Hyvää duunia : katsaus työhyvinvoinnin ja asiantuntijuuden merkityksestä tietotyössä

1900-luvun loppupuolen kehitys maailmantaloudessa ja teknologiassa on vaikuttanut suuresti nykypäivän tapoihimme tehdä työtä. Työnteon vaatimukset ja ylipäätään se, miten miellämme työnteon on muutoksessa. Opinnäytetyö havainnoi globalisaation ja tietotekniikan kehityksen aiheuttamia muutoksia ja niiden vaikutuksia työntekoon ja työnteon vaatimuksiin. Nykypäivänä tiedon parissa tehtävän, yhä enemmän käsistä korvien väliin siirtyvän tietotyön rooli kaikesta työnteosta on kasvanut 1990-luvulta lähtien ja tulee todennäköisesti yhä kasvamaan. Samalla myös työelämässä koettu kiire ja menestymispaineet kasvavat niin organisaatioissa kuin yksilötasolla. Niinpä menestyksekäs luova työ vaatii onnistuakseen yhä laajempaa ymmärrystä menneillään olevasta ilmiöstä. Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena on tarjota lukijalleen tietoa työn rakennemuutoksesta sekä työhyvinvoinnin ja asiantuntijuuden merkityksestä onnistuneessa tietotyössä. Näiden lisäksi opinnäytetyön viimeinen osa sisältää pohdinnat käsitellyistä asiakokonaisuuksista ennen kaikkea mainonnan suunnittelun opiskelijan näkökulmasta. Esiteltyjen asiakokonaisuuksien ja pohdintojen kautta syntyi opinnäytetyön, joka tarjoaa lukijalleen mahdollisuuden lähteä käymään sisäistä vuoropuhelua niistä eri keinoista, joilla toteuttaa menestyksekästä ja palkitsevaa tietotyötä sekä pyrkimyksistä parempaan henkiseen työhyvinvointiin ja asiantuntijuuteen.The development in world economy and technology in the later 20th century has affected greatly on our ways of working. The requirements of work and the way we see it are changing. Thesis observes the changes caused by globalisation and information technology, and how they influence working and its requirements. At present, the role of knowledge work has grown since the 1990s and probably keeps on growing. At the same time, the pace and pressure of the worklife are increasing for organisations as well as for individuals. And so, the high-flying creative work demands a wider knowledge of this phenomenon in order to succeed. The aim of the thesis is to provide the reader with understanding of the structural changes in worklife, and also point out the meaning of occupational well-being and expertise in successful knowledge work. In addition, the last part of the thesis brings out some thoughts about the issues from an advertising design student’s point of view. Based on the issues covered and my own thoughts, I have strived to write a thesis that will provide the reader with an opportunity to start an inner dialogue about the tools that enable a successful and rewarding knowledge work, better psychological well-being at workplace and superior expertise

Jäsenyyden ja osallistumisen merkitykset Suomen ortodoksisen kirkon 20–45-vuotiaitten passiivisten jäsenten keskuudessa

Membership and Participation among 20–45-year-old Inactive Members of the Orthodox Church of Finland — This article studies church membership and attitudes about and experiences of parish activities among 20–45-year-old inactive members of the Orthodox Church of Finland. The data (n = 74) are gathered through a survey conducted by internet and mail in 2018–2019. Analysis of the data indicates that, for ecclesiastically inactive members of the Finnish Orthodox Church between 20 and 45 years of age, the experience of intergenerational relationships through sacraments and services and the involvement of the church at important turning points of life (viz., birth, death, and marriage) are the main reason for maintaining church membership. Appreciation for church tradition and liturgy is also notably high among survey respondents. The main reasons for inactivity include obstacles created by family life, work, and hobbies, as well as feelings of loneliness and alienation experienced during ecclesiastical activities
