Finis Mundi a través de Twitter y Facebook : una experiencia con alumnos de tercero de educación secundaria

Social networks are used by many adolescents in their day to day and therefore, are integrated into their ways of life. Faced with this situation, reading is not integrated into their lives and students do not approach it from the pleasurable. Faced with this situation, the current teacher must be trained in the use of new technologies, because, for example, social networks present numerous opportunities to work on reading promotion in the classroom. Therefore, we propose an experience carried out with third year students of Compulsory Secondary Education where a series of activities are proposed where social networks, specifically Twitter and Facebook, were incorporated to facilitate the dynamization of reading the book Finis Mundi.Las redes sociales son utilizadas por numerosos adolescentes en su día a día y por lo tanto, están integradas en sus modos de vida. Frente a esta situación, la lectura no está integrada en sus vidas y el alumnado no se acerca a ella desde lo placentero. Ante esta situación, el docente actual debe estar formado en el uso de las nuevas tecnologías, pues, por ejemplo, las redes sociales presentan numerosas oportunidades para trabajar el fomento lector en el aula. Por lo tanto, planteamos una experiencia llevada acabo con alumnos de tercero de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria donde se plantean una serie de actividades donde se incorporaron las redes sociales, concretamente Twitter y Facebook, para facilitar la dinamización de la lectura del libro Finis Mundi

The TIC used as motivating agents in there adding habits of secondary school students.

TIC están inmersas en la sociedad del siglo XXI e incluso en las escuelas. De esta manera, los adolescentes han incorporado estos recursos a sus entornos vitales, llegando a formar parte de su modus vivendi. En el campo de educación, los índices de lectura siguen siendo una asignatura pendiente en la educación, ya que los adolescentes no llegan a verla como un elemento vivencial sino como integrada a su vida académico. Como consecuencia, unificando esos dos planteamientos, proponemos un plan de actuación lectora con el objetivo de comprobar el papel que pueden desempeñar las TIC en los hábitos lectores de los adolescentes de la etapa Secundaria Obligatoria.ICTs are embedded in the XXI century and even in schools. Thus, teenagers have incorporated these resources to their living environment, becoming part of their modus vivendi. In the field of education, reading rates are still pending in education, since teens do not get to see it as an experiential element but as integrated into their academic life. As a result, unifying these two approaches, we propose a plan of reading performance in order to check the role that ICT can play in the reading habits of adolescents in the Secondary stage

Blog as a reading strategy at the compulsory secondary education classroom

Inmersos en la Sociedad de la Información y la Comunicación, la escuela está dejando un espacio a la incorporación de estas herramientas que hacen que la metodología del aula cambie y el alumnado adopte una actitud más activa en la acción educativa. Desde este planteamiento, nos parece interesante incorporar una herramienta digital, como es el blog, para acercar a los alumnos a la lectura compartida mediante la interacción entre iguales y poder compartir sus gustos lectores de forma inmediata, alejándonos de aquellas clases de lengua enquistadas en la lectura academicista.Immersed in the Information and Communication Society, the school is leaving a space for the incorporation of these tools that make the methodology of the classroom change and the students adopt a more active attitude in the educational action. From this approach, it seems interesting to incorporate a digital tool, such as the blog, to bring students to shared reading through interaction between equals and to be able to share their readers' likes immediately, away from those language classes embedded in the academic reading

Twitter y fomento lector: dinamizando la lectura en el aula

Twitter sigue siendo una de las redes sociales que hoy en día utilizan los adolescentes para comunicarse con sus amistades. Ante esta situación, partiendo de la idea de que los alumnos no se acercan a la lectura por su falta de nivel de comprensión lectora o porque no está dentro de sus aficiones, se plantea una experiencia didáctica desarrollada en un aula de tercero de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria en la cual a través de Twitter se dinamiza la lectura desde el punto de vista del fomento lector. Los resultados obtenidos muestran cómo el acercamiento de la lectura a través de la redes sociales hace que el alumno construya su hábito lector y, por otra parte, la vea como una fuente de disfrute

Hábitos de lectura y consumo de información de los adolescentes en el ámbito digital

The present work tries to echo how the communicative metamorphoses occurred in the last years, inferring in the reading habits and in the consumption of information in a general way and more specifically in adolescents. The analysis will start from the report prepared by the writers' guild 2018 (2019), since it allows us to monitor the state of reading habits and book purchases in a generalized way in Spain. Then, apply what has been poured out to young people extensively and, finally, materializing by extrapolating all the data analyzed to the geographical area of Cadiz adolescents and their position in relation to the rest of Spanish adolescents. Gender variables will also be taken into account in a very special way, to see if there is a certain preference depending on the sex of the reader in the choice of medium (digital or analogue) and if within the digital medium there are discrepancies in the type of text read. We will also check whether digital reading by young people is reduced exclusively to short texts and whether this choice can be derived from the very nature of digital. In the same way, we will pay special attention to the preferences of analogical reading versus digital reading, when we talk about long texts, again due to the personal nature of paper reading. We will analyze the reading frequency of the different digital media, as well as the choice of other shorter texts, categorized within the taxonomy of digital reading. Finally, we will take into account what types of readers with respect to reading frequency become from digital media. The idea is to draw up a panorama that shows how reading occurs among adolescents in the digital world, by definition, closer to their thoughts and feelings

School Teachers Trainees and the Grammatical Competence for their Teaching Practice

This paper is focused on checking, as a main objective, if the students who get into higher education show a basic grammatical competence that qualifies them to face their initial training as future teachers ( in this case, future Primary School teachers). El blog en la formación inicial de los futuros maestros del Grado de Educación primaria. Un estudio de caso

Esteartículo se basa en un estudio de caso realizado con estudiantes del Grado en Educación Primaria de la Universidad de Cádiz y suobjetivoes analizarlas aportaciones del uso de un blog educativo en la formación inicial de profesorado. La investigación secompone de diversas fases y técnicas, que pretenden no solo delimitar su competencia digital, sino también darles voz en la adecuación de la incorporación y uso de blog, como protagonistas de su formación. La realización de un cuestionario TAM (Technologyacceptancemodel) constituye un elemento de reflexión de los participantes que evidencia una gran aceptación y motivación hacia el uso de esta herramienta en el aula. Los resultados, sin poderse generalizar, se plantean desde el desarrollo de una matriz DAFO en la que se indican las dificultades, amenazas, fortalezas y oportunidades que se deben contemplar si se deseara replicar este tipo de actuaciones en otros contexto
