    Get PDF
José Jiménez Lozano is a unique writer in the Hispanic literary scene of these last decades. His work is vast and diverse, and this initial observation does not escape his narrative, which genre the write demonstrates more prolifically. Despite the apparent diversity, there is outstanding unity underlying Jiménez Lozano´s entire work. This unity lies not only on the constant return to the same matters, but also on the approaches or the reasons, from which his literary work begins. The writer reflects over his work and lets his ideas expand through the diverse manifestations of his ideas on prose. It is a talk about the rhetorical writing of this article, valuing the coherent existence between reflection and literary practice.

    Get PDF

The New World Clistopyga chaconi species group is revised. Eleven species are described as new: C. amazonica sp. nov., C. cinnamoptera sp. nov., C. cuscoensis sp. nov., C. hayesiana sp. nov., C. melanoptera sp. nov., C. misionensis sp. nov., C. mocaguae sp. nov., C. orellanae sp. nov., C. porteri sp. nov., C. rondoniae sp. nov. and C. yabuquensis sp. nov. Additional morphological data are provided for the previously known species, C. caramba Castillo & Sääksjärvi and C. chaconi Gauld. An illustrated identification key to all species of the group is provided. The Clistopyga chaconi species group appears to be most diverse at the Andean and Amazonian interface in western South America. This study was partially supported by the projects “El valor de las Reservas Privadas en la conservación de la diversidad de insectos parasitoides” (Instituto Tecnológico Nacional de México, Code: 5554.15-P) and “Biodiversity and multitrophic interactions” (Kone Foundation, Finland)

Motion planning using fast marching squared method

    Get PDF
Robotic motion planning have been, and still is, a very intense research field. Many problems have been already solved and even real-time, optimal motion planning algorithms have been proposed and successfully tested in real-world scenarios. However, other problems are not satisfactory solved yet and also new motion planning subproblems are appearing. In this chapter we detail our proposed solution for two of these problems with the same underlying method: non-holonomic planning and outdoor motion planning. The first is characterized by the fact that many vehicles cannot move in any direction at any time (car-like robots). Therefore, kinematic constrains need to be taken into account when planning a new path. Outoor motion planning focuses on the problem that has to be faced when a robot is going to work in scenarios with non-flat ground, with different floor types (grass, sand, etc.). In this case the path computed should take into account the capabilities of the robot to properly model the environment. In order to solve these problems we are using the Fast Marching Square method, which has proved to be robust and efficient in the recent past when applied to other robot motion planning subproblems.Publicad

Generalization Process by Second Grade Students

    Get PDF
This study is part of a broader study on algebraic reasoning in elementary education. The research objective of the present survey, namely to describe generalization among second grade (7- to 8-year-old) students, was pursued through semi-structured interviews with six children in connection with a contextualized generalization task involving the function y = x + 3. Particular attention was paid to the structures recognized and the type of generalization expressed by these students as they reasoned. In all six, we observed three phases of inductive reasoning: (a) abductive, (b) inductive and (c) generalization. The students correctly recognized the structure at least once during the interview and expressed generalization in three ways.Spanish National Research Agency (AEI)European Fund for Regional Development (FEDER)Government of Spain - BES-2017-08012
