    En torno a una investigación en didáctica artística: enseñanza-aprendizaje del arte con nuevos materiales visuales

    This text is focused in the teaching and the learning about the Meninas. However, this is also an excuse for approaching a research on didactics of art, with the elaboration of new didactic materials. We aim to use direct vision of the Works of art inside the museum as an element of communication that triggers the process of learning foreign languages, while learning about the cultural heritage of a country. For this, we recommend the fragmentary use of classical texts, so that students can relate the text that is read with the image that is looked at, inside the space of the painting. To this, we add the creation of new materials inside the classroom, using the computer. Those are related with classical texts (conceptual map) and with the vocabulary of the artwork (iconic map). To achieve this, appropriation methods from the historical avant-gardes are used. Further on, we suggest different proposals so that students are able to create new didactic materials too, using the Technologies of Information and Communication (TIC).Este trabajo se centra en la enseñanza-aprendizaje de Las Meninas pero es también un pretexto para abordar una investigación en didáctica artística con la creación de nuevos materiales didácticos. Se pretende utilizar la visión directa, en el museo, de la obra de arte como elemento comunicativo desencadenante del aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras y del conocimiento del patrimonio cultural de un país. Para ello se recomienda la utilización fragmentada de textos clásicos para que los alumnos relacionen, en el espacio del cuadro, el texto que se lee con la imagen que se mira. Se aporta la creación en el ordenador de nuevos materiales didácticos, para el aula, relacionados con textos clásicos (mapa conceptual) y con el vocabulario de la obra de arte (mapa icónico). Para ello se utilizan métodos de apropiación que proceden de las vanguardias históricas.     Polymeric foams as the matrix of voltammetric sensors for the detection of catechol, hydroquinone, and their mixtures

    Producción CientíficaPorous electrodes based on polymethylmethacrylate and graphite foams (PMMA_G_F) have been developed and characterized. Such devices have been successfully used as voltammetric sensors to analyze catechol, hydroquinone, and their mixtures. The presence of pores induces important changes in the oxidation/reduction mechanism of catechol and hydroquinone with respect to the sensing properties observed in nonfoamed PMMA_graphite electrodes (PMMA_G). The electropolymerization processes of catechol or hydroquinone at the electrode surface observed using PMMA_G do not occur at the surface of the foamed PMM_G_F. In addition, the limits of detection observed in foamed electrodes are one order of magnitude lower than the observed in the nonfoamed electrodes. Moreover, foamed electrodes can be used to detect simultaneously both isomers and a remarkable increase in the electrocatalytic properties shown by the foamed samples, produces a decrease in the oxidation potential peak of catechol in presence of hydroquinone, from +0.7 V to +0.3 V. Peak currents increased linearly with concentration of catechol in presence of hydroquinone over the range of 0.37·10−3 M to 1.69·10−3 M with a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.27 mM.     One-Step Preparation of Large Area Films of Oriented MoS2 Nanoparticles on Multilayer Graphene and Its Electrocatalytic Activity for Hydrogen Evolution

    [EN] MoS2 is a promising material to replace Pt-based catalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), due to its excellent stability and high activity. In this work, MoS2 nanoparticles supported on graphitic carbon (about 20 nm) with a preferential 002 facet orientation have been prepared by pyrolysis of alginic acid films on quartz containing adsorbed (NH4)(2)MoS4 at 900 degrees C under Ar atmosphere. Although some variation of the electrocatalytic activity has been observed from batch to batch, the MoS2 sample exhibited activity for HER (a potential onset between 0.2 and 0.3 V vs. SCE), depending on the concentrations of (NH4)(2)MoS4 precursor used in the preparation process.     Effect of the impurities O2 or NO present in non-purified flue gas from oxy-fuel combustion processes for carbon capture and storage technology

    CO2/impurities cocapture in CCS technology allows reducing the purification costs and avoiding the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. The viability of the transport by pipeline and the geological storage of the non-purified flue gas from oxy-fuel combustion of biomass and other processes, keeping the impurities O2 or NO in the stream along with CO2, is assessed considering thermodynamic and hydraulic aspects. For this, we experimentally determined, under CCS conditions, the density, vapor-liquid equilibrium, and speed of sound of three CO2 + O2 and CO2 + NO mixtures as binary models of the gas, and we calculated their Joule-Thomson coefficients from the experimental data. Additionally, we compared the values calculated for the determined properties using the equations of state EOS-CG, GERG-2008 and PC-SAFT to our results of CO2 + O2, validating all three equations for this system. For the CO2 + NO mixtures, only PC-SAFT could be applied, which was also validated using the parameters obtained in this work. Finally, we calculated several selected CCS parameters from our data and concluded that both O2 and NO have negative effects on the transport and storage steps of this technology, which are negligible in the case of NO with the investigated concentrations

    Big data in tourism marketing: past research and future opportunities

    [EN] Purpose – The purpose of this study was to uncover representative emergent areas and to examine the research area of marketing, tourism and big data (BD) to assess how these thematic areas have developed over a 27-year time period from 1996 to 2022. This study analyzed 1,152 studies to identify the principal thematic areas and emergent topics, principal theories used, predominant forms of analysis and the most productive authors in terms of research. Design/methodology/approach – The articles for this research were all selected from the Web of Science database. A systematic and quantitative literature review was performed. This study used SciMAT software to extract indicators. Specifically, this study analyzed productivity and produced a science map. Findings – The findings suggest that interest in this area has increased gradually. The outputs also reveal the innovative effort of industry in new technologies for developing models for tourism marketing. Ten research areas were identified: “destination marketing,” “mobility patterns,” “co-creation,” “gastronomy,” “sustainability,” “tourist behavior,” “market segmentation,” “artificial neural networks,” “pricing” and “tourist satisfaction.” Originality/value – This work is unique in proposing an agenda for future research into tourism marketing research with new technologies such as BD and artificial intelligence techniques. In addition, the results presented here fill the current gap in the research since while there have been literature reviews covering tourism with BD or marketing, these areas have not been studied as a whole.[ES] El objetivo de esta investigación fue descubrir nichos representativos de áreas emergentes y examinar el área de Marketing, Turismo y Big Data, evaluando cómo han evolucionado estas áreas temáticas durante un período de 27 años desde 1996–2022. Analizamos 1.152 investigaciones para identificar las principales áreas temáticas y temas emergentes, las principales teorías utilizadas, las formas de análisis predominantes y los autores mas productivos en términos de investigación. Metodología – Todos los artículos para esta investigación fueron seleccionados de la base de datos Web of Science. Realizamos una revisión sistemática y cuantitativa de la literatura. Utilizamos el software SciMAT para extraer indicadores. Específicamente, analizamos la productividad y elaboramos un mapeo científico. Hallazgos – Los hallazgos sugieren que el inter es en esta área ha aumentado gradualmente. Los resultados también revelan el esfuerzo innovador de la industria en nuevas tecnologías para desarrollar modelos de marketing turístico. Se identificaron diez áreas de investigación (“marketing de destinos”, “patrones de movilidad”, “cocreación”, “gastronomía”, “sostenibilidad”, “comportamiento turístico”, “segmentación de mercado”, “redes neuronales artificiales”, “precios”, y “satisfacción del turista”). Valor – Este trabajo es único al proponer una agenda para futuras investigaciones en investigación de Marketing Turístico con nuevas tecnologías como Big Data y técnicas de Inteligencia Artificial.     How can destinations get engagement on Instagram? Artificial Intelligence as a tool for photo analysis

    [EN] What type of content should be published on Instagram to get more engagement? This article highlights the different characteristics that the images of tourists show on Instagram with the most engagement, that is likes and comments. Understanding the behavior in a destination helps tourism managers in marketing strategies. Based on the stimulus-organism-response model, a content analysis of 49,540 photographs shared by tourists that received 3,734,384 likes and 133,497 comments is carried out. By combining the content analysis with Kruskal-Wallis non-parametric tests, the results show that the different characteristics found in the images imply different amounts between comments and likes, demonstrating that the behavior of users on Instagram is influenced by the different attributes of the images. Specifically, images that feature people get more engagement than destination-focused ones. Additionally, scenes such as gastronomy and nature get less engagement than scenes such as old and new heritage, outdoors, and entertainment. Specifically, photos with people get greater rate of comments than likes, and if the format is selfie, they also get more comments.
