    This study aims to describe perception of tutor to student skills practice in the implementation of the learning process PPL SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta in the academic year 2012/2013. Students in an effort to prepare myself as a professional teacher candidates must master a variety of skills to carry out the process of learning the skills of open learning, skills to master the material, skills of presenting the material, classroom management skills, closing skills lessons. This study uses a descriptive research with quantitative approach. The data collection technique using a questionnaire filled out by the respondents covered the entire guidance counselor at SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta academic year 2012/2013 were 26 teacher mentors. To test the validity of the instrument using the product moment correlation, and for testing the reliability of the instrument using Cronbach alpha. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and statistical techniques for tendency classification is divided into three categories: high, medium, and low. Processing data using SPSS 17 for windows. The results of this study tutor perceptions on the implementation of learning practices of students PPL Yogyakarta State University academic year 2012/2013 are included in the category with the total percentage in the high category and the category was 73.08% which includes skills lesson opens with a total percentage in the high category and category at 76.92%, the skill to master the material with a total percentage in the high category and the category was 61.54%, the skill deliver material with a total percentage in the high category and the category was 69.23%, classroom management skills with the total percentage of the category high and medium category, 73.08%, and closing skills with a total percentage of subjects in the high category and the category was 73.08%, while 26.92% as included in the category of low-this is because the students do not have experience teaching practices and lack of control of components -components in the implementation of learning, especially in the ability to master and deliver the material so that the interaction with the students is not maximized

    EFEKTIVITAS FERRI KLORIDA (FeCl3) DALAM MENURUNKAN KADAR CHEMICAL OXYGEN DEMAND (COD) PADA LIMBAH CAIR LAUNDRY

    Limbah cair laundry mengandung COD tinggi yang dapat menyebabkan pencemaran air. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan didapatkan kadar COD limbah cair Laundry Zone sebesar 1.494 mg/l dan 992 mg/l. Kadar ini melebihi baku mutu COD untuk air limbah laundry yaitu sebesar 100 mg/l. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pengolahan air limbah, salah satunya dengan sistem koagulasi-flokulasi menggunakan koagulan ferri klorida. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas ferri klorida dalam menurunkan COD pada limbah cair laundry. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah true experimental research dengan rancangan pretest-postest with control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian limbah cair dari Laundry Zone yang diambil langsung melalui pipa outlet mesin cuci.Total sampel untuk 6 perlakuan (0,5 gr; 0,7 gr; 0,9 gr; 1,1 gr; 1,3 gr; dan 1,5 gr) dengan 4 kali pengulangan yaitu 32 sampel. Analisis data menggunakan uji Kruskal Wallis menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata penurunan kadar COD limbah cair laundry dengan berbagai variasi dosis ferri klorida (p-value = 0,005). Hasil uji Man Whitney, menunjukkan bahwa kelompok antar variasi dosis yang mempunyai perbedaan signifikan dalam menurunkan kadar COD limbah cair laundry (p≤0,05) yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan 0,5 gr dengan masing-masing kelompok perlakuan lain. Rata-rata COD setelah perlakuan mengalami penurunan secara bertingkat seiring dengan besarnya dosis ferri klorida yang diberikan. The Purpose of this research is to find valid data and facts about the Relationship Between Intelligence and Creativity at SMK PGRI 16 Jakarta. This study uses survey method with quantitative approach because in this study the data taken in the form of figures and using statistical analysis. The population of this research is all students of SMK PGRI 16 Jakarta, with a population numbering 125 people inaccessibility of class XI students majoring in Accounting, Office Administration, and Marketing. The sample used in this research is 95 students. The sampling technique used was proportional random sample technique (proportional random sampling technique). Instruments used in the study were 40 item questionnaire form for Creativity variables. Intelligence measured using IQ tests based intelligence capabilities of students and the size is already determined. From the test requirements analysis, data is normal and linear. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the degree of relationship between variables is very low, seen from the results of simple correlation analysis where the R value of 0.120. The relations among the variables have the regression equation y = 140.65 + 0.1439 X. The conclusion of research shows that the variable X has a positive relationship to variable Y, but the test results analyst regression coefficients (F test) note that Fcount (1.358 <F table (3.94), meaning that H0 is accepted, it can be concluded that intelligence has no effect on creativity. In the regression coefficient analysis test (t test) note that t count (1.165) <t table (1.9858). In conclusion intelligence has no significant effect on creativity

     “Science denialism”, which counters “science” with “science” to direct a “selected knowledge” has caused a “gap of truth” as in hoax that led to doubts of knowledge, which is a phenomenon of skepticism in the digital era. “Cartesian” verification of knowledge is limited because an algorithm-psychological-based “tool” can direct and utilize scientific data/values to support/negate knowledge for particular purpose regardless of objective truth. Thus, differentiation between truth and false needs to acknowledge the “qualitative reasoning”, as in pragmatic contextualism: a context-sensitive approach, exercised on local values-based actions as communication acts of “truth” and “false”. Pragmatic contextualism is practiced in Chinese philosophy, composed by “yin” and “yang” duality characteristics based on Confucius and Dao philosophy, which permeates into varied dimensions. Therefore, the paper aims to identify the characteristic and dimensions of pragmatic contextualism in Chinese philosophy from Confucianist and Daoist as an attempt to discover an alternative “verification” of “truth” on local values-based acts. The literature study from lectures, books, and articles (journals, news) is conducted to identify the characteristics and dimensions of pragmatic contextualism. The study founds the characteristics of pragmatic contextualism are personalization, relativity, holistic, multiscale, relationality, inter-spatiality, adaptivity, and plurality. Vocabulary is an important element in a language. Vocabulary is important to be learnt. Better level of teaching vocabulary means better teaching of a language. In Mts Nusantara Dadap- Indramayu the students are lazy to memorize vocabulary because the activity of teaching and learning vocabulary is boring. In the observation in some class, the main problems in teaching vocabulary were the technique and the method which were used monotone and less of variation. And the teacher just asked the students to memorize the new vocabulary that the students find in the text, there are no interesting methods or activity to mae the students more interested in learning vocabulary. The students often lost their focus when the teacher explained the material in the class even it was the important material that students. The aim of this research is to make an effective teaching vocabulary second grade students of MTs Nusantara by using guessing game. So in this case we need a good strategy and method in giving understanding the lesson and the purpose of the matery and the students also can to increase their vocabulary achievement This research using the guessing game technique in students vocabulary achievement to gave evidence that strategy can increase students’ ability in vocabulary achievement. This research using quantitative approach. The technique and ways of teaching were fully depend on the teacher. Here the researcher used method Guessing Game and the Dessugestopedia to teach students vocabulary in MTs Nusantara Dadap. The reseach is designed as pre-experimental. Were population at seventh grade are 30 students, then taken for sample such as 30 students as one class. The technique of collecting data used by anates, which is multiple choice test. Pre-test and post-test in Instrument test used by validity, reliabillity, difficulty test, and different ability. The discussion and findings research that The students’ vocabulary mastery before using the guessing game technique the result of the students pre-test in vocabulary mastery using experimental class in MTs Nusantara Dadap that Based on the analysis above SPSS pre –test mean value of 55.3667 to 30. While the number of students posttest mean values obtained at 70.9667 to the number of students 30. And the result with paired sample t-test known if the value of the t (7.903) is greater than t table (1.70113) then Ho is rejected. But if the value of t table (1.70113) is greater than t (7.903), then Ho is accepted. It means that there is a difference of learing outcomes pre-test to post-test using guessing game technique in teaching vocabulary achievement. In teaching and learning process using guessing game technique in teaching vocabulary achievement based on the result of reasearch. The researcher concluded that the difference before and after using guessing game and dessugestopedia method.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kebijakan dividen, kepemilikan manajerial, dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan food and beverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 16 perusahaan food and beverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2012-2016. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan oleh peneliti, maka diperoleh sampel sebanyak 11 perusahaan food and beverage. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan alat bantu aplikasi SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) versi 23. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) untuk menggambarkan kebijakan dividen, variabel Kepemilikan Manajerial (KM), variabel Return On Assets untuk menggambarkan profitabilitas, dan variabel Price to Book Value (PBV) untuk menggambarkan nilai perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kebijakan dividen dan kepemilikan manajerial berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan variabel profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaanopembelajaran, pengaruh pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi PDEODE (Predict-Discuss-Explain-Observe-Discuss-Explain) terhadap pengurangan miskonsepsi siswa, dan respon siswa pada pembelajaran dengan strategi PDEODE. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 1 Wonoayu Sidoarjo. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan mengambil sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VII-B SMPN 1 Wonoayu Sidoarjo. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan diantaranya analisis keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan skala Likert dan diinterpretasi persentase keterlaksanaan, analisis pereduksian miskonsepsismenggunakan metode CRI (Certaintynof Respons Index) dengan membandingkan persentase miskonsepsi siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan strategi PDEODE, dan analisis respon siswa menggunakan skor Guttman dan diinterpretasi persentase respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berlangsung dengan sangat baik dengan persentase rata-rata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yang diperoleh pada pertemuan I dan pertemuan II masing-masing sebesar 89,09% dan 95,76%. Hasil penurunan miskonsepsi secara keseluruhan menunjukkan persentase siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi berkurang sebesar 40,77% dari 52,93% menjadi 12,16%. Siswa memberikan respon positif dengan kategori sangat baik dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 97,84%. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran dengan strategi PDEODE dapat mereduksi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi perubahan fisika dan perubahan kimia di SMPN 1 Wonoayu Sidoarjo.     Penelitian ini mengambil topik tentang Faktor-Faktor yang Menyebabkan Perbedaan Persepsi antara Generasi Muda dan Generasi Tua dalam Memaknai Ritual Perkawinan Adat Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitiannya secara deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan suatu fenomena tentang adanya Perbedaan Persepsi antara Generasi Tua dan Generasi Muda warga Sidoagung Godean Sleman dalam memaknai Praktek Ritual Perkawinana Adat Yogyakarta . Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terjadinya kesenjangan antara generasi muda dan generasi tua warga desa di Sidoagung Godean dalam memahami atau memaknai Praktek Upacara Perkawinan Adat Yogyakarta terletak pada perbedaan pandangan persepsi satu sama lain yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor yaitu sistem kepercayaan Kejawen, nilai-nilai budaya yang dianut berbeda dan sudah berubah dan sikap-sikap antar generasi dalam menyikapi perubahan dalam memaknai upacara perkawinan adat Yogyakarta, pandangan hidup kedua generasi yang berbeda, pola hubungan keluarga dan cara-cara berkomuniaksi dan lingkungan masyarakat setempat di wilayah Godean. Perbedaan cara pandang atau persepsi antara orang tua dan kaum muda warga desa Sidoagung Godean tentang upacara perkawinan adat Yogyakarta adalah orang tua lebih berpandangan secara filosofis sebagai nilai-nilai luhur dalam pandangan hidup berkeluarga yang harus dilestarikan. Sementara kaum mudanya lebih menggunakan cara pandang yang praktis fungsional tentang praktek upacara tersebut, jadi yang penting praktis, tidak njlimet dan tidak ribet. Sistem kepercayaan orang Jawa yang disebut Kejawen memang dipercayai oleh baik kaum tua maupun kaum muda warga desa Sidoagung Godean dalam praktek upacara perkawinan adat Yogyakarta. Cara pandang keduanya memberikan hal berbeda yang menurut generasi tua, upacara perkawinan tersebut adalah sesuatu yang sakral dan mematuhi aturan-aturan dari Kraton Yogyakarta, sehingga membuat suasana perkawinan menjadi sangat sakral. Namun menurut keyakinan pandangan kaum muda, justru mereka tidak terlalu yakin dengan apa yang terkandung dalam setiap upacara perkawinan adat Jawa tersebut. Kedua generasi tua dan muda memiliki cara pandnag yang hampir sama dalam memaknai adanya nilai-nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam upacara perkawinan adat Yogyakarta yaitu nilai tanggung jawab, nilai penghormatan kepada orang tua, nilai-nilai kelanggengan, kepercayaan, pengorbanan, nilai kesakralan, hikmah, keteladanan secara simbolik, nilai sosial, seni, adiluhung, keanggunan, sopan santun, bertanggung jawab, nilai-nilai kekeluargaan seperti musyawarah dan gotong royong. Generasi tua dan generasi muda menyikapi Praktek Upacara Perkawinan Adat Yogyakarta terdapat kesamaanya dalam cara pandang yaitu sejauh tidak meninggalkan nilai kesakralan upacara itu sendiri atau tidak meninggalkan pakem secara umum. Terdapat perbedaan dalam cara pandang tentang pola hubungan komunikasi keluarga Jawa dalam Praktek Upacara Perkawinan Adat Yogyakarta. Menurut orang tua lebih menanamkan sosialisasi nilai-nilai adat istiadat budaya perkawinan yang hubungan komunikasinya lebih banyak secara informal kepada x anak-anaknya. Cara pandang yang berbeda terletak bahwa menurut pandangan orang tua, segala sesuatu yang menyangkut masalah perkawinan harus dibicarakan terlebih dahulu dengan pihak orang tua yaitu antara orang tua dan anak-anak.     Abstract This study aims to determine the strength of gender to Islamic consumption behavior of Islamic Economics students, Surabaya State University. Islamic consumption behavior measured by the five basic principles of consumption in Islam. This study uses quantitative descriptive method. The research sample set were 146 students but only 91 students could be further processed. Data source were obtained from questionnaires with guttman scale and analyzed by probit regression using Stata 14.     An Analysis of Word Formation Processes on Cosmetic Product Descriptions in U.S Celebrities’ Beauty Brands

    This research explored the types of word formation processes in the descriptions of cosmetic products. This descriptive qualitative study employed the classification of word formation processes proposed by Yule’s (2010)—derivation, compounding, conversion, borrowing, blending, acronym, backformation, coinage, clipping, and multiple processes to analyze the data. The data were taken from the descriptions of cosmetic products in the beauty brands by U.S celebrities—Fenty Beauty, Rare Beauty, Kylie Cosmetics, and Florence by Mills which were released and in production in April, 2022. This study discovered 125 word-formation processes including derivation (42), conversion (29), multiple processes (17), compounding (16), clipping (8), borrowing (7), acronym (3), coinage (2), and blending (1). This study implies that derivation is the most frequently used in the product descriptions, suggesting that the use of derivation creates adjectives that modifies the products
