Repertório bibliográfico anotado de monografias de luta leonesa (1977-2015)

The purpose of this study was to create an annotated bibliography about Leonese wrestling. The first author's library was the starting point and then the catalogs of the National Library of Spain, Public Libraries of Spain, Spanish University Libraries Network, as well as the Spanish ISBN Agency Database of books published in Spain were consulted by using the keywords “lucha leonesa” and “aluche”. The annotated bibliography comprises a total of 19 monographs, published between 1977 and 2015. As a whole, they show the eminently local dimension of this traditional sport, the support it has received from several public and private institutions, as well as its double dimension as a sport and as a tradition solidly rooted in Leonese culture.El presente estudio tuvo por objeto crear un repertorio bibliográfico anotado sobre lucha leonesa. Para su elaboración se partió de la biblioteca del primer autor y se consultaron los catálogos de Biblioteca Nacional de España, Bibliotecas Públicas del Estado, Red de Bibliotecas Universitarias Españolas, así como la Base de datos de libros editados en España de la Agencia Española del ISBN, mediante las palabras clave “lucha leonesa” y “aluche”. Diferencias Regionales en Rendimiento Educativo en España: ¿La Familia lo Explica Todo?

PISA 2006 results showed huge differences in educational attainment across Spanish regions. The aim of this paper is to analyze the factors explaining these differences. Our results indicate that differences in family characteristics of students from different regions are crucial in explaining them. However, we also find that differences in regional educational systems are important factors explaining differences in education outcome. The variables related to regional particularities of the educational system are important in explaining the different results in different academic areas. The implications in terms of educational policies of the latter result are many, especially for the implementation of policies to reduce regional economic disparities.PISA; Rendimiento educativo; Análisis Regional; Descomposición de las diferencias; Sistema educativo; Políticas Públicas.

Does grade retention affect achievement? Some evidence from Pisa

Grade retention practices are at the forefront of the educational debate. In this paper, we use PISA 2009 data for Spain to measure the effect of grade retention on students’achievement. One important problem when analyzing this question is that school outcomes and the propensity to repeat a grade are likely to be determined simultaneously. We address this problem by estimating a Switching Regression Model. We find that grade retention has a negative impact on educational outcomes, but we confirm the importance of endogenous selection, which makes observed differences between repeaters and non-repeaters appear 14.6% lower than they actually are. The effect on PISA scores of repeating is much smaller (-10% of non-repeaters’average) than the counterfactual reduction that non-repeaters would suffer had they been retained as repeaters (-24% of their average). Furthermore, those who repeated a grade during primary education suffered more than those who repeated a grade of secondary school, although the effect of repeating at both times is, as expected, much larger

Distribution and breeding performance of ahigh-density Eagle Owl Bubo bubo population in southeast Spain

CapsuleDespite very high breeding density, no density-dependent effects on reproductive parameterswere detected.AimsTo describe the distribution, abundance and breeding performance of Eagle Owls and to analysedensity-dependent effects on breeding parameters.MethodsWe censused a high-density population of Eagle Owls in southeast Spain between 2003 and2010. To census the population we employed acoustic signals and searched for field signs. Breedingperformance was determined by nest monitoring.ResultsThe population’s density, productivity and fledgling rate were the highest recorded for this species.We detected a negative relationship between the laying date and productivity. Despite breeding pairs’ highdensity, no density-dependent effects on reproductive parameters were detected.ConclusionsOur results suggest that resources in the study area (mainly the availability of RabbitsOryc-tolagus cuniculus) and adult turnover might be responsible for this population’s high density and breedingsuccess

The purpose of this text is to show the historical background of what a game was and how it has become a sport today. This study will identify the transcendence of Leon’s struggle in Leon’s society until it is declared as the only sport of Cultural Interest. We will describe how it is wrestling today. We will make a reference to the normative scope that protects this sport activity. We will teach the possibilities offered by the educational field for its implementation. Aprendiendo a diferenciar las hipertrofias del miocardio en la práctica diaria

Left ventricular hypertrophy is frequently seen in ecochardiographic laboratories and everyone knows that there are many etiologies involved in this condition. This is why we need keys that help us to diagnose the cause. It is true that there are not pathognomonic facts for every disease, but we can suspect the etiology using all the data collected in each patient, basically coming from echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR). In this article we sumarize the available information for pathologic conditions (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, hypertensive cardiopathy, infiltrative diseases like amioloidosis and storage diseases like Fabry disease) and the heart of the athlete. The last one have been choosed due to, taht in some instances is an important differential diagnosis with a state of disease.La hipertrofia ventricular es una condición frecuente en los laboratorios de imagen cardíaca. Dado que es común a múltiples patologías es de gran importancia encontrar claves que permitan reconocer la causa. Aunque no hay datos patognomónicos para cada enfermedad, sí que es posible encontrar alteraciones que, combinadas, harán sospechar una determinada etiología. Para ello, se utilizará la información de la ecocardiografía y de la resonancia magnética cardíaca (cardio-RM). Configuración del colector de admisión en la simulación de motores: volumen o combinación de uniones de conductos

[SPA] En este trabajo, se compara el modelado del colector de admisión, considerándolo como un único volumen, o discretizado en conductos, estudiando en que condiciones es más apropiado utilizar cada uno. El modelado ha sido realizado utilizando el código de cálculo ENGINE CARD. Los ensayos han sido realizados sobre un motor de producción con colector de construcción modular. Los transitorios de presión y velocidad han sido medidos simultáneamente en diferentes puntos del colector de admisión. Finalmente, se ha realizado una comparación entre los resultados proporcionados por el modelo y las medidas experitnentales para distintos regímenes de giro.[ENG] In this work, the intake manifold model has been analysed. Two different cases have been compared: modelled as a plenum, or discretized in pipes and junctions. The ENGINE CARD computer code was used to develop the model. The test have been accomplished on production engine with a modular intake manifold. The instantaneous pressure and gas velocity flow velocity were measured simultaneously at different points of the intake system. Finally, a ful! comparison of the experimental and numerical results is carried out at different engine speeds, to evaluate the best scheme
