Metodologia: A amostra utilizada
Objective: To analyze if the posture acquired in the different types of musical blow instruments,
influences the pain and the prevalence of musculoskeletal injuries, as well as the occurrence of
temporomandibular joint dysfunctions (TMD) in musicians. Methodology: The sample used in this
study consisted of 31 elements of the Leverense Musical Band and 30 elements of the Melres Musical
Band (n = 61). All the inquired people completed an individual questionnaire on personal aspects, the
“Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire” and the "Diagnostic Criteria for the Research of
Temporomandibular Disorders - RDC / TMD" questionnaire. Each individual were also recorded
playing with its instrument through the Kinovea software. Results: It was found that, in global,
musicians presented greater complains of pain in the follow regions: cervical, lumbar, shoulders and
wrist/hands. Relating to the posture only in some musicians there was significant difference.
Concerning to the presence of TMD symptoms, the chronic pain was highlighted by Oboe, Flute and
Trombone musicians, as well as the presence of clicks and noises/tinnitus, in relation to other reported
symptoms. Conclusion: We conclude that the population of musicians of blow instruments tend to
have musculoskeletal injuries and also the occurrence of signs/symptoms of TMD, related to posture.N/

Assessment of skills to facilitate the learning of reading and writing: a study in the 1st year of schooling in the context of the covid-19 pandemic
This paper presents the results of a quantitative study based on the assessment of competencies to facilitate the learning of reading and writing at the beginning of the 1st year of schooling. This study is part of the "Promoting Reading and Writing" project, which has been underway since 2018 in 11 school clusters of the Intermunicipal Community of Terras de Trás-os-Montes - Portugal. This project's main goals are to conduct screenings in the first four years of schooling to detect risks in the learning of reading and writing skills of the children involved, at an early stage of the school year and to train the respective teachers in the teaching of reading and writing to improve their classroom practices, in order to contribute to the success of all their students in these skills. In the screening carried out in the school year 2020/2021 (in the context of the Covid-19 Pandemic and after months of distance learning), 544 students from the eleven school clusters involved participated.
The data collection tool used for this screening was the Know, Act and Change (Conhecer, Atuar e Mudar (CAM)) tests - Version 3 (2020) which, for the 1st year of schooling:
(i) assesses knowledge of letters,
(ii) identification of the final syllable,
(iii) cultural knowledge of the printed word,
(iv) identification of the initial phoneme and, consequently,
(v) provides information on phonological awareness (identification of the final syllable plus identification of the initial phoneme).
After the analysis of results, using descriptive statistics, it was possible to verify (based on data presented throughout the text) that regarding letter knowledge, most students were at the highest level of performance, and the data collected is in line with others that the team collected in previous years. As regards the identification of the final syllable, the results are not as good as in the previous item, with almost 40% (39.34%) of the scores obtained being in the two lowest levels ("very fragile" and "fragile. Regarding cultural knowledge of the printed word, 91.91% have no relevant difficulties in this competence, as they get between 7 and 12 answers right (12 being the maximum result). With regard to the identification of the initial phoneme, where more than half (51.47%) of the scores were placed in the two lowest levels, and phonological awareness, where 41% of the scores were placed in the same two levels, the greatest weakness in the area of these competences is evident. These results highlight that, on the one hand, no negative effect is visible from the changes forcibly introduced because of the Covid-19 Pandemic about letter knowledge and cultural knowledge of print. On the other hand, there is an added need for great attention and particular and intentional action in the development of phonological competence, remembering that this development is crucial for learning to read and write. The reflection and training with the teachers involved also included sessions whose objective was to work with different digital technologies (namely Storyjumper and vizia.com), from which they could develop reading and writing activities that promoted learning, in person or remotely. We would highlight yet the importance of professionals keeping a close eye on those students who are not in the majority group and who present a risk in one or more of the skills assessed. It is mainly to these students that our work with these teachers was directed. This work has been supported by FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia within the Project

Abstract:
The present master’s thesis adresses the theme of the Ecological and Economic Architecture or simply, Architecture Eco², with such a concept underlying the ideas minimization of costs and reduction of environmental impacts caused by human action.
This particular study focused on the region of Tras-os-Montes and Alto Douro, namely the northeastern geographical area,
Mogadouro municipality (Bemposta), inserted in the park Natural do Douro Internacional (PNDI). The main objectives seek in an integrated way, to understand the added value of this maximum in appreciation of the rural heritage and that, without distorting the place, it combines the promotion of rural tourism, looking for solutions aimed at sustainable future.
Indeed, the creation of a cross-border strategy, linking existing cultural routes (route of Terra Fria Transmontana, route of Terra Quente Transmontana and route of Zamora, Salamanca e Águeda), gave greater relevance and visibility to eco² concept, betting on respect for the environment and ensuring the quality of living, reducing intervention costs and/or construction and the use of technologies and thus enabling greater constructive durability and return on investments.
It is, then, to preserve an identity (cultural and social), by exercising an action (citizen) protection to constructive legacy of the past, it is what sets us apart and identifies as unique

Four flatfish species were collected between January 2003 and June 2005 from commercial fishing vessels operating with gill nets and bottom trawls along the Portuguese coast in order to examine feeding habits, age and growth and reproduction. Citharus linguatula (Linnaeus, 1758), Lepidorhombus boscii (Risso, 1810) and Microchirus azevia (de Brito Capello, 1867) fed mainly on crustaceans, whereas Platichthys flesus (Linnaeus, 1758) fed mainly on echinoderms and crustaceans. Feeding activity was highest in spring and summer; females and small individuals showed the lowest vacuity index values. For all the species, significant differences were found in the proportion of prey items according to season, sex and size class. M. azevia had the largest diet spectrum. Ages were determined from sagittal otoliths. The von Bertalanffy growth equation coefficients differed between sexes. The asymptotic length L∞ of females was higher than that of males, except in C. linguatula. The lowest growth coefficient was obtained for P. flesus (k=0.11 for males and k=0.10 for females) and M. azevia showed the highest growth coefficient estimates (k=0.40 for females and k=0.30 for males). The highest proportion of individuals at spawning stage was recorded in winter for L. boscii, P. flesus and M. azevia, and in autumn for C. linguatula.
