Perancangan Sistem Informasi Administrasi Surat Berbasis Desktop pada Kantor Notaris Hoiril Masuli, Sh, M.Kn
Pada Kantor Notaris Hoiril Masuli, Sh, M.Kn dalam pengelolaan penerimaan berkas masih menggunakan cara manual dan belum terkomputerisasi. Hal ini meyulitkan pegawai dalam pengelolaan data klien, seperti halnya dalam penyimpanan data-data yang masih disimpan dalam bentuk berkas sehingga menyulitkan pegawai dalam mencari data berkas masuk dari klien ataupun berkas yang sudah selesai dibuat serta berkas yang sudah diambil klien. Untuk mengatasi masalah-masalah yang dihadapi, untuk mempercepat pekerjaan dan memudahkan pengelolahaan data perlu adanya sistem yang terkomputerisasi dalam pengelolaan berkas klien. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah berorientasi objek, model penelitian yang digunakan adalah Waterfall serta tools yang digunakan adalah UML (Unified Model Language)
Enumeration of simple random walks and tridiagonal matrices
We present some old and new results in the enumeration of random walks in one
dimension, mostly developed in works of enumerative combinatorics. The relation
between the trace of the -th power of a tridiagonal matrix and the
enumeration of weighted paths of steps allows an easier combinatorial
enumeration of the paths. It also seems promising for the theory of tridiagonal

Critical and off-critical studies of the Baxter-Wu model with general toroidal boundary conditions
The operator content of the Baxter-Wu model with general toroidal boundary
conditions is calculated analytically and numerically. These calculations were
done by relating the partition function of the model with the generating
function of a site-colouring problem in a hexagonal lattice. Extending the
original Bethe-ansatz solution of the related colouring problem we are able to
calculate the eigenspectra of both models by solving the associated
Bethe-ansatz equations. We have also calculated, by exploring the conformal
invariance at the critical point, the mass ratios of the underlying massive

A Fast Quasi-Conformal Mapping Preconditioner for Electromagnetic Integral Equations
Boundary Element Methods (BEMs) are efficient strategies to numerically solve electromagnetic radiation and scattering problems. Unfortunately, however, classical BEM formulations suffer from ill-conditioning when the frequency is low, or the discretization density is high. In the past, several remedies have been presented for these ill-conditioning problems including preconditioners based on Calderón identities, hierarchical bases, and current decompositions. While effective, these strategies however require ad-hoc procedures including mesh-refinements, new basis function definitions, and adapted fast methods that, if not implemented properly, can become computationally cumbersome
Teaching Intercultural Competence in Translator Training
In this position paper we define an interculturally competent translator as one that demonstrates a high level of intercultural knowledge, skills, attitude and flexibility throughout his or her professional engagements. We argue that to attain this goal in translator training intercultural competence needs to be introduced into the curriculum explicitly and in a conceptually clear manner. In this article we provide an overview of earlier attempts at discussing the role of intercultural communication in translator training curricula and we discuss the various pedagogical and practical challenges involved. We also look at some future challenges, identifying increasing societal diversity as both a source of added urgency into intercultural training and a challenge for traditional biculturally based notions of translators’ intercultural competence and we argue for the central role of empathy. Finally, and importantly, we introduce the contributions to the special issue
Repeated evolution of self-compatibility for reproductive assurance
Sexual reproduction in eukaryotes requires the fusion of two compatible gametes of opposite sexes or mating types. To meet the challenge of finding a mating partner with compatible gametes evolutionary mechanisms such as hermaphroditism and self-fertilisation have repeatedly evolved. Combining insight from comparative genomics, computer simulations and experimental evolution in fission yeast, we shed light on the conditions promoting separate mating types or self-compatibility by mating-type switching. Analogous to multiple independent transitions between switchers and non-switchers in natural populations mediated by structural genomic changes, novel switching genotypes were readily evolving under selection in experimental populations. Detailed fitness measurements accompanied by computer simulations show the benefits and costs of switching during sexual and asexual reproduction governing the occurrence of both strategies in nature. Our findings illuminate the trade-off between the benefits of reproductive assurance and its fitness costs under benign conditions governing the evolution of self-compatibility
Cause of Death and Predictors of All-Cause Mortality in Anticoagulated Patients With Nonvalvular Atrial Fibrillation : Data From ROCKET AF

Identification of causes of death and contemporary risk factors for all-cause mortality may guide interventions. Methods and Results-In the Rivaroxaban Once Daily Oral Direct Factor Xa Inhibition Compared with Vitamin K Antagonism for Prevention of Stroke and Embolism Trial in Atrial Fibrillation (ROCKET AF) study, patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation were randomized to rivaroxaban or dose-adjusted warfarin. Cox proportional hazards regression with backward elimination identified factors at randomization that were independently associated with all-cause mortality in the 14 171 participants in the intention-to-treat population. The median age was 73 years, and the mean CHADS(2) score was 3.5. Over 1.9 years of median follow-up, 1214 (8.6%) patients died. Kaplan-Meier mortality rates were 4.2% at 1 year and 8.9% at 2 years. The majority of classified deaths (1081) were cardiovascular (72%), whereas only 6% were nonhemorrhagic stroke or systemic embolism. No significant difference in all-cause mortality was observed between the rivaroxaban and warfarin arms (P=0.15). High-pressure behavior and P-induced phase transition of CaB3O4(OH)3·H2O (colemanite)
Colemanite (ideally CaB3O4(OH)3\ub7H2O, space group P21/a, unit-cell parameters: a ~ 8.74, b ~ 11.26, c ~ 6.10 \uc5, \u3b2 ~ 110.1\ub0) is one of the principal mineralogical components of borate deposits and the most important mineral commodity of boron. Its high-pressure behavior is here described, for the first time, by means of in situ single-crystal synchrotron X-ray diffraction with a diamond anvil cell up to 24 GPa (and 293 K). Colemanite is stable, in its ambient-conditions polymorph, up to 13.95 GPa. Between 13.95 and 14.91 GPa, an iso-symmetric first-order single-crystal to single-crystal phase transition (reconstructive in character) toward a denser polymorph (colemanite-II) occurs, with: aCOL-II=3\ub7aCOL, bCOL-II=bCOL, and cCOL-II=2\ub7cCOL. Up to 13.95 GPa, the bulk compression of colemanite is accommodated by the Ca-polyhedron compression and the tilting of the rigid three-membered rings of boron polyhedra. The phase transition leads to an increase in the average coordination number of both the B and Ca sites. A detailed description of the crystal structure of the high-P polymorph, compared to the ambient-conditions colemanite, is given. The elastic behaviors of colemanite and of its high-P polymorph are described by means of III- and II-order Birch-Murnaghan equations of state, respectively, yielding the following refined parameters: KV0=67(4) GPa and KV\u2032=5.5(7) [\u3b2V0=0.0149(9) GPa-1] for colemanite; KV0=50(8) GPa [\u3b2V0=0.020(3) GPa-1] for its high-P polymorph
Clinical pregenetic screening for stroke monogenic diseases: Results from lombardia GENS registry
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE:
Lombardia GENS is a multicentre prospective study aimed at diagnosing 5 single-gene disorders associated with stroke (cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy, Fabry disease, MELAS [mitochondrial encephalomyopathy, lactic acidosis, and stroke-like episodes], hereditary cerebral amyloid angiopathy, and Marfan syndrome) by applying diagnostic algorithms specific for each clinically suspected disease
METHODS:
We enrolled a consecutive series of patients with ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke or transient ischemic attack admitted in stroke units in the Lombardia region participating in the project. Patients were defined as probable when presenting with stroke or transient ischemic attack of unknown etiopathogenic causes, or in the presence of <3 conventional vascular risk factors or young age at onset, or positive familial history or of specific clinical features. Patients fulfilling diagnostic algorithms specific for each monogenic disease (suspected) were referred for genetic analysis.
RESULTS:
In 209 patients (57.4\ub114.7 years), the application of the disease-specific algorithm identified 227 patients with possible monogenic disease. Genetic testing identified pathogenic mutations in 7% of these cases. Familial history of stroke was the only significant specific feature that distinguished mutated patients from nonmutated ones. The presence of cerebrovascular risk factors did not exclude a genetic disease.
CONCLUSIONS:
In patients prescreened using a clinical algorithm for monogenic disorders, we identified monogenic causes of events in 7% of patients in comparison to the 1% to 5% prevalence reported in previous series
Disseminated cytomegalovirus disease after bendamustine : a case report and analysis of circulating B- A nd T-cell subsets
Background: Bendamustine, used for the treatment of indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia, is known to cause prolonged myelosuppression and lymphocytopenia and has been associated with the risk of developing serious and fatal infections. While reports of localized CMV infections in asymptomatic patients exist, disseminated CMV disease has not been described. Case presentation: We report the first case of disseminated CMV infection in a 75-year-old male diagnosed with lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma/Waldenström macroglobulinemia with massive bone marrow infiltration. Despite 6-cycle R-bendamustine chemotherapy resulted in a good partial response, the patient developed persistent fever and severe weight loss. Analysis of cerebrospinal fluid and peripheral blood revealed the presence of CMV-DNA, while the fundus oculi examination revealed bilateral CMV retinitis. Treatment with induction and maintenance drugs was complicated by neutropenia and deterioration of renal function with electrolyte imbalance. From an immunological standpoint, we observed a profound imbalances in phenotype and function of B- A nd T-cell subsets, with a high proportion of circulating total, activated CD69+ and CD80+ B-cells, a low γ/δT-cell frequency with a high proportion of CD69- A nd CD38-expressing cells, and hyperactivated/exhausted CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell phenotypes unable to face CMV challenge. Conclusions: We hereby describe a severe form of disseminated CMV disease after R-bendamustine treatment. Our observations strongly support the careful clinical monitoring of CMV reactivation/infection in oncologic patients undergoing this therapeutic regimen
