    QBF with Soft Variables

    QBF formulae are usually considered in prenex form, i.e. the quantifierblock is completely separated from the propositional part of the QBF.Among others, the semantics of the QBF is defined by the sequence ofthe variables within the prefix, where existentially quantifiedvariables depend on all universally quantified variables stated to theleft.In this paper we extend that classical definition and consider a newquantification type which we call soft variable. The idea is toallow a flexible position and quantifier type for these variables.Hence the type of quantifier of the soft variable can also bealtered. Based on this concept, we present an optimization problemseeking an optimal prefix as defined by user-given preferences. We statean algorithm based on MaxQBF, and present several applications – mainlyfrom verification area – which can be naturally translated into theoptimization problem for QBF with soft variables. We further implementeda prototype solver for this formalism, and compare our approach toprevious work, that differently from ours does not guarantee optimalityand completeness

Projektom je obuhvaćeno i raskrižje s lokalnom cestom L69043. Projektom su prikazane pregledna, građevinska i prometna situacija te uzdužni, normalni i poprečni presjeci prometnice. Idejni projekt izrađen je prema pravilniku o osnovnim uvjetima za projektiranje izvangradske ceste s elementima koji zadovoljavaju važeće propise i kriterije.This preliminary design presents the technical documentation for the works of maintenance of the local road L69042 (Trnovica - Čepikuće) length of 3,3 km.     U ovom radu opisane su krivulje raspodjele, normalna, log-normalna i Gumbelova, i to primarno za primjenu u hidrološkim istraţivanjima, i njihova usporedba s empirijskim vrijednostima koristeći hikvadrat i K-S testove . Rad je koncipiran u dva dijela. U prvom dijelu opisane su sve raspodjele sa svojim svojstvima, funkcijama gustoće i raspodjele te dobivanje i znaĉenje osnovnih parametara svake raspodjele. Pojašnjena je i primjena svake raspodjele u hidrologiji i izvan nje. U drugom dijelu rada, priloţena su tri primjera zadataka sa ciljem prognoze protoka koristeći prethodno navedene raspodjele. U ovim primjerima dan je prikaz proraĉuna vjerojatnosti godišnjih protoka, proraĉun protoka za odreĊeni povratni period, te prilagodba empirijskih podataka teorijskom raspodjelom. Korišteni podatci o protocima za rijeku Savu dani su u struĉnom radu „Karakteristiĉni protoci Save kod Zagreba“ autora Trninić D. i Bošnjak T. Proraĉun je proveden u aplikaciji „Microsoft Excel 2010“.This study elaborates normal, log-normal and Gumbel distribution curves, primarily used hydrological studies, and their comparison with empirical values using χ2 and K-S tests. The study is divided into two parts. The first part defines all distributions with all their characteristics, applications, distribution and density functions for each one of them, as well as the basic parameters of each distribution. The second part of the study provides three examples of tasks with the aim to estimate the long-term discharges of the river using the aforementioned distributions. These examples demonstrate probability calculation of annual discharges, calcualtions for a given return period and fitting of empirical data to theoretical distribution. All used river discharges data are taken from the proffesional paper „Characteristic discharges of the Sava river at Zagreb“ written by Trninić D. i Bošnjak T. Calculation was conducted using application „Microsoft Excel 2010“

    Aplicación de la gestión de almacenes para mejorar la productividad en la empresa Cartones Saavedra, Lima 2019

    La investigación que se presentará a continuación pretendió mejorar la productividad del almacén en la empresa Cartones Saavedra, a través de la aplicación de la gestión de almacenes. Se utilizó un diseño de investigación experimental de tipo pre experimental. Una población comprendida por treinta notas de pedidos del almacén. La muestra es por conveniencia no probabilística. Se requirió la observación directa de fuentes primarias en las dimensiones eficacia y eficiencia, recogiéndose estos datos en fichas elaboradas para la investigación, fichas para el índice de exactitud de inventario, entregas realizadas y utilización de cartones, durante treinta días para el análisis pre-test y después de la aplicación de la gestión de almacenes fueron treinta días para el análisis post-test. Se logra como resultado un aumento del 16.50% en la productividad, comprobando estos resultados mediante el estadígrafo de Wilcoxon, un comportamiento no normal de significancia 0.028. En la eficacia se obtuvo un aumento de 4.30 puntos porcentuales y en la eficiencia un aumento de 20.16 puntos porcentuales en su índice. Se llegó a la conclusión que la capacidad de utilización del almacén, la exactitud de inventario, pedidos no realizados, quejas y fallas del servicio, afectan la productividad del almacén. En este sentido, se deberá gestionar el almacén para generar operaciones óptimas

    Applying and Combining Three Different Aspect Mining Techniques

    Understanding a software system at source-code level requires understanding the different concerns that it addresses, which in turn requires a way to identify these concerns in the source code. Whereas some concerns are explicitly represented by program entities (like classes, methods and variables) and thus are easy to identify, crosscutting concerns are not captured by a single program entity but are scattered over many program entities and are tangled with the other concerns. Because of their crosscutting nature, such crosscutting concerns are difficult to identify, and reduce the understandability of the system as a whole. In this paper, we report on a combined experiment in which we try to identify crosscutting concerns in the JHotDraw framework automatically. We first apply three independently developed aspect mining techniques to JHotDraw and evaluate and compare their results. Based on this analysis, we present three interesting combinations of these three techniques, and show how these combinations provide a more complete coverage of the detected concerns as compared to the original techniques individually. Our results are a first step towards improving the understandability of a system that contains crosscutting concerns, and can be used as a basis for refactoring the identified crosscutting concerns into aspects.Comment: 28 page

    Illicit Trafficking Radiation Assessment Program (ITRAP+10) Test campaign summary report

    The Illicit Trafficking Radiation Assessment Program (ITRAP+10) is a program initiated by the European Union and the United States to evaluate the performance of available commercial radiation detection equipment against consensus standards. Through ITRAP+10, the international partners worked to ensure that testing standards are clearly defined, comprehensive and realistic in order to provide decision makers and private sector stakeholders with reliable detection system performance information as well as possible methods to enhance equipment performance. To ensure the review of commercial equipment would be relevant to the global commons, the European Commission Directorate General for Home Affairs (EC-HOME), the Joint Research Centre (EC-JRC), the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (US-DHS DNDO), the U.S. Department of Energy (US-DOE), and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) agreed to collaborate on the conduct of the ITRAP+10 test campaign and share in the design of the tests, their execution, and the analysis of the data. This summary report aims at making the results of the ITRAP+10 test campaign available to the international community. It includes an overview of the ITRAP+10 test program, a summary of test results across the nine classes of instruments (tested by US-DHS DNDO and by EC-JRC) with scientific and technical data, and information about the manufacturers of the instruments tested. Moreover, it also takes into account the discussion of the standards used for testing and the feedback provided to the standards community to help with the standards' revisions.JRC.A.7-Euratom Coordinatio
