huda Tanjung Jabung Timur

Examine generalized lambda distribution fitting performance: An application to extreme share return in Malaysia

Understand the extreme volatility in the market is important for the investor to make a correct prediction. This paper evaluated the performance of generalized lambda distribution (GLD) by comparing with the popular probability distribution namely generalized extreme value (GEV), Generalized logistic (GLO), generalized Pareto (GPA), and Pearson (PE3) using Kuala Lumpur composite index stock return data. The parameter for each distribution estimated using the L-moment method. Based on k-sample Anderson darling goodness of fit test, GLD performs well in weekly maximum and minimum period. Bawaslu sebagai lembaga pengawas memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan edukasi untuk mencegah pelanggaran pemilu. Maka dalam penelitian ini peneliti ingin mengetahui peran dan strategi Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu) Provinsi Sumatera Utara untuk mencegah pelanggaran pemilu 2019 melalui media sosial. Anomaly Detection for Security in Children's Play Areas Based on Image Using Multiple Lines Detection Method

This study aims to build a device as a security system to detect anomalies of children moving in play areas based on the Multiple Line Detection (MLD) method in a streaming image. We developed this device to help parents monitor their children's activities when playing in dangerous areas of the home to protect children from kidnapping. In this study, the MLD method can detect the children's activities when playing in three zones: the safe zone with green lines in the image, the caution zone with yellow lines, and the danger zone with red lines. The hardware used to build the devices in this study consists of three components: a camera to stream the image activities of children, a Raspberry Pi to process the image using OpenCV, and a buzzer for early security systems. The results of this study show that when the device detected the children playing in the safe zone, the system commanded the buzzer to turn off. Furthermore, when the camera detects that the children are playing in the caution and danger zone, the device then commands the buzzer to turn on as an early warning security system for the parents

Changes in the mouth morpho-histology of hybrid Malaysian mahseer (Barbonymus gonionotus♀× Tor tambroides♂) during the larval development

Tor tambroides is a highly sought after food, sport and ornamental fish in Southeast Asia. However its natural population is drastically declining while its aquaculture is still considered small relying mostly of the wild fry as its hatchery bred fry supply is low due to its partial spawning behavior. To reduce the pressure on its fisheries, a new hybrid of Malaysian mahseer was produced by crossbreeding Malaysian red mahseer Tor tambroides male and silver barb Barbonymous gonionotus female through induced breeding for possible introduction into the aquaculture industry. This 23-day study was carried out to observe the morphology, functional capabilities and histological of the mouth development of hybrid Malaysian mahseer larvae. Newly hatched larvae were reared in three 75 L aquaria with the stocking density of 10 larvae per liter. Larval mouth development was observed daily using light and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Histological analysis of the mouth was also carried out. The results showed that the larval mouth was closed at hatching and started to open and move at 3 DAH with an estimated opening of 111.01 ± 5.91 μm Ø and 173.11 ± 10.98 μm Ø at 45° and 90°, respectively. The taste buds started to function as early as 3 DAH and increased its number as fish grew. The exogenous feeding began in conjunction of the mouth opening. The mouth became terminal as early as 6 DAH with the presence of numerous taste buds at the mouth cavity. The mouth gap and total length showed strong polynomial relationship throughout the 23-day larviculture. From the mouth gap size, live foods such as rotifer and microworms seemed to be suitable for the first feeding of the hybrid fish larvae while Artemia nauplii could be given starting from 5 DAH

Hydroclimatic data prediction using a new ensemble group method of data handling coupled with artificial bee colony algorithm

Linear regression is widely used in flood quantile study that consists of meteorological and physiographical variables. However, linear regression does not capture the complex nonlinear relationship between predictor and target variables. It is rare to find a hydrological application using the group method of data handling (GMDH) model, artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm, and ensemble technique, precisely predicting ungauged sites. GMDH model is known to be an effective model in complying with a nonlinear relationship. Therefore, in this paper, we enhance the GMDH model by implementing the ABC algorithm to optimize the parameter of partial description GMDH model with some transfer functions, namely polynomial, radial basis, sigmoid and hyperbolic tangent function. Then, ensemble averaging combines the output from those various transfer functions and becomes the new ensemble GMDH model coupled with the ABC algorithm (EGMDH-ABC) model. The results show that this method significantly improves the prediction performance of the GMDH model. The EGMDH-ABC model satisfies the nonlinearity in data to produce a better estimation. Also, it provides more robust, accurate, and efficient results
