The practical aspects of covid-19 contact tracing applications and their relations to the gdpr

This work delves into the practical relations between the European General Data Protection Regulation and the contact tracing applications, which are used to help with the pandemic efforts. This work tries to answer what data can be collected, where can it be used, in what way it should be collected and what happens after the data proccesing activities are done. An overview of contact tracing technologies is provided with a suggestion which one is the best to use in the current situation, to ensure that any contact tracing application is designed with data safety in mind
