Arabic Teaching and Learning in Matriculation Program for Al-Azhar Student’s Candidate
This study aims to analyze Arabic learning material conducted by Pusiba and El-Darosah, which are official institutions for language studies for preparing prospective students who want to study in the Middle East, especially Egypt. This institution prepared language skills, aspects of mentality, and Islamic and national insight based on Al-Azhar's vision. This research was qualitative, using content analysis and sociolinguistic approaches, in which the study of a language was not only limited to the involvement of intrinsic as structure’s perceptions, but also extrinsic aspects, such as social, cultural, economic, political and others were done by post-structuralism. This research showed that the Pusiba and El-Darosah institutions as their official representatives have succeeded in explaining the identity of Al-Azhar, that is wasatiyah (moderate) Islamic views contained learning texts which were the main axis in learning Arabic such as al-Islam wa Huriyah al-‘Aqidah, al-‘Adl fi al-Islâm, al-‘Adl fi Mu’âmalah Ahl al-Diyânât al-Ukhrâ, Samâhah al-Islam ma’a Ahl al-Diyânât al-Ukhrâ, Mafhûm al-Huriyah fi al-Islam, al-Hiwâr ma’a al-Âkhar, and Al-Azhar wa Wasathiyah al-Islam, which were presented in several steps of Arabic learning books developed by Al-Azhar university
The Spice Route and The Sub-Urban Muslim Community in South East Asia
The spice route is the route that the spice trade passes from its home country, the Maluku Islands in particular, and the Archipelago Islands in general to other countries in the world. The spice route is thought to have existed for several centuries BC. The spice route stretches from the Maluku Islands/Nusantara to Malaya, India, Persia, Arabia, Egypt, to Europe. The Arabs took part in the spice trade from the Archipelago and the Persians, Indians, Malays, and the Chinese. When the Arabs embraced Islam and followed by the Persians and Indians, they passed and controlled the trade in the spice route. Since the first century to the twelfth century AD, Indian civilization with Hinduism and Buddhism dominated society and politics in Southeast Asia. Even the still Hindu solid kingdom in Java lasted until the end of the fifteenth century. During such a period, the Muslims became members of the marginalized communities on the spice route under the shadow of Hinduistic hegemony. However, they can play a role in the Islamization of the Southeast Asian Region through the spice route. Gradually the Muslims can shift the Hindu/Buddhist civilization and establish political power and build Islamic civilization. Islamic civilization includes, among others, the development of Islamic religious knowledge, shaping Islamic traditions in society, advancing education, and establishing political power. The writer used the 4-step historical method in this study, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. He also applied acculturation theory to discuss this theme. Given the limited time, secondary sources were used to write this research
The Communication Language Style of The Government of Kuwait During The Covid-19 Pandemic | Gaya Bahasa Komunikasi Pemerintah Kuwait di Masa Pandemi Covid-19
The purpose of this study is to describe that the Government of Kuwait, through its official social media, uses a lot of euphemistic and dysphemic language styles in conveying information in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis to understand the symbolic messages contained in documents, paintings, dances, songs, literary works, and others as unstructured data. The data collection technique used is the observation and note-taking technique. Listening in the context of this study means reading, which is then recorded to document the data obtained. The data analysis technique used is the equivalent referential technique to find out grammatical units such as euphemisms and dysphemisms, while to analyze the background of the use of euphemisms and dysphemisms, pragmatic equivalent analysis is used. Based on the results of an analysis of data obtained from the official social media of the Ministry of Health of Kuwait, many euphemistic and dysphemistic forms were found in conveying information regarding the latest matters and developments regarding Covid-19 in the country of Kuwait. It is used for specific purposes. The purpose of using euphemistic forms is to avoid mentioning negative reality, which aims to minimize the harmful effects of utterances that seem scary, worrying, make noise, offend, hurt, disrespect, or violate social norms. Euphemistic forms also aim to evoke an optimistic attitude toward residents in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. The use of the dysphemistic form used by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health in presenting information about matters related to Covid-19 in that country is aimed at scaring, showing annoyance, and giving warnings so that they are even more vigilant in dealing with the Covid 19 pandemic

PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT SENDANGTIRTO DALAM PEMBUATAN PUPUK ORGANIK MELALUI KEGIATAN KKN PPM
Abstract. Livestock is one of the sizable sources of livelihood in Indonesia which reaches 13.45% of the National Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Sendangtirto is one of the villages in the Sleman district of Yogyakarta with the majority of people having businesses in agriculture and animal husbandry, especially cattle and fisheries. In the village of Sendangtirto there are 13 groups of farmers. The problem faced by the Sendangtirto community is the processing of livestock waste that is not yet optimal for making organic fertilizer. The method used in this PPM KKN activities is counseling about organic fertilizer, the practice of making organic fertilizer from livestock manure, and followed by training in making organic fertilizer product packaging. The purpose of this activity is to provide understanding and skills to the community in managing livestock manure into organic fertilizer. The result of this activity is an increase in understanding and skills of the community in managing livestock manure into organic fertilizer. Increased public understanding of organic fertilizer to 95.65%, increased community skills in making organic fertilizer to 91.30%, and increased community ability to make organic fertilizer product packaging to 86.95%.

Abstrak. Peternakan merupakan salah satu sumber mata pencaharian yang cukup besar di Indonesia yang mencapai 13,45% dari Pendapatan Domestik Bruto (PDB) Nasional. Sendangtirto merupakan salah satu desa di kabupaten Sleman Yogyakarta dengan mayoritas masyarakat memiliki usaha di bidang pertanian dan peternakan, khususnya peternakan sapi dan perikanan. Di desa Sendangtirto ini terdapat kelompok peternak yang berjumlah 13 kelompok. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat sendangtirto adalah pengolahan limbah ternak yang belum optimal untuk membuat pupuk organik. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kagiatan KKN PPM ini adalah penyuluhan tentang pupuk organik, praktek pembuatan pupuk organik dari kotoran ternak, dan dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan pembuatan kemasan produk pupuk organik. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat dalam mengelola kotoran ternak menjadi pupuk organik. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengelola kotoran ternak menjadi pupuk organik. Peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pupuk organik menjadi 95,65%, peningkatan keterampilan masyarakat dalam membuat pupuk organik menjadi 91,30 %, dan peningkatan kemampuan masyarakat dalam membuat kemasan produk pupuk organik menjadi 86,95%
Pembuatan Bioaditif Triacetin Dengan Katalis Padat Silica Alumina
Triasetin is a bioaditif to increase the octane number of the gasoline. Triasetin was generated from the reaction between giserol and acetic acid. Glycerol is a byproduct of biodiesel production. Triasetin production can reduce glycerol which is actually a waste by converting it into bioaditif having higher value. The reaction can be accelerated by addition of catalysts either solid or liquid catalyst. The reaction in this study used a solid catalyst types Silica Alumina. The reaction takes place in the three-neck flask reactor which is equipped with heating unit, mixers, and tools to take samples at regular intervals. Variables used in this research is the variety of reaction time and the reaction temperature (70, 80, 90, 100, and 1100C). The concentration of triasetin obtained will be known through the analysis of Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS). The results of the analysis of GC or GC-MS treated or counted so getting glycerol conversion and selectivity of triasetin. The highest glycerol conversion 8,45% occurs at a temperature of 700C the reaction time of 90 minutes with triasetin selectivity 100%
Analysis on Al-Ri’Ayah (Leadership) in Family and Its Influence to the Iintention and Performance as Well as Family Welfare in Urban Areas of East Kalimantan Province
This study analyses the influence of al-ri’ayah (leadership) in a family to the intention of the family head, performance and family welfare, and to analyse the level of perfection (kaffah) of leadership (al-ri’ayah) in family, intention of the family head, performance and family welfare in Urban Areas of East Kalimantan Province. The said Urban Areas constitute the four cities in East Kalimantan Province, namely Samarinda, Balikpapan, Tarakan and Bontang. This study applies the syar’i quantitative approach, strengthened by the syar’i qualitative and kasyf intuitive analyses.Al-ri’ayah in family is a leadership attitude applied by a family head constituting one of the important factors influencing the intention of family head, performance and family welfare. The al-ri’ayah aspects in family give the influence in forming and directing the intention of family head, performance and family welfare. The al-ri’ayah in family, intention of family head, performance and family welfare have been implemented well at the stage of sunnah category or close to being perfect (kaffah).
